“Harley is exactly the type of person you want taking care of your fur baby. I had several last minute changes to our plan day of and she was willing to accommodate as such. She is quick to respond to messages, thorough, kind, and her love for animals shines! I wish Reuben would have got a little more distance on his walks, but given the heat I can totally understand that. I am grateful to have found someone I can trust to be there for my little puppy when I am unable to be. 10/10 recommend Harley for all your fur baby needs!”

About: I have experience taking care of kittens/puppies and senior cats (21 years old). Have an exotic pet? No problem! Raccoon, rabbit, bird, chinchilla, etc. I’m willing to take care of them. I am available after 4 pm every day and love to do drop-in visits! I can do home sitting on all weekends since Friday night. If you want to board your cats at my place, I can have a separate room just for them. No kids, no dogs, no smoking, big home with fenced backyard. I have 3 super-friendly cats myself, and they get along well with other cats. If your furbabies are shy, I can set up a separate room for them. If they love making friends, my cats will keep them busy.

“Tracey was very kind. She was on time. Sent me pictures and my pup was happy when we arrived. She followed all instructions as well! We will be seeing Tracy again!”

“Bethany did an amazing job! I was in need with very little notice and Bethany accepted the job and made it so easy. My pet was taken care of and I didn’t have to worry. I would recommend her a thousand times!”

I have my partner, who has a very similar background in pet care, tag along with me just in case I need an extra set of hands but if you’d prefer just one person, I’m happy to be a team of one! I’d always prefer to do a meet and greet before taking on care tasks just to make sure me and your furry friend mesh well. I am a stay at home pet parent so my schedule is wide open. About: What sets me apart is my genuine, lifelong love for dogs and my hands-on experience as a pet owner myself. I have two dogs, and my oldest is now 7 years old, so I understand the different needs that come with both younger and older dogs. I’m patient, responsible, and very in tune with dogs’ body language and emotional needs. I’m also experienced with basic training for puppies and attentive care for senior dogs, including administering medications and adjusting routines to match their energy and health needs. I treat every dog like family and aim to create a calm, safe, and fun environment tailored to each pet’s personality. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily life since I have two dogs of my own. I’m used to planning my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them the attention they deserve. Adding care for other pets fits seamlessly into my routine because I genuinely enjoy it. Whether it’s early morning walks or evening check-ins, I’m flexible and committed to making sure each pet gets the consistent care and love they need. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs like medication or crate time. I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for in your absence. I also keep your home tidy and secure, and I’m happy to send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I don’t just watch dogs—I get to know them. Whether it’s helping puppies learn the ropes or giving senior pups slow, cozy care, I tailor every visit to what your dog actually needs. I’m patient, upbeat, and love turning training moments into fun games. I pay close attention to each dog’s unique needs, energy level, and personality—because great care isn’t one-size-fits-all. And yes, I’m the sitter who celebrates every tail wag like it’s an achievement. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work full time Monday–Friday from 8–4, but I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend visits. I also have holidays and summers off, which gives me plenty of flexible time for daytime walks, drop-ins, and longer stays when needed. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I maintain a safe, structured environment by following your pet’s routine exactly as you outline it. In your home, I respect your space, secure doors and gates, and keep all food, treats, and cleaning supplies out of reach. I monitor pets closely during walks and use sturdy leashes and proper equipment. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind.
About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats since I was young. I’ve been pet sitting through Rover for a while now and genuinely enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets! I work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate lots of attention to your pets. I also regularly house sit and dog sit for friends and family, and I’m comfortable caring for pets in your home or mine. I currently live in an apartment with plenty of grassy areas surrounding the complex—perfect for daily walks and outdoor playtime. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I’m always happy to take dogs out on a leash for fresh air and exercise.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve learned how to care for all pets. Dogs, cats, goats, chickens, bunnies, llamas. Hopefully your dog won’t spit on me like my llamas did ;) I adore all animals I love getting on their level to play, teaching them new tricks with clicker training, and back massages (‘cause even our pets need that sometimes too🥲). Your pet will LOVE their time at Camp Hanna. Bring em over! I work from home and where I cannot commit to a pet full time just yet, I’d love to help you out and host your best friend for as long as you need :) Lovely multiplex townhome on a quiet street. We have grassy side and backyard and several wooded walking trails. I go on walks between calls multiple times a day and would love to take your pooch out on the leash and work on their clicker training.
About: I have such a love for animals. I speak to them at all times, even when they’re passing by with their humans and I just tell the animal to have a great day. They make me so very happy, and I love to make them happy. I have 2 cats of my own and 5 niece and nephew dogs I have cared for and spoiled rotten for many years. I don’t get tired of playing, feeding, singing, or walking animals. I have just left a very emotionally draining job, caring for elderly humans and ensuring their happiness is always met. Now I’m ready to start fresh and have free time to care for your (furry) loved ones and ensure they are happy and healthy. I am comfortable caring for pets however they (and you) are comfortable with our visits. Their wants and needs is what’s important to me, and I will do my best to do what is needed.
About: I've spent my whole life surrounded by animals—caring for everything from playful puppies and cuddly cats to bunnies, ferrets, and more. I’ve fostered kittens, helped them grow strong and social, and supported pets through every stage of life. What started as helping family, friends, and neighbors has grown into a true calling. I have experience with pets of all ages, medical needs, and those requiring special attention—like blind or deaf animals who need extra patience and care. Whether it’s daily check-ins or last-minute sitting, I treat every pet like family—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too. I work from home and I make my own schedule. So, tons of time for walks, play-time, bathing, and cuddles. Missing your fur baby? No worries! As a fur mom, I know how reassuring it can be to get updates, with pictures and videos, while being away from your babies. I have 2 pups and tons of toys that will keep your pups entertained, and space they can retreat to if they feel overstimulated. I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. My fur babies have a calm and safe environment, and we’d love to share that with your fur baby.
About: I used to live and work on an animal sanctuary with all different kids of animals. I also worked as a professional dog walker and ive taken care of furry friends for many years. I have two part time day jobs (they equal about a normal work week), but I will have plenty of time outside of that to take care of your pets 😊 I will check in with your animals every few hours throughout the day (if that's what's requested) and can stay a bit to give your pet love and attention instead of just running in and out.
About: I have been an avid animal-lover and caretaker since the age of 10. I spent my youth volunteering for animal shelters, fostering dogs, and taking my own pups to obedience and agility classes. I have worked on farms with livestock and assisted my sister with her dog-grooming clients. I have cared for a number of senior dogs and cats and have administered various medications. I am eager to work with pets of any age, though, and I have experience caring for fish, rodents, cats, dogs, horses, cows, chickens, and other birds. I am currently self-employed and working part-time. My schedule is very much open and flexible, so I am able ensure your pet takes first priority! I am quite aware every animal requires different levels of care and attention. I provide serious attention to detail when it comes to all of your pets' various needs and habits. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
