“Bill was great. This was his first time with our dogs and he came to the house twice prior to make sure the dogs knew him and to get detailed instructions. We will definitely use him again the next time we have an overnight trip!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience with both younger and older pets. This past summer, I cared for two dogs and two cats for a week, handling feeding, walks, and daily routines. I also helped train my two puppies in 2024, so I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs and basic training. In addition, I’ve helped care for my grandparents’ older dog, so I understand the patience and attention senior pets need. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My boyfriend and I moved to Charleston this summer! He has an internship from 10-6:30 during the week, and my internship is from home. I also have a part time job, but I will be home during the week a lot. We also are home pretty much every evening. We both love dogs! I have two dogs back home and both have experience taking care of dogs of all ages. Our apartment area has a really nice spot to walk dogs. I always prioritize safety and making pets feel comfortable in their environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific needs. I’m attentive, patient, and make sure pets feel relaxed and cared for whether I’m in your home, they’re in mine or I’m checking in on them.
About: Hello! Thank you for your interest! When income to your house your pet will be greeted with a smile and open arms or structure and confidence depending on what they need, I understand all pets are unique in their own way. I have 4 years vet tech experience behind me and 2 years into owning my own farm currently. Let me know where I can help out with your pet! I currently own a farm. I absolutely love taking care of animals. I find it very rewarding to be around not only my animals but to also know I'm helping out others. I Am a very aware person. I'm constantly thinking and looking for anything that an animal could get into, harm itself in any way etc.- if you think you thought of it... I've thought of 100 other ways or what-ifs?

About: I care for every dog like my own pets. I pay close attention to detail. I love to always give my best service to any and every client. I'm currently working part-time at a carwash. “We were out of town for the weekend, and Miss Ashlyn took wonderful care of Fallon. She followed all of Fallon’s feeding and medication instructions, took her on walks, and kept us updated with messages and photos. It gave us great peace of mind knowing Fallon was in such caring and reliable hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup! We highly recommend Miss Ashlyn and would gladly trust her with Fallon again.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by various dog breeds and ages my entire life and learned to love senior dogs as my childhood dog grew older. I have experience with infant puppies to the late stages in life. I love to spend time with other people’s dogs because I 1) enjoy helping other people out but 2) can’t have a dog of my own right now and need somewhere to give all my love!!! I see clients throughout the week at various times, usually virtually, so my availability is pretty open! Fridays work a little differently, but I will also make sure to update you on that! I am free for check-ins, but also LOVE sitting at home with the dogs when I can - especially since I can use remote platforms! I will mostly stay overnight for people in their homes and take care of their dogs + give lots of snuggles while families are on vacation. I will feed the dogs, give them medications if needed, make sure water is kept clean and full, play in the yard (if available), take on walks, snuggles, etc :)
About: Transparency is important to me, so I want pet parents to know I work full-time in Mount Pleasant during the weekdays (7:30 AM–4:00 PM). Because of my commute from Summerville, I’m unable to leave work early before 4:00 PM. This schedule works best for pets comfortable during the workday, and I’m fully available for evenings, nights, and weekends.. Communication is very important to me — I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know your pet is safe and cared for. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely comfortable and confident while they’re apart. I can do drop in before 630 am and anytime after 4 pm Caring for pets fits naturally into my day because spending time with animals is something I truly love.” Dogs are my peace and relaxing time. “Reliable, loving care for your pet, with routines, exercise, and plenty of attention. “Your pet’s happiness and safety is my top priority." Happy babies.

“Friendly, responsive, responsible, and very good with our energetic fur kiddos!! Took 45 minutes out of his day to drive to us for a last minute meet-and-greet and was so kind and genuine! Very trustworthy and accommodating. Will definitely re-book once we next need help!”

“Claire did such a amazing job taking care of our fur babies!! She went above and beyond our expectations. Our babies didn't even miss us. She kept in contact with me the entire time we was away and sent me pictures. The house was just as clean as we left it. So glad we found you we will definitely be using claire everytime we plan a trip if she is available. Thank you so much!”

About: As a college student, I understand the importance of being responsible and dependable. I've cared for my own pets for most of my life and have experience with many kinds of pets of different ages and personalities. Growing up around animals has taught me how to recognize their needs, and provide loving, attentive care. From a very young age my family and I have taken care of many kinds of animals like dogs, cats, fish, lizards, tortoises, rats etc. You name it and I’ve probably owned it so I like to think I’m reliable in that sense. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take the time to learn their routine so they feel comfortable and safe while you're away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or quiet time, I adapt my care and environment to fit their needs. I prioritize safety and communication, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy and in great hands! I am a college student home for the summer with a part time job. My jobs schedule varies weekly but I am PRN so I can easily make my own schedule based around your pets. My best days are Fridays-Mondays and all day availability. You let me know the best times that work for you and I’m sure we can make something work. If you need help Tuesday- Thursdays don’t be afraid to ask. I will try my hardest to be as flexible as possible! I go back to the University of South Carolina starting in August but I come home often and am very willing to keep in contact regarding my availability which will be Friday- Monday for certain. I have a fenced in yard with two very sweet dogs. I have a male miniature golden doodle and a female cocker spaniel. My golden doodle is neutered. I have 4 cats as well but only 2 of them come downstairs and are very sweet as well. I have a crate free home but I can crate your pup if requested. I am very flexible, eager, and determined to learn your pets routine as well as anything they need within or outside of your home.
“She has been my go-to sitter for years and my dogs love her. She always is very communicative and keeps me updated on everywhere and sends me pictures of my dogs being dorks and showing how happy they are”

FAQs for House Sitting - Eutawville
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 313 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Eutawville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Eutawville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Eutawville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Eutawville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eutawville. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
