She played fetch with them and did a great job sticking to their schedule even if it meant getting up at 4am when our older dog needed to potty. She paid attention to all the little details we talked about with their care instructions during the meet and greet. She was flexible with the stay as our travels home ended up taking us less time to travel back home. The house was the way we left it when we got home. The dog seemed comfortable and happy and not stressed from us being away. She is a true gem and we plan to book her for multiple other planned trips in our future.”

With pets, I am gentle but firm and it creates an environment that dogs love. I love playing with dogs and engaging their minds. I also communicate with your pet to ensure they are happy (which room they prefer, how they like to be pet, how they like to be played with) and I tell them every day that you're coming back. When I do leave, it's usually never for more than 4 hours and I have a L crate and an XL crate that your babies can stay in if needed. For sitting in your home, I do bring my 6lb chihuahua. If your dog needs to be separated from small I have a large backyard with a privacy fence on all four sides. I have a 20 y/o but there is a pet gate that keeps the house in two parts. Your pet will not interact with my pet at all. Dogs have their own room and will be allowed free roam of one half of my home. It's a large space.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
