About: I've had many cats through the years. Currently have 5 of my own including 2 sphynx. I have sadly lost a few cats over the years and I've had to take care of my sick babies so I'm not afraid to take care of sick pets or give medicine as needed. Currently I have to give one of my own cats medicine every other day for his asthma. I'm just a animal lover. Most animals like me. I've also had a couple of dogs over the years but don't currently have any but I love them. I love walking them and playing with them. I'm so looking forward to taking care of your fur babies. 😊 I work full time in Freeport but get an hour break so am available for 30 min walks or drop ins during that time. Also am available after work and most weekends. I clean litter boxes every couple of days and play with my cats daily. Make sure they always have food and water. Wet food in the morning and sometimes treats. Walks too of course. I make sure they get all the love and attention they want and need.

About: My name is Kassidy. I have had dogs my whole life. I currently work at a vet clinic and am very comfortable with all sizes of dogs. Let me walk your dog! I work full time at a vet clinic. I can easily let out your dog before work, on my lunch break and after work if needed. I currently have three dogs of my own. They have a fenced in yard. All three of my dogs are up to date on vaccines as well.

About: My boyfriend and I have always had animals in our lives. Growing up he lived on a farm with dogs, cats, goats, pigs etc. and I have had dogs and cats my whole life. We currently have 2 beautiful Great Danes, a bunch of rabbits, outside kitties, and a chinchilla! Our dogs love people, small animals, and would love a bigger dog to run around with. We would love to cuddle with your fur babies, go for walks, or just play in the fenced yard! We currently work 4 days a week leaving Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday to watch and care for your animals. My boyfriend is an early riser and I’m a night owl, so you’re pet will have plenty of time to get the care they need. We have a 2 story house with lots of room for them to lay around and have their own space if needed. We also have a large backyard that is fenced off already for our dogs.

About: Sierra has over 20 years of pet care experience between having a range of personal animals and then going into an animal career. Sierra worked as a kennel and vet assistant for a shelter for 3 years before grooming for 9 years. She still is grooming from home. Sierra is experienced in animal CPR and first aid. Very experienced with administering medications and working with nursing animals up to senior special needs animals. Sierra has had chinchillas, rabbits, birds, bearded dragons, snakes but of course dogs and cats as well. Lucas is an avid animal lover. His animal experience comes from his own personal animals as well as he has been pet sitting for a few years. He is very active and works their energy out through long walks, hiking, and playing with toys. Lucas has had bearded dragons, snakes, dogs and cats as personal animals and loved every second of it! We believe having someone do it from Rover provides a more personalized quality of care. They recieve a lot more attention and affection through private sitters than they do in large facilities. We work together so that we can accommodate everyone's wishes. We have super high expectations of care for our animals and we like to give those same standards to those we do pet care for. We are an all around animal fanatic. We love them all furry, fuzzy, hairy, feathery, and scaley. We believe when Pet parents are on vacation their pets should be too. We fully believe in spoiling and going above and beyond. We love taking dogs to the dog park and walking in all different parts of town. We have a cat room set up in our house with tons of toys and furniture to fully satisfy their needs. We believe in animals having a lot of love and affection, especially when they are already experiencing distance from their favorite people. Animals are not only something we are very passionate about but what we have revolved our lives around. Lucas is home all day and would be available to do 24 hour care. Sierra grooms Monday through Friday 8am until 12pm-1pm. If your pet care ends on the weekend and you want your pet to be groomed, arrangements can be made. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I recently got a fenced in dog run that I monitor dogs in so they can be off leash. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid.

About: I have 30 years experience and I love animals! I have taken care of various breeds and trained many of my own ! I currently own a german shorthair pointer and a bluetick coonhound. I also have two cats and two bunnies. I have completed several obedience classes over the years and have a lot of experience at the local dog parks. I have summers off because I am a teacher so I have plenty of flexible time available to work. During the summer I'm available more because I'm a teacher. During the school year I'm mostly available on weekends and after 4 pm. I can do drop in visits and occasionally do housesitting/dog sitting. My own dogs go on daily walks they also have a fenced in yard and are trained off leash on our three-quarter acre property. At your home, I am willing to follow whatever routine your dogs are used to including walks or crating if necessary.

About: I do love pets! I have owned dogs, cats, horses, and a koi pond, aquariums, birds, even lizards and a pet squirrel! My farm background has included cattle and hogs too. My current fur babies are two cats. I do miss having dogs. I've had dogs for 40 years until recently. Now I just love on other peoples dogs! I am also an accomplished gardener and can help with your plant/ garden care while away. I have been to dog obedience, classes, and can help reinforce your pets training. I don't see a place to mark it on this website but I am fine with taking care of your pet bird, pond, aquariums, including exotic fish, horses, cattle and pet pigs. Let me know your preferences on keeping you updated on your pets while away. If I'm feeding your pet, I prefer a meet and greet so you are comfortable and insist on written or texted instructions on your pet's schedule in advance so it's less stressful for your pets. If they are going outside I will want to check out their fenced yard in daylight and go over any concerns for the 5 star sitter experience I offer. Right now I'm offering to walk your pet, in home visits, but I'm not offering to spend the night, or have them here at my house. I work short days 2 days a week in medical care in Sterling, and can help you before, after or lunch breaks. The other 5 days my schedule is open to travel further and to other towns I walk 3-5 miles everyday and enjoy being outside. I'm dialing down my professional work in medicine from full time to parttime to enjoy life a bit more. That is why I am new here at Rover. I can now do more things, and that includes loving more fur babies. I have a rescue cat named Tessa, she's 15 and the most snuggly cat on the planet. We sleep together. She is tiny, but the vets says she's in excellent health with fabulous teeth and labs. My huge cat Rupert is 7 and he was born on a farm, and is hard to photograph here as he covers my whole lap and then some. He has a loud purr and loves to sit a certain way on my lap. My pond is currently healthy and some of the fish are 6 inches long. I had a 3 pound koi who I trained to swim through a hoop. I loved her. Is it possible to love a fish? I did. We have a few horses renting the pasture this year. We used to own and raise gaited horses. I love horses. I think they are good at reading people, and elegant.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a little girl my love for animals is very strong and I'm going to school to be a vet tech. I can handle any personality in dogs and love to give them all the attention in the world. I currently am not employed and I'm available every day. I take online classes for vet tech. I am very flexible with schedules and will work with you and your pets needs. I live in the little town of fulton. I have a fenced in back yard for playing and I love taking walks by the river. About: I’ve been working with animals professionally now for 3 years. I have worked in shelters, clinics, and doggy daycare and boarding as well as owned animals my whole life. I am currently going to school for dog training! I have multiple pets in my home every day. I have a dog named Zoomie, a cat named Nala, and a pet rat named Rocket. Zoomie and Nala get fed twice a while getting enrichment activities daily. Zoomie gets walks and playtime in the yard and Nala has her own leash and harness and gets to explore the yard as well. I am also going through dog training school so all day I am learning new things about different dog breeds and enrichment. About: I have never not had animals in my life. I got my first dog when I was 3 and I truly believe that was the day that I new I was always going to do something with animals. I have helped take care of my families, friends, classmates (when I was in school) and coworkers pets throughout the years. I have taken care of any animal from dogs, cats, hampsters, fish, ferrets almost any pet you can think of ive taken car of. Not only have I taken care of other people's pets but I do have my own I have an Australian Shepherd who I've had sense she was a puppy she is now 6 years old, I have owned a lot of hampster, I own a bearded dragon, I had a cat (who sadly passed away). I have experience training puppies basic tricks, obedience, and potty training. I absolutely love senior animals and have experience with senior dogs and cats. I have worked with disabled pets (blind, deaf, missing leg/s). I have worked at different dog borading and daycare jobs over the years and that is where I got more professional experience. I went to school for a year to bea pet groomer and then worked as a pet groomer for half a year then decided I wanted to do it more for just family and friends so I have experience there and that's where I learned a lot about how to handle dogs and notice different signs they show like stress for example. About: I have 22 years of pet care experience. I’ve always had dogs and cats, but I can also take care of other pets. I have had turtles, bunnies, rats, and lizards. I am currently unemployed and living with my parents. I will be available for a while until I find a full time job. I have dogsat for families before when I did have a full time job. Starting at a young age, I was responsible for feeding, walking, and cleaning up after our family dogs. By the time I was 15, I began caring for a neighbor’s dog whenever they were out of town, building early experience in pet sitting and responsibility. In the summer of 2024, I even raised a litter of puppies, which deepened my understanding of early puppy development and the importance of socialization. Although I work full time during the week, my evenings are dedicated to spending quality time with my dogs. We enjoy walking, playing, and relaxing together. I live on a spacious 2 acre property with a securely fenced in section of the yard dedicated to the dogs. The backyard is enclosed with three gates, each equipped with locks to ensure safety and prevent any clever pups from nudging them open. This setup provides a safe, open space for dogs to play, explore, and relax while giving owners peace of mind.

About: Ever since I was young, I would take care of animals. I’ve wanted to have a career working with animals for as long as I can remember. Every animal should be cared for with love and affection, from a mastiff to a guppy. They don’t get as much time on this Earth as we do, so we better make it as great as we can for them. About: I grew up on a farm. I was part of FFA (future farmers of America) and 4H growing up. I’ve cared for animals and their well being all my life. I currently work on a two week rotation. Meaning I’ll be in town for two weeks at a time, and out of town for two weeks. I’ll have weekdays from 8am to 5pm and weekends after 4pm. I have majority of the day to relax and exercise your puppies. I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of room for your pups to enjoy outside or if they are lazy butts; got a couch for them to relax on. I can also take your dogs on walks and or runs if that’s required for them.
