About: I've been around animals almost my whole life. From cats and dogs around the house when I was younger, to poultry in and around the house on my own rural properties. I've administered subcutaneous fluids to a cat, tube fed a goose, and nursed many injured chickens back to health. I love being around animals. It brings me joy and peace. I'm a self-published author who loves to travel. After returning from three months of backpacking through Europe I decided to do the same in the United States - only with my truck. I camp, stay at hotels, and pet sit full time right now, and am enjoying it immensely. I am not able to offer this service. Unfortunately, I do not have any space to house any cat, dog, or any other animals at the current time.
About: I've dog sat for several people close to me. They have entrusted me to look over their dogs - including an elderly dog - while they were out. I have administered scheduled medications, made sure the dogs were enriched and had exercise, fed and walked, and built bonds with these dogs. My career goals all involve working and caring for animals; any opportunity to provide care to your pet would give me more experience for my future. Though I have my own animals to care for, I am currently unemployed - which means I will be able to give my time to your animals to the best of my ability whenever needed. While in your home, I will give your pet the time they need to open up to me. I will not push them to come to me. I can crate pets if needed and I don't mind sleeping in the same bed as animals.
