“Sarina was awesome! She sent updates and pictures of our pups daily and they had so much fun with her! Leaving your pets is hard, but I’m so glad we had Sarina to make it easier! We are first time Rover users and she was also very helpful on how to use the app and even came for a meet and greet beforehand! We will definitely try to use her next time!”

About: As a military kid, I’ve had the unique experience of living in many different places and connecting with a wide variety of pets and their owners. I’ve helped care for dogs in all sorts of situations, whether it’s working with skittish pups who need extra patience getting in the house, or supporting friends through tough circumstances by stepping in for walks, drop-ins, or extended house sitting. What truly sets me apart is my calm, loving approach and my attentiveness to each pet’s individual needs. I’m especially vigilant when it comes to health and dietary restrictions, making sure pets stay safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s a puppy who needs structure or a senior pet who needs extra gentleness, I’m here to provide consistent care, and of course, plenty of cuddles, rubs, and love. My schedule differs week-by-week but I am part-time. So, any time on the calendar that I have free, I will be attentive. I can do house-sitting whenever needed. Morning drop-ins are also easily manageable for me. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment that keeps tails wagging and whiskers twitching. I stick closely to each pet’s routine. From feeding and walks to medications and cuddle time, to help them feel secure while you’re away. I’m always mindful of house rules (both yours and your pet’s), and I go the extra mile to make sure dietary needs, exercise, and comfort are all taken care of.

“I really don’t know where to begin but Royalty was the best dog sitter we have ever had. He handled alot of difficulties that came with a very timid, recently rescued puppy without a single complaint or a negative attitude. He will be the person my wife and I call first from now on when we travel. Can’t boat on him enough!”

“We are so grateful for Katie! She always takes such good care of our dog. It’s so nice having someone who we trust take care of our little boy while we’re not there. She’s the best and our boy loves her!”

“Bethany took wonderful care of our dog! We were so grateful to have someone stay in our home. Our dog has a lot of anxiety and doesn’t like to be boarded.”

“Chris and his daughters did an excellent job taking care of our zoo during a week long trip and gave us peace of mind that is hard to put a price on. I knew I had chosen the right sitter when he asked if he could come by before our trip, meet the animals, learn our routines, and take his own notes. I was very fortunate that Chris and his family just happen to be one of the nearest Rover sitters in our area. Not only did they provide our dogs with the same level of care we do everyday, but they also fed our tortoises and bearded dragons as well. Not every dog sitter is cool with reptiles, but Chris and his daughters were enthusiastic about the opportunity. I couldn’t recommend a pet sitter more highly!”

“Meredith was so sweet and took great care of my dog while I was on vacation! She sent me lots of pics and updates and I know she was in very good hands! Thank you!!”

“Gabe was awesome and took great care of my Nala girl as well as my home during my last minute trip. I received multiple check-ins with pictures daily that really added to my peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“Mia is incredible!! Not only is she the sweetest, but my dogs adore her! She played with them and was attentive to their needs. She also went above and beyond to help me with a last minute dog emergency. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’m an animal lover and enthusiast who has grown up taking care of all types of pets and worked in the veterinary medicine industry since I was 17 years old. I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds, and because of my job I am comfortable administering medication of all types, including injections. I’m also very willing to work with the more “troublesome” pets. I’m currently in school getting my veterinary technician certification and need help making some extra money on the side. I hope you consider me to take care of and love your fur babies❤️ I currently work part time at a vet clinic and my Classes are usually done by early afternoon so I will have more than enough time to take care of your fur babies as needed. With my working background I am comfortable with any food restrictions, medications, walking, crating, and care your pet may need to be happy and comfortable. I will make sure to give meds, food, and specific care instructions extra attention as needed.

About: I have always been an animal lover and have worked with all kinds of animals over the years. This includes dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and more! I’ve walked and pet sat dogs all over my neighborhood growing up. I currently volunteer at my local humane society when I have time where I walk and play with the shelter animals to ensure they get all the love they deserve. I love spending time with animals and I guarantee I will take the best care of your fur babies like they are my own. I really want a dog of my own but I can’t take on the financial burden as a working college student, which is why I chose to start working on Rover! Pet care works with my weekly routine because I am a student with most of my classes online. This gives me the flexibility to come and visit pets at various times and for either shorter or longer periods. I like to be active and move my body every day, so dog walking is a great way to do that. I make sure they are comfortable and happy. It can be stressful for them when their family is gone, so it is good to keep them exercised, occupied and fed. All dogs have different temperaments and energy levels, so I curate my care to fit their needs best. Also, if there are any indications of abnormal behavior or discomfort I will alert the owner asap. Safety and Comfort are a big priority for me.

“Emily was excellent. She kept in touch to let me know that my babies were doing well and I really appreciated all of the photos. The house was immaculate when we arrived home. She did everything we asked her to do and more. I would not hesitate at all to recommend her (as long as it does not interfere with my travel plans :)) at all. I fully intend to employ Emily in the future to care for my babies.”

“Tracy is the best pet sitter ever! She and her husband agreed to take care of my dogs Skar and Andy. Although Skar is a very territorial dog and not very friendly with new people. Tracy gave him all the love to earn his trust! Andy on the other hand, is a very loving dog and found a lot of love in Tracy! If you are thinking about hiring someone to care for your pets, Tracy is the perfect person you can trust!”

“Carley was wonderful watching our dogs! Our dogs are normally stressed when we go on trips, but they were very relaxed when we came back with Carley staying with them. She sent great pictures and really showered love on them. ?”

“Lexi was wonderful with communication and keeping me informed about her stay with my pup. We appreciated her flexibility and attention.”

About: I have ten years of experience caring for animals in shelters, as well as walking and caring for them locally (e.g. Austrian Animal Welfare Association; Austin Animal Shelter). I want the pets to always feel comfortable, that they have enough exercise and cuddles. I want your pet to be well and safe in your absence. Back in Austria, I cared for my own two cats, my dog and a horse. In February 2023, my dog and I moved from Austria, where I spent 9 years of my life and finished school. I plan to establish a dog care business here. I offer in-house sitting during your holidays, so your pets can enjoy life in their familiar environment. I am very flexible timewise. Please tell me your needs. I can offer both sitting in your house over night (e.g., on your vacation) and short-term sitting such as going to walks. I want to make sure that you feel comfortable. I will send you updates and fotos regularly. You can contact me any time during pet care.

About: I have lived with both cats and dogs my entire life and have helped care for them at all stages of their lives. I have cared for very young puppies and kittens and even old ones to their final days. I have even cared for those with quite the attatude or ones with medical issues. I am currently working part-time so if you need me for an extended period of time, then there is a good chance I can do that for you. I do prefer day time schedules but am willing to occasionally stay overnight if requested. How I care for your pets is entirely up to you and whatever routine you have for them. From when they are fed, how much they are fed, to when they need to go outside or anything else needed. You know your pet better than I do.
