I have years of experience as a care taker for children & the elderly, but if I'm being honest I much prefer the company of pets over people! I've fostered feral cats and rescued runaway dogs. I have a daughter (3 years old now) who loves animals so much and gets so excited every time she gets to meet a doggie or kitty, so she truly loves coming along with me for these jobs! I always take special care to leave it cleaner than I found it and tidy up any messes as needed. A clean home is a happy home! Bedding in the crate needs to be laundered or litter box needs to be cleaned out? No problem! I can also water plants, take in the mail, put trash cans out, pickup packages from the porch, load the dishwasher or whatever may be needed! At our home we consider ourselves “last owners” animals come to us to live out the rest of their lives, comfortable and loved. We’ve been by the side of 6 rescue birds, a few kittens and one chameleon to watch them cross over the rainbow bridge, and complete their journey. Between Gage (my husband) and I we have 10 cats (willow, meadow, sushi, pumpkin, chai, jenny, lucifer, salem, peggy & naruto) 5 birds (blanca, bleezy, grim, puffer & mongo bongo - she’s a 46 year old scarlett macaw! - ) 1 dog, (chief) 1 chameleon (pascal) and 1 scalata tortoise (torchy) ! we are obviously big animal lovers!!
