About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have cared for a wide variety of breeds, ages, and sizes. My family has a long history of rescuing dogs from shelters—especially those who struggled to find homes due to trauma, reactivity, or anxiety. Both kids adore dogs and have grown up understanding pet body language and boundaries. While i do ask that your dog be kid-friendly, i also make sure our children respect each dog’s comfort level and personal space. About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. I am willing to keep special needs pets and am able to give medication. I am open to discussing any special requirements your pet might have. I live at home with my mom and this is my only job. I am free to give your pet all the love and attention they need. I have a lead in our yard for potty time and live near a dog park for fun and exercise. We will take walks, having brushing time to bond, and have lots of play time. I do have a dog kennel available inside and will have food and water bowls for your pup. We do have cats, so please make sure your dog is cat friendly.

About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. I have two large breed dogs, (Great Pyrenees and a Golden Retriever) that are very friendly! Both of my dogs are up to date on their vaccinations, including flea and tick. Dogs are allowed on furniture and the bed. I spend a lot of time with my dogs playing outside and inside. I can accommodate crate training if needed.

Patty enjoyed her day with Dustin and the rest of the pups. She loves meeting new people and pups but can be a bit shy and clinging at first but it was clear from the photos that Dustin provided that she was happy and content while we were away. She isn't used to being around several dogs and Dustin did a great job getting her settled in. She loves laying in the sun and roaming around grassy areas and Dustin's yard was like a big wonderful park for her where she could be off leash and enjoy the outdoors and running. We will absolutely be taking Patty back for just play time with other pups to make sure she stays socialized. She came home tired and happy and it was clear she was very well cared for.
