“Wow what a wonderful experience we just had with Barbara! She is an amazing sitter - so attentive and caring. My two pugs can be a little needy and one is very skittish but they were so happy and relaxed when I picked them up. Barbara was always very quick to respond to all questions prior to their stay. And during their stay, she sent lots of pics. I can’t recommend her highly enough!!”

Sara O.

“Sara went above and beyond with having Rumi with her for a day of doggy care before he will stay with her for a week while I travel. She sent photos and videos of him having a blast playing in her lovely yards and let me know how his day was knowing it was the first time he was away from me. I can go away knowing Rumi will get the level of attention, exercise and love that he needs in a great environment.”

Vicky A.

“Vicky did a great job feeding and watching my two puppers so we could take our youngest to a baseball game in Phoenix for his birthday. Thank you for taking care of them for us!”

Lesley B.

“This was my first time using Rover and I had a great experience. Lesley was amazing with Nova and sent me photos of her throughout the day. She was also flexible with my early drop off time. Thank you!”

Adrian W.

“I think Adrian and Sophie are do whisperers. They know how to keep dog’s comfortable and engaged. Our Winnie enjoyed all her time with them. Thanks Adrian and Sophie!”

Melissa B.

“Melissa is great! I feel very comfortable with her caring for Barend my senior pup.”

Pamela H.

“Miss Mo loves to spend the day with Pam and her pups. Mo can be a little anxious outside her comfort zone but Pam provides a fun, safe environment which Mo took to immediately. Very happy that we’ve found an option for daycare like Pam.”

Jacob L.

“Jacob was super kind and welcoming to my sort-of-nervous pup. We did a meet-and-greet first to make sure she was comfortable and got along with his pup. He asked great questions, and my pup liked him right away. I feel really comfortable leaving her in his care and look forward to future doggy day care sessions. Thanks, Jacob!”

About: I have grown up with Cats and Dogs. I have a yellow lab back home in California and I have a shy cat who stays in my room. I love taking dogs on walks and giving animals the best care they need. I am currently studying to be an elementary school teacher. I have classes 3 times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for a couple hours. I have a fenced yard. I will take the dogs on daily walks and spend time with them. They will receive love and amazing care.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10. I have a dog at home that is mine and who I miss dearly! Growing up I would pet sit and walk my neighbors and friends dogs frequently before my parents let me get my own. I take care of animals like they’re my own. I’m currently a student-athlete and have some time on my hands to spend taking care of dogs! Weekends are free for me and I’m usually home from class by 12. I usually don’t have practice on the weekends so I have some time to take care of pets. I have no pets right now and will be able to spend all of my time on yours! I live in an apartment but have a balcony and grass right outside. I live in a neighborhood that is great for dog walking.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was little and currently have two senior yorkies a couple weeks out of the month (they go up to Phoenix every other week) and 6 chickens-which are in their own separate enclosure and run in my side yard. I work remotely part time and am outside tending to my animals and garden every day. I’m never gone longer than a few hours at a time so they will get spoiled with attention. I just moved to Tucson recently and would love to have some more fur balls to snuggle and play with. My two are senior citizens so they mostly sleep all day when I have them. I have a very pet friendly and super safe enclosed yard but always supervise because my one yorkie is 5lbs so they will never be out alone. I am experienced with giving meds and caring for senior animals. I farm sit on occasion too so I also have experience with chickens, goats, mini horses, and donkeys. I can take 2 possibly 3 dogs from the same family but will only take one family at a time. Please reach out so we can schedule a meet and greet prior to boarding-can’t wait to meet your fur balls! I work part time and work from home so I’m never gone more than 3hrs to run errands. My dogs are elderly and they can’t hold it that long anymore. My yard is fully fenced 6’ all around and has plenty of space to run around and play. I also don’t use chemicals as I organic garden.

“Max had an awesome time. with his new best friend Toph. Laurel & her boyfriend were great I was provided pics & updates throughout the day. I most highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter. All A's....”

Julie W.
“It's like a spa day for animals... Julie has always been around animals, growing up on a farm with horses. Over the years besides the mandatory dogs and cats, she has had fish, a bearded dragon, a parrot, canaries, lizards and even a hawk for two days... Dogs seem to be the specialty however, as they form an immediate bond with her. And why not... they are treated like family; toys, treats and a late bedtime if desired. Your pets will love it at Julie's place. And yes, they will go home with you without a fuss as long as you promise to bring them back.”

“Accommodated a last minute request to watch our baby pup! Would book again”

Tarina A.
“Tarina has always had a true love for dogs. As her oldest husky just passed away at the age of 16, I think that the ability to spend time with and take care of dogs will be an amazing experience for her. She has grown up around 4 dogs who have all played a major role in her life and upbringing, allowing her to have the utmost respect, care and love for K9s. I have seen her love and care for multiple dogs and she has done an amazing job taking care of them. Tarina is attentive and knowledgeable to the needs of K9s- whether it be on a walk and their feet are too hot on the Arizona pavement or remembering when different dogs eat to knowing what a dog is trying to communicate. She would be a great candidate for Rover.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs basically my entire life. Throughout my childhood, I was raised with and helped take care of two dogs that I considered to be my best and most loyal companions. After I moved away for college, I struggled a lot without them so I decided to get a puppy of my own! This past year has taught me a lot about raising a puppy and with my past experiences raising my dogs back home, I feel well versed in sitting dogs of all ages. I am currently taking my classes online this semester as well as working from home on my own schedule. This means that your fur baby will always be supervised and prioritized! Your fur baby will have my friendly pup to keep them company. She is a year old German Shepard/Australian Kelpie/Husky named Bear who LOVES playing with other dogs. My yard is unfenced unfortunately since it is shared with other people in my townhome community so a leash may be needed when going potty according to your fur baby’s training level. There is a park that I take Bear to down the street from where I live to play if you are comfortable with the idea of me taking your pup out. I am willing to accommodate to your needs and preferences on how you want me to care for your fur baby:)

About: Pet sitting just kind of fell into my lap as a teenager. I loved all animals and people usually looked to me to care for pets when they couldn’t. I’m a stay at home mom and have 2 small dogs in home, one being a senior dog. I do leave occasionally for outings that usually don’t last more than an hour or 2. I do not have a fenced in yard so I do a walk the dogs around my community. I have 2 small children so at this time I can only take small dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, ferrets, Guinea pigs. I love to provide pictures/FaceTimes for you so you know your fur baby is in the best place possible.

About: I have been dog sitting and walking for two years. I also have three cats at home so I am more than happy to care for kitties as well! I am the designated pet caregiver of my family! :) I am currently a full-time student at the University of Arizona, so my availability is dependent on classes I am taking. Send me a message and we can discuss availability! I am generally very open! I have a large yard surrounded by a brick wall and I also have a porch. I have an Australian Shepard and Chihuahua that stay outside and I also have three indoor cats. I am able to keep pets inside if that is preferred and they are allowed on furniture as well :)

“Melissa was absolutely amazing!!! We came to the coast from Idaho, and of course had to bring our Say-D along. My four year old is an aqaurium fanatic, and we HAD to see the aqaurium in Newport before we left to return home. We contacted Melissa very last minute, because our original plans for her, had fallen through. She was beyond accommodating to both my son and I, as well as our buddy Say-D. We received great updates, and in all updates and photos, my little pup was relaxed, or having fun, all while my son got to see the Oregon coast Aqaurium! I am beyond grateful for Melissa, as well as this network to obtain great care for our dog especially while not being from here. I will be using this site, as well as contacting Melissa again when we come back through with our little shadow in tow!!!”
