About: I've been working with, training, and raising dogs since I can remember. I am a pro with housebreaking, leash training, and I provide specialized training for hearing ear and/or service dogs. I do very well with canine behavioral skills. Dogs I work with are known for obedience, not barking (unless necessary), manners, crosswalk etiquette, public etiquette, business etiquette (for service dogs). The past several decades I have been working and training dogs for families. Yes I find objectives a challenge and challenges are my sneer. My way of training is with use of opurant conditioning. With real time sequences to familiarize the animal and make it fun to learn. So when trained they smile not look like a caged animal. I am 55 my energy is much like a husky, I love to go for long walks, bike rides, swimming, and train during my sessions. While they are in a happy zone. So if you got a hyper fur-baby you'll like my skills. They'll love the adventures. I'm a natural with dogs wether you're needing basics or advanced tricks. I typically bond with, then walk, and engage high energy play time with each session. I also provide training services as well should you need someone that can handle high energy dogs or puppy. I care for fur-babies as if they are mine. I can provide video and photographs, and can record live video for all services. This is to assure your satisfaction as well as evaluating your fur-baby's performance during our sessions. I can provide overnight stays in my home. But I have dogs of my own so a meet and greet is the requirement. My overnight stays get vip treatment walks, dog parks, even a trip for a pup cup on special occasions. My day care option is for a training session or walk among the cool climate of our mountains its a 2 hr day care adventure, I also do Rattlesnake Avoidance Training in this session as well We also use Artificial Intelligence which helps our training and evaluate the performance. From 6a to 7p mon through friday. Weekends are negotiable. I offer walk sessions. I will wear out energy, structured for obedience training, OB Objective is on leash and off leash training, control excessive barking, basically a 1 on 1 session with your dog where the ultimate goal of obedience like a service dog. Our VIP Stays get pampered breakfast served at 6 am, morning walk by 7a supper at 6pm evening walk at 7p. Followed by a brush fur out before bedtime. As a added reward some stays even get to go get a pup cup. Yes DQ. Your fur-baby's stay will have video and daily reports of activities of the previous days. Who better to work with animals than a farmer? I spent my childhood on a farm raising hunting and security dogs, chickens, hogs, and horses. Raised by my Grandfather who was a Green Beret and trained police dogs after WWII. Kennels were the bane of my early years so yes I have housebroken many litters as well as trained a few to aid clients with disabilities. I am quiet, patient, confident I trust dogs better than people, You can tell a lot about a person when you see them with a dog view my pics my 3 will tell you. About: Hello- My name is Patricia and I have 40+ years experience caring for pets. I currently have a chihuahua, African Grey parrot and a horse, so my animal care experience is vast! ! I have fostered dogs and kittens for the Humane Society and PACC. I have over an acre of securely fenced area for your pooch to run and play. I am semi-retired and only work a few hours per week as a GI RN so have lots of time at home to spend with your beloved pet. I am able to competently administer oral meds, injections, sub q infusions and can provide first aid care in case of an unexpected pet emergency. I have dog sat for quite a few pups and have one of my own, I can provide all of the basic needs and give them all the love that they deserve. I have a medium sized crate for pup parents who request it, I also have a very friendly, playful pup who would love to keep your baby company. My pup seems so much happier being with him than at home alone when I have long workdays. I'm so grateful to him and his wife for all they do for us working animal moms and Dads!!
