About: Hi! I’m 25 years old and a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your furry (or feathered!) family member needs a walk, a quick drop-in visit, overnight care, or extended sitting, you can count on me to provide reliable, loving care while you’re away. I currently have an Australian Shepherd mix and a pet bird, so I’m experienced with both dogs and exotic pets. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I understand that every animal has unique needs and routines. I’m also experienced and confident in administering medications, whether that means pills, liquid medications, or following specific care instructions to keep your pet healthy and comfortable. I start and end each day caring for my own babies, an aussie mix and a quaker 🦜 making sure they receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, attention, and love. Because I’m already committed to a structured pet care routine, I’m able to easily incorporate walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, medication administration, and overnight stays for my clients’ pets. I understand how important consistency is for animals, so I make it a priority to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Whether it’s an energetic puppy that needs extra playtime, a senior pet requiring medication, or a shy cat that just needs some quiet companionship, I’m happy to provide personalized care that helps your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: I love cats and dogs, and have had cats most of my adult life. I believe animals are truly family members and should be treated with gentleness and respecting their nature. I have no problem following detailed instructions, and every visit I take pics to show you your fur baby is being well cared for! I am free most mornings before 8:30am and in the evenings after 6pm. On weekends I have more flexibility in my schedule. I’ll be happy to work with you on whatever your scheduling needs are! If a client discusses a list of instructions, I’ll do my best to follow them to the letter. Otherwise, I’ll follow what to me is ideal care for an animal: ensuring they have clean and fresh water, proper food, cleaning litter boxes or taking a dog out for a walk as needed, and spending a little time cuddling and playing (respecting how shy they might be!). If a pet is too shy to play, sometimes I’ll just spend a few minutes sitting on the floor and talking to them in a soothing voice so they can get used to my presence as someone who is friendly. If approved beforehand, I can even bring (or use your own) a few treats! I may also reach out to you if I see something that I think needs addressing (not enough food or litter, a pet seeming lethargic or coughing excessively etc.). If that happens, I’ll discuss with you how you want to handle it. In case of illness, I take my own cats to Wentworth Animal Hospital so, for example, if I saw your cat seemed to be vomiting excessively, if you approved it I would have no problem taking them in for a walk-in and working out the payment and a reasonable rate with you over the phone. The most important thing is to ensure that your fur baby is given the best care possible. :-)

About: I’ve had dogs in my house my entire life. I absolutely love taking care of them! I’ve also always helped my friends taking care of their dogs and have dog sit many different breeds. I personally have owned beagles, Labradors, and golden retrievers. With my last two dogs I’ve personally been the one taking care of them mostly all the way from 8 weeks old. I absolutely love taking care of dogs and would love taking care of any breeds! I’m currently a student at University of North Carolina Wilmington. I would be available Tuesdays 12-5, Wednesdays 2-5, Thursdays 12-7, Fridays 1-7, and anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. I currently cannot take care of any dogs in my home. I am living in an on campus apartment and we are not allowed to have pets.

About: Ive been around pets all my life! I started raising dogs when I was 11 and have helped friends and nieghbors with their dogs and cats since I was 15. Tasks have ranged from small check-ins with pets, to staying overnight to keep them company. Right now I work at a local food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sundays are also a busy day for me, but I can be very flexible and move times around with enough notice. I have one black short haired cat that I spend most of my time with. She stays indoors, but I let her come out on my back deck to get some air and a better view of the birds and chipmunks she always has beef with. She's the most hyperactive and persnicity cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, so I'm experienced with cats who have their own ways of playing.

About: I’ve had my own pets for over 40 years. They were my babies and I cared for them as such!! They are my heart’s passion. I’m now a healthy strong retired woman who has loved to help family and friends pet sit their 4 legged babies. So I’m opening myself up to others!! I have a safe place to walk animals by my condo and parents with a beautiful back yard to also take them to adventure. It’s just me in my house so it’s clean, safe, simple sweet and quiet atmosphere.

About: I've always loved being around animals, I've been lucky enough to care for a cat of my own, Finley, and our big golden retriever, Loui. I love to take him on walks showing him there's more to life than the backyard. Most of all, there's nothing better than coming home to show some love to my furballs after a long day. By integrating scheduled feeding and potty breaks first thing in the morning and evening. Along with short play sessions or walks. Then, using evening time for quick clean-ups, removing any filth from the day. and most importantly, lots of love and undivided attention.
