“Sasha was great. Would totally hire again. Good communication and keep our fur baby happy even though she was home sick and not use to being around larger dogs. Lots of attention as given.”

“Ashleigh’s level of care was amazing. She sent so many pictures while we were away and kept us informed often on how our dogs’ days were going. The way she described each of our dogs’ personalities and daily habits matched perfectly to how they are at home which reassured me that our dogs felt comfortable and at ease in her home. Will absolutely be using Ashleigh again without hesitation.”

“Excellent care and attentive! Nicole very much loves pets and provided such good care for our cat in her lovely home while we were gone all week. We loved getting updates and photos! Stinger felt right at home there!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my dog since I was 7 years old. Recently I started taking care of my neighbor’s dog as well. They rely on me to walk and feed their dog when they go on vacation. I love spending time with dogs and cats!!!! I am currently on summer vacation so I am available any day of the week. This will change once school starts, then I will be available after 4pm. I have a fenced yard, one dog and one cat to keep your fur friend company. If needed I can keep them away from each other.

“Nadine was the perfect choice for boarding our sensitive pup Meera. I’m super picky about who I leave Meera with because she can be temperamental (either super chill or super anxious), but Nadine handled her like a pro and will be my top choice when we return to the Iowa area. She updated us with pictures, and I’ve never seen Meera look so comfortable in someone else’s home before. Nadine was able to handle Meera’s medication schedule, noise phobias, and odd eating habits. I have no reservations about leaving Meera with Nadine again, highly recommend!”

“Lynne made our 1st Rover experience go so smoothly! Bella absolutely loved staying with her while we were on vacation. She was great at communicating and sending updates to make our experience stress free. Bella felt right at home with being able to snuggle on the couch and look out the window. We would definitely recommend Lynne!”

“Shannon and her family were so amazing with our pups! We got daily updates with pictures of them enjoying their time away from home. Definitely would recommend for anyone and will return the next time we someone to watch our pups!”

About: I have two dogs and two cats of my own that I work hard to take excellent care of. My dogs enjoys daily walks and play time. I have cared for family and friends’ pets in my home and look forward to caring for yours. I am a teacher, working full time during the week. During the summer months I work part time during the month of July but am otherwise available during June July and August. I have a fenced in yard and enjoy taking dogs on walks around my neighborhood. I keep my own pets on a routine with feeding schedule and walking.

About: My parents bred and raised dogs. I am very familiar with dog cares. I was involved in minor puppy disobedience training. We have had dogs almost our entire adult lives. We have had several and been through care for dogs of all ages. We can provide medications. We are a couple with 1 late teenage son still in the home. We all love animals. Wife works full time outside of the home. Husband works 2-3 half days a week outside of the home. We are able to provide loving care most of the time and bathroom breaks up to max of 4-5 hours apart, on the days we are both working. Our own fur family contains a 45 pound dog and 2 cats. Our dog loves other dogs and cats. He wants to be any cats friend, when they will let him. One cat is standoffish and will leave visitors alone and one will be their friend after a couple of hours. Our yard is unfenced so we provide leashed outings. We live near a nice area for walking and can transport to a local dog park for more unrestrained fun.

About: My name is Brittany, I have recently transitioned to working from home. I have a very flexible schedule, which means that I have open availability for walks or drop-ins and will be able to be with your dogs the entire time they are in my care! While I have just started out on Rover, I am still an experienced animal caretaker. Previously I have worked with horses, dog sat in college as well as for family and friends. I treat all animals just like they are apart of my family, this means they sleep in the bed, are allowed on furniture, and are given plenty of love and affection. My dogs and I also love to go on outings to the park, hikes, biking, find water to play in, as well as walks around the neighborhood. I have experience with dogs of almost any size and would be happy to welcome your dog to my family while you are away. I work from home, so I have open availability. This means I can do walks or drop-ins whenever needed. If your dog is in my care while being boarded, at doggy daycare, or house-sitting, I will be with them the entire time! I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a long line to allow your dog freedom to play in the yard. In my home we have rest breaks around meal times, and dogs will be separated for meals and to have personal time to themselves. I do have kennels if your dog prefers to sleep in a kennel while in my care. But my two German Shepherds love other dogs and would be happy to invite other dogs into our home. In a client's home I will go off what their schedule is so they have their normal day. I will treat your home just as my own and will leave it in just as good if not better condition than what I found it.
