About: I have had cats and dogs and cared for them since I was old enough to, about 20 years. I have done a good amount of pet sitting and walking. I volunteered for a couple summers at my local veterinarian office. I get along very well with animals and they always like me. I love the outdoors and I love to walk around with dogs. I work in film in Northern NM and would love to do this as a job during slower months, such as the winters. I especially understand that work schedules can get in the way of you being with your beloved pets and the need for quality pet care. I often have a more open schedule than many to work around all your needs! I would love the opportunity to care for and spend time with your fur baby! I am currently on a hiatus from the film industry because of slowdowns, so I have more time than many to watch your fur babies! To care for pets in my home or other's homes I will feed them, play with them, brush them, cleanout litter box where applicable. Walk them if applicable.

“Brittany was everything we could have wished for and more! Our cat absolutely adored her and we loved how well she communicated with us and gave us daily updates. We would book Brittany again in a heartbeat and recommend her to everyone ❤️”

“Susan went above and beyond. I’m so happy I found her and I’ll definitely use her in the future. Both cats looked really happy in the pictures she sent too! I appreciate everything she did for us. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been around and had pets my whole life. My personal animals are very well loved and cared for. I’m committed to sharing the same attention, love, & quality care that I have for my furry children for yours as well. Currently I’m available 6am-1pm Sunday through Thursday and Fridays and Saturdays I’m available all day. I have my other job I do during the evenings. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime! I am dedicated to the meticulous needs your pet may need whether that be medication, water, attention, exercise, special dietary needs, treats, pup cups, etc. Whatever the case may be your pet is special and I’m committed to whatever they might need.

About: My family has always had pets so I'm comfortable with everything from cats and dogs to turtles and chickens. Young, old, wild, lazy, medicated, need to be medicated, I've dealt with it all. I've babysat and petsat for a variety of people off the books over the years and haven't had any complaints or issues. I like to send update photos to pet parents since I know leaving the babies with strangers can be a stressful experience. I work at the Lab Monday - Friday, 7-4ish. Otherwise, I'm open for business. Adjustments to my 4 o'clock time can be made with advanced warning. I can drop in or hang out as needed. Let me know. Santa Fe residents: I work at the Lab Monday - Friday, 7-4ish. That is a long stretch when including commute. If your pet needs to be let out for potty breaks or medication during weekdays, please keep this in mind. Like I said I can make adjustments with enough warning. I leave my availability as it is because I occasionally have a client in Los Alamos/White Rock that I can accommodate easier. Rover simply doesn't allow that kind of distinction on the basic settings so I try to be up front here. I can't board unfortunately but I can hang out on your home turf. This tends to be most comfortable for your pet anyway. I can drop in or stay the night, both are fine with me.

“Was super nice and I knew my pet was in great hands. Consistently provide feedback when ever we asked and always gave extra updates too which was super helpful and made us feel a lot better. The best thing overall was the puppy report card”

“Grace was a fantastic sitter and took wonderful care of my sweet Clementine! Having reliable care for my baby while I’m gone is a huge concern and with Grace at the helm I was able to enjoy my time away and know Clem had everything she needed and more. I can’t recommend Grace enough.”

About: Growing up and not having pets only made me love them even more as an adult! I have pet sat for many friends, including overnight and enjoy it each time. It’s like spoiling your nieces and nephews but in furry form. Pet care is just a bonus for me, it allows me to love on furry friends, as I do not have any myself. Simply because my housing does not allow it. Weekends are ideal but if it’s stopping by and checking in in the morning or evening, I am absolutely available! The great thing about animals is they can sense the kind of person you are and if they like you or not. Respecting a pets space is just as important as a humans space. I’m like their aunt, I’d spoil them with walks, pets, treats and lots of cuddles!

About: When I was 7, I helped train my cousins' dog, and from that moment on, I’ve been passionate about working with animals. I've cared for my family dog for the past 16 years, gaining experience with everything from daily walks to gentle training. Over the years, I’ve helped countless friends and relatives with their dogs, whether it’s house-sitting, basic obedience, or just giving them lots of affection. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’d love the chance to spend more time around pups, giving them the love, snuggles, and care they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work a flexible schedule, which means I can offer consistent attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Whether it’s early morning snuggles, midday strolls, or evening check-ins, I make sure your pet feels loved and cared for as part of my daily rhythm. When caring for pets in your home, I always prioritize your pet’s comfort and routine. I respect your space, follow your instructions closely, and take time to build trust with your pet so they feel safe and relaxed. I’m attentive to their body language, stick to feeding and potty schedules, and double-check doors, gates, and leashes to ensure they’re secure and happy at all times.

About: I am a devoted life-long dog-owner and dog-lover. I have grown up with dogs and couldn't imagine life without them. I am a bona fide "dog person," as any of my friends will tell you. Days with dogs include arroyo walks, neighborhood walks, trips to local parks and dog parks, hiking excursions and swims in the river and mountain creeks. We love to get up in the mountains and explore and run on all the local trails. I am happy to accommodate whatever your dog needs and likes. I love my pups and I know I will love yours too. I look forward to getting to care for your precious four-legged. Thank you for the opportunity! Your pups will be in the best of hands.

About: I am an avid pet-loving White Bear Lake local who would love to watch your pet & house-sit while you are away. I do dog walking, dog and cat sitting, and house sitting as needed at clients homes. Pet care has been a crucial part of my early twenties lifestyle. I have always been an animal lover, but cannot own a pet myself due to where I live. If I am able to watch someone's furry friends, it makes my day! I keep pets food schedules as close to what they are used to as possible, as well as stay overnight, play with them, and take them on walks. I love to explore my clients backyard when I am pet sitting, whether that be a trail to follow, a pond to walk around, or a neighborhood to admire. I am an active runner, so if your pet likes to run, we can certaintly hit the road and get out some energy! I am always mindful of traffic and keep pets on their leash, unless specific directions are given. We will go on a great adventure, but safety is my top priority.

About: While I have had dogs my whole life, I have also worked in a pet boarding facility. I have helped dogs of all ages, with differing needs. I want to help pets feel safe, happy and make sure their needs are met, whether it’s getting energy out through exercise or if it’s calming down their anxiety. My schedule as a nurse can be demanding, I am also in school. However I do have time throughout the week and weekends to help your fur babies! I am meticulous by nature and very vigilant. I will ensure your pets are safe and all their needs are met. I will help tidy any of their messes and ensure they are loved on, even more so if they are anxious.

“Very happy with the time Amanda took with Peter. Her experience with animals was made very clear with the interactions between her and Peter. Peter is very shy around new people oftentimes, not the case with Amanda. Amanda went above and beyond what I expected and I will definitely be using her services in the future!”

About: Lifelong compassionate caregiver of all ages and sizes. Detail-oriented, patient homebody with time to care and land to roam. Queer folks and women first but all welcome! 🌈🐾 I work part-time remote. My schedule bends to the needs of your pets. I do not board pets from different households at the same time. Fenced, secure yard; dog-proof everything indoors; separate rooms if needed, otherwise plenty of clean, cozy common area. Frequent yard time and walks. Experienced with senior care, medications (including injections), patience for puppies, and love for all canines!

About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I work part-time and online, and can fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. I'm an early riser and love to be outdoors in any weather so you never have to worry that your pet's schedule will be interrupted. Your home is as important to me as your animal family and both will receive loving care and attention from me. I've cared for many homes in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and have excellent references from clients, neighbors and friends to share.

About: Working at Chicago Dog Runner 24 years ago started my journey towards providing the most exceptional pet care. Since moving out of the city, I’ve expanded my sitting to include chickens, donkeys, ducks, and more! I’ve had lots of puppy and senior dog/cat experience as well. Also, I joined Therapaws Michigan almost 10 years ago, helping board and train therapy animals and it has been the absolute best experience. Being an EMT, I understand the importance of timely medication administration and can give injections as well as oral/topical medications. I take pride in communication and photo ops! Having special needs animals in my life, I take care in educating myself with pets behavioral and health concerns and am always open to any conversation and adjustments regarding your pet’s care. Working from home I have a very flexible schedule and can follow your pet routine as required. I’m able to adapt and change scheduling as needed. I have a reliable pet friendly vehicle with a ramp for senior pup access. I believe keeping your pet’s schedule consistent is important and helps keep them comfortable and happy while you’re away. Please share details about feeding and/or walking/potty times, I am happy to accommodate.

Susannah B.
“Susannah is the epitome of a kind, personable, lover of all creatures. Her calm nature makes everyone feel welcomed and cared for and she has a knack for connecting with animals big and small. She's spent ample time with our dog, Leon, and he still gets ridiculously excited if he sees her or if we even just say her name. Having volunteered doing relief work in various places around the globe, she also worked as a babysitter and lifeguard to put herself through college, then turned her attention to tending to plants, both as a farmer and landscape designer. Paying attention to others is her specialty. She also happens to be very punctual, trustworthy, and more than fair in her interactions with people. Every dog and their owner should be so lucky as to have Susannah take care of them. We can't recommend her highly enough.”

Lisel F.
“Lisel cared lovingly for my dog and cat, providing many pets, snuggles and walks. She is thoughtful, conscience, and committed. She followed my requests to a tee and provided my furry friends with loving attention.”

Abigail S.
“Abbie is such a loving soul. From the moment I met her, I knew that she would be great at taking care of our pups and our cat. From her videos (and my security camera too), I can tell that they love her. She feeds them and takes them on walks (or hikes!), and she does it regardless whether it's hot, frigid cold, or nasty and rainy. She also takes care of our home just the way I would: wiping off paws and taking shoes off before coming in. Our cat is quite a recluse, but Abbie makes sure he is loved, fed, and stays inside. On a personal note, Abbie is always punctual and so friendly in each interaction I have with her. She puts me at ease, and I trust her with our home. In fact, she's done some housesitting for us too! I could not praise her more!”

Lily E.
“Lily has watched our dogs in our home. Not only is she reliable and trustworthy, it is obvious she loves animals and treats them with great care. One of our dogs is older and Lily understood the importance of the medicine she needs - she mentioned that she too had an older dog growing up. Our girls need lots of attention and walks and Lily provided that for them. Tupelo and Honey absolutely adore Lily and she always kept us updated on their time together by sending pictures. I can honestly say that Lily is a fantastic dog sitter!”
