“Becka is a rescued dog, so afraid of everybody. Not with Robert and Holly, she was smiling when I picked her up. I am so grateful of how nice they were with her. So, happy yo have them to help me with my beloved dog!”

“Brittany was cheerful and friendly, and seemed to enjoy caring for my dogs. She was also responsive in letting me know how they were doing and what was going on. I’ll definitely use her again hen I need a dog sitter.”

“Kimberly was very patient with Rio, who was very intimidated by her beautiful, big Ridgebacks. Kimberly seemed very willing to let them get acquainted slowly, but Rio was shy and needs more experience with other dogs. Kimberly followed all my instructions for feeding and treats. She has a big yard and a large shaded patio for the dogs. They are able to also go into a big enclosed garage- like space to get out of the heat or cold.”

“Daycare with James was awesome! My dog Addie was very comfortable at his house and I could tell she really enjoyed being around him. James was quick to respond to any of my questions and I will definitely be booking him for daycare again soon!”

“Would recommend Onrae as a sitter. Onyx came back happy. He was safe and taken care of. If you ever need a sitter I would recommend Onrae to care for your fur babies”

“Cassi was amazing with our three pups! They felt right at home with her. She was responsive and communicative. I think the dogs enjoyed their walk to the park. We are so happy we found Cassi and she was able to care for our pups while we visited family in the area.”

About: I've had a dog as part of my family for as long as I can remember. I would walk, feed, and clean up after them as I grew up. At the age of 16, I found my pup, Tessa, at the Animal Humane and got my first job just so I could have her (Yes, I paid for everything for her by myself). Since then I have had her by my side through finishing high school, finishing my undergrad, moving cities and states. When I was finishing my undergrad I decided to get another pup so my girl could have a sibling especially once I started working full time. I got my boy, Haka, at six weeks old and now he is 6yrs. Growing up I use to walk my neighbors pug multiple times a week. When in high school we had multiple dogs in the household that required extra care and attention due to their different personalities and temperaments. With my dog being bigger than the other dogs in my family I had to take measures to ensure all of them remained safe. This mainly involved having different play times and feeding them separately. For example: One of the dogs was very territorial over toys and would lash out at any other dog that came around, however, this pup was the smallest one so it was essential for me to mitigate the opportunity for a bad situation. This involved monitoring the situation at all times when the toy was out, keeping the dogs separated, or removing the toys altogether. I’m currently shifting to a new career field, so I am at home full time and plan to be throughout summer. I am a very active person with two of my own high energy pups that love to play at home or the dog park and loves walks/runs. I live in a townhome that has a relatively small yard and have a dog door that allows for anytime potty breaks. I have a tall back fence completely enclosing the yard. I live with a mile of two parks and the walking path on Tramway, and a few miles from trails or the dog park. The safety of mine and your pets is the main priority, so transparency is very important. All animals have different personalities, and stress of a new environment can change how they behave so it’s important that I know how they may react so I can put proper measures in place to keep everyone safe.

“As I drove up Diane's driveway on the second day of doggie daycare, my dog began barking enthusiastically and wagging her tail. My dog's review is the one that counts and she lets me know in a thousand different ways that she is so happy with Diane. In fact, when I go to pick up my dog from Diane's house, she always wants to spend a more time there. When it comes to finding the best sitter, I've already done the work for you. After attending many meet and greets, I can say with certainty that Diane is the best in Albuquerque. Diane has a great environment for the dogs. She has a large, grassy area outside and lots of shade. She lets the dogs come inside and has crates set up for rest time. When my dog is with Diane, she is learning and good habits are being reinforced. I also feel like Diane loves my dog and is glad that my dog is with her. I get pictures during every stay!”

“I had such peace of mind leaving my dog with Charles for doggy daycare. Charles updated me regularly with photos and accommodated my variable drop off and pick up times. I will definitely utilize Charles again!”

About: I've been a pet caretaker for most of my 45 years, but I only put 25 in the years experience because those adult years of my life have been most dedicated to pet care. I am a serial adopter of rescue animals, so I'm well versed in pet conditions that need special care. I don't crate our animals and I love them all unconditionally. If you have a pet that needs special attention or even a modicum of training, I'd be happy to help you take care of them. I'm a military veteran and author working from home. I spend my entire day spoiling my pets (I have both cats and dogs, and they get along well enough). I walk the dogs daily, sometimes more than once. The dogs get brushed regularly and the cats get brushed if they make an appearance or we can catch them. As mentioned earlier, I do not crate our pets. I prefer to let them roam, but I occasionally do block off certain areas of the house to prevent naughty behavior. The pets are always rewarded for good behavior with snacks.

“Alireza is so pleasant and truly has a way with dogs. Darchene, his Pup, is equally friendly and playful. My dogs so enjoyed their lovely backyard with GRASS - they had a 3-dog race around the yard. Fun to see how quickly they started to play. I do appreciated the update and great photos sent to me during their stay. We look forward to many more play stays visits. Thank you for joining the ROVER community - we appreciate you and your lovely family!”

About: With 2 dogs of my own, I completely understand the worry of having to leave your baby in the care of another. I offer flexible boarding in my home and check ins/walks! I’ve taken care of various friends and family members pets while they were away, have tons of experience in the pet sitting world (can provide references if needed) and both my boyfriend and I are certified vet assistants! Im currently working part time, have a schedule that allows me to be home a majority of the day, and can provide flexible potty breaks. Living in an apartment, we have access to many parks and various trails nearby! My dogs love company and will keep your pup busy for hours. They are both crate trained and everyone can be separated if needed.

“Justin was great! We were coming in from out of town and didn't have time to look for a dog sitter until last minute yet Justin came to the rescue when most sitters couldn't commit. We only needed a couple of hours for doggy day care so that me and the wife could spend her bday exploring ABQ. He was super responsive and even sent us pics of our doggies chilling - we would definitely book again with if we're coming back.”
