About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and currently share my home with three dogs and three cats of my own. Animals have always been central to my life, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. In addition to lifelong pet ownership, I have extensive experience in dog rescue. At one point I was actively caring for and rehabilitating 14 dogs at once, working with animals from a variety of backgrounds, temperaments, and medical needs. That experience taught me patience, strong observation skills, and how to quickly recognize changes in behavior or health. I’m comfortable caring for pets at every life stage — energetic puppies and kittens, adult animals with established routines, and seniors who need extra time and compassion. I also have hands-on experience with special needs pets, including administering medications, maintaining detailed care schedules, and assisting animals with mobility challenges. Most recently, I cared for a senior pit bull with hind-end weakness who required lifting assistance to stand and walk, along with consistent medication management. Providing calm, steady support for pets who need extra help is something I truly enjoy. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine familiar and low-stress while providing dependable care, lots of affection, and clear communication so you always know how things are going at home. I treat every pet as if they were my own and provide regular photo and message updates so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I currently work part-time as a work-from-home contractor, which allows me a very flexible schedule and makes it easy to adapt my day around pet care needs. Because I’m home much of the time, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular check-ins, and reliable care throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for to ensure feeding times, walks, medication schedules, and companionship needs are met without disruption. Whether it’s short visits, overnight stays, or extended care, I’m able to adjust my routine to prioritize your pet’s comfort and consistency. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine and environment as closely as possible to reduce stress.
