About: I know how hard it is to leave your beloved fur baby and I want you and your pet to be happy, knowing they're in good hands. I am patient, gentle and affectionate with animals and want them to have a great experience whenever I am with them. I love feeding animals and giving them treats, but I am respectful of the client's wishes and will strictly follow all feeding instructions. I am physically in shape and able to walk/jog with your dog and go on long walks (I also live near the Pufferbelly trail). I will play tug, fetch or whatever game your dog enjoys. I am willing to take your dog on car rides and to the Huntertown dog park upon client request. I have a golden retriever that loves to play and go for walks, so if you want some socialization for your dog, I can also bring him along. My dog will only come by request of the client. I do have 2 cats in my home, so I can only board dogs who are cat (and dog) friendly. Otherwise, I am more than happy to come to your home and care for your dog(s).
About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. Three of my previous dog clients have shown interest in having me come back to stay with their dogs when they’re out of town for more than a couple days. About: I've worked with dogs, cats, and other animals since middle school. I've done short- and long-term sitting for dogs varying from a weekend with a mixed breed rescue to a month with a purebred Australian shepherd. I owned an elderly Maltese for three years, until he crossed the rainbow bridge. Currently I do have a limit of dogs of maximum 35 pounds. I am prepared and willing to work with training routines. I studied cats extensively in seventh grade in my attempt to persuade my parents into owning one. (It worked.) As either a cat owner or sitter, I've been working with cats ever since.
