About: I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish. I grew up in a household with Pit Bulls, cats, and occasionally ducks and fish. I have one baby boy, our cat, Killua. We adopted him a year and a half ago. I am a teacher. I am available throughout the summer and after school hours during the school year. I have the summers available as I am a teacher. I also have the weekends open! During the school year, I am available before and after school hours. I would love to discuss what hours are needed for your family. When entering your home, I will treat your home and animals with the utmost respect. My job is to care for your animals without adding any stress to your daily schedule! Please let me know your request and I can meet them.
About: I am trained in Fear-Free and worked at an animal shelter for 3 years. You can rely on me to give medicine and provide typical daily care such as ear cleaning and nail trimming if desired. In addition, I will walk your pet as needed and provide socialization and enrichment. I am a mom of 2 dogs and 4 cats in addition to my own children. My furbabies are always taken care of as soon as I wake in the morning and multiple times throughout the day. I have high expectations for the care of my own pets that I will carry over into the care of any pets in my care. I will provide the care and love you want for your pet while they are being cared for by me. They will receive top-notch love and oversight in their own environment so that they can feel comfortable and at ease.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! Growing up as an only child, our pets were my built-in best friends and caring for them was my responsibility from a young age. That love for animals has only grown with me. Over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me to drop in, walk, and stay with their pets while they’re away, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal and their individual personality, routines, and quirks. These days, I’m a mom to a toddler and three very loved pets of my own, including my Golden Retriever, who is always happy to join me for a random walk during the day! I’d love to add a few more furry friends to my walking schedule and give them the same attention, patience, and affection I give my own. In our house, pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care, and I’ll always treat yours with the same love and importance I would want someone to give mine. Whether they need a good walk, some playtime, company, or just someone to make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away, I’d be so happy to be that person! I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout my day! I’m able to come and go as needed, so fitting walks, drop-ins, and visits into my daily routine is easy. I also have a great support system at home, which allows me to be flexible with scheduling and give your pets the time and attention they need. Because my work is remote, I can also bring it with me when needed! If your pet would benefit from a little extra company beyond a typical drop-in, I’m happy to settle in with my laptop and spend some additional time with them rather than rushing out the door. As a mom and pet owner myself, caring for both little humans and furry family members is already a big part of my everyday life. My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or has their own wonderfully specific set of quirks, I want their routine to feel as normal as possible while you’re away.

“We had a great walk yesterday. Rochelle was great. She walked Prince and handled him very well. She also learned some of our walking routes as well as side streets of Ashland.”

“Divine takes such good care of our Winnie! She’s the first dog walker we’ve hired and she has been flexible with our schedule changes week to week, sends the sweetest pictures, and is always on time.”

With over 4 years of hands on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, you can feel confident your dog is in capable and knowledgeable hands. As a certified dog trainer, I go beyond basic boarding by providing structure, guidance, and consistency throughout their stay. Whether it’s reinforcing commands, practicing leash manners, or simply maintaining a calm routine, your dog is always learning and thriving ✨🐶 I also have three personal dogs of my own ranging from 1 to 8 years old, so I truly understand the different needs, energy levels, and personalities that come with every stage of life 🐕🐕🦺🐾 My goal is to give your dog a comfortable, enriching, and stress free stay while giving you complete peace of mind knowing they’re safe, happy, and well cared for Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule because I’m a stay-at-home mom and a part-time dog trainer who works out of my own home. I’m already home throughout the day, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and consistent care without long periods alone. My training background also means I understand dog behavior, routines, and safety, so your pet gets both loving care and structured supervision in a calm, home-based environment. When pets stay in my home, they become part of my daily routine and are treated like family. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, and time to relax. I follow each pet’s feeding schedule and any special instructions closely, including medications if needed. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to give them lots of attention, affection, and structure, while using my dog training experience to reinforce good behavior and keep interactions positive and safe.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was eight years old. Including puppies and rescuing senior dogs. Some of the senior dogs were at the end of their life so I understand the need for compassion and care. I currently have a two year old puppy which I have trained since she was five months old. So I am very versed in the need for daily exercise, consistent training, and daily enrichment. I’ve been dog sitting for at least ten years. Including extended stays at my residence. I’m currently a part time worker, looking for something to fill my extra time. So I have a very flexible schedule and I’m always ready for some extra dog time. My goal is to always put your pets need first. Including any care they need. Including cleaning up after them and any extra medications they may need. Also adding comfort and safety in stressful situations.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—seriously, rabbits to goats, and everything in between. Right now I care for dogs, chickens, rabbits, and a cat, and I also have experience pet sitting for families from when I was in high school. In my 20s, I’m excited to help other animal owners get to enjoy a vacation or even a little break like a date night, without having to worry. My love for animals really shows, and I’m totally comfortable with both big dogs and smaller ones—I’m happy to care for every breed. I’m willing to have animals stay at my home, but they absolutely need to be comfortable around other animals. I can also drive to your place and stay at your home if that’s what you prefer. I work from home, so I’m available as often as you need me, and if you need me to stay overnight to watch your furry friend, I can definitely arrange that. With all that said, I’m excited to help in any way I can—because I genuinely love what I do! I’m currently working from home as a Sales Executive at a HR company. I take my pups out every 2 hours for potty breaks and to throw the ball for my very active GSD dog. I get off around 5:30PM M-F. So if you need me to stay at your home to watch your pets while I work throughout the day- that’s no problem! Or I can most definitely take breaks throughout the day to come take your animal out and/or just give some snuggles! I am free on the weekends and can make really anything work. Just give me a time and place and I’ll be there! I have a huge back yard and plenty of space for your dog to run around! It is not fenced, so must have good recall or I can just walk them on a leash. If your dog is coming over to my house they must be good with other animals. I have a male Belgian tervuren (fixed) who’s pretty shy at first, but warms up quickly and would love a play buddy! And then I have a male Dachshund (fixed) who sleeps all day. I do crate my dogs while I’m away, and they can be crated just to give your pet some space to decompress. My cat is in a separate room so she will be away as well.
About: Whether I am doing drop-in visits, dog walking or boarding your fur babes, they truly become part of my family. I have always held a deep affinity and bonding affection for animals, and my primary goal is to provide a seamless, stress-free environment for them while you are away. Efficient, loving care of your pets is what I will provide. & your peace of mind will be ensured. As a Registered Nurse, I bring a high level of clinical observation, assessment, calmness, and safety to my pet care. I also worked part-time in a veterinary practice earlier in my career, giving me a solid foundation in animal handling and wellness. I have much experience with my own pets past & present whom I have provided post-surgical care, administered medications & administered insulin injections. I have also administered subcutaneous IV fluids for several of my elderly cats in renal failure. I have loved all of my pets over the years, which included dogs, cats & guinea pigs! You can trust me with your dogs, cats or small animals. I’m currently retired with plans to work PT in 2027. For now I am “ free” to devote my time to your pets as needed. I have a very gentle & friendly rescued Beagle/ Foxhound who enjoys running & romping with playmates in my large fully fenced yard. I have a friendly, funny, curious 2 y/o tabby cat & a curmudgeon 17 y/o Tortie cat who sticks to herself mostly or lounges on her “Thrones” & observes her domain! If boarding, your pets can have relaxed free rein, including resting on furniture. In caring for your pets in your home, I will be respectful, honor your instructions & give affectionate, detail oriented, safe care.

What sets me apart is the genuine love and care I give every animal. I treat every pet like family and truly enjoy spending time with them, whether that means long walks, playing fetch, or simply keeping them company in their home. I currently have a very open and flexible schedule while I wait to begin my career as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in late August. My flexible availability allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and last-minute scheduling needs whenever possible. About: I’ve had a deep love for dogs my entire life, growing up with golden retrievers and labs who taught me the joy of the human-dog bond. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds - from German shepherds and pitbulls to shih tzus and Yorkies - and I’ve loved discovering each breed’s unique personality and temperament. What I cherish most is forming genuine connections with every dog I meet. I get as much from these interactions as the dogs do, and that mutual trust and affection is what makes pet care so rewarding for me. I’m experienced with e-collar training, standard obedience, and reinforcing whatever training methods you use at home. I’m equally comfortable caring for energetic puppies and gentle senior dogs, adapting my approach to each dog’s specific needs. I’m confident administering medications and following any feeding or routine schedule precisely. Whether walking through busy urban streets, quiet neighborhoods, or parks with other dogs around, I prioritize safety while ensuring your pup gets the exercise and stimulation they need. Most importantly, I treat every dog in my care like family - because to me, they are. I work from home doing freelance/contract work, which gives me the flexibility to build my schedule around pet care. Since I set my own hours, I can easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, and house sitting without the constraints of a traditional 9-5 job. This setup is ideal for dogs because I can provide midday attention when most people are stuck at the office. Whether your pup needs a lunch-time walk, consistent daily visits, or someone reliable for last-minute bookings, my flexible schedule makes it work. I’m available most days throughout the week, and I can adjust my work hours to match your dog’s routine. For house sitting, I’m able to stay overnight and be present throughout the day, which means your dog gets plenty of company and isn’t left alone for long stretches. Basically, my work adapts to pet care - not the other way around. House Sitting: When staying at your home, I maintain your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. My day typically includes morning walks or playtime, midday exercise and mental stimulation, and evening walks before bed. Throughout the day, I provide companionship, follow your feeding schedule precisely, and administer any medications as directed. I’ll also handle basic tasks like bringing in mail, watering plants, and keeping your home secure. I send regular photo updates so you know your pup is happy and well-cared for. Drop-In Visits: I’ll come by at scheduled times to feed your dog, provide fresh water, and give them a potty break and some quality attention. Each visit includes playtime or a brief walk depending on your dog’s needs and energy level. I’ll also tidy up any messes, ensure they’re comfortable, and send you a quick update with photos so you have peace of mind while you’re away. Dog Walking: I tailor each walk to your dog’s age, energy level, and training. Whether it’s a leisurely neighborhood stroll or a more vigorous park session, I focus on both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’m attentive to their behavior around other dogs and people, and I always prioritize safety while making sure they have a great time.
“Drew is great! He followed all of my instructions and took great care of my baby. He clearly knows how to handle big dogs (Bruce is a Doberman). Will definitely hire again next time I'm out of town for work!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
