About: If your dog loves attention, belly rubs, walks, playing outside, or simply having someone nearby, they’ll fit right in here. 🐾 I’ve always been the person friends, family & neighbors call when they need someone they completely trust with their pets. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality, quirks & routine because no two dogs are alike. When you’re away, my goal isn’t just to watch your dog, it’s to make sure they feel safe, loved, comfortable & happy until you’re back home. I’ll also keep you updated with photos & messages along the way, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in good hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of 1:1!attention throughout the day. Your dog won’t just be another booking, they’ll be treated like part of the family while they’re here. Your pet’s safety & comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment with close supervision & plenty of attention. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications & any special instructions provided by the owner.

About: I have years of experience. i have had animals all my life and have taken care of all different kinds - turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, ferrets, lizards, cats and dogs. i have had to take care of senior dogs, and of dogs that needed medications everyday for either seizures or for pain due to being hit by a car. I look out more for the animal than i do for myself it seems. I work from home, i can play or arrange services M-W til 3p, Th and Fri all day long, and the Weekends before 7a and after 3p they can be all mine. My home is not fenced in, however my dog is trained and comes when called and doesn't need a leash. If Dogs are coming to my home; they will require a leash and harness. “Marian was very willing to provide her dog walking services on such a short notice after I had a previous plan backfire on me. While I couldn't meet her beforehand, we put in a plan for her to get my keys so she can meet Bandit and take him for walks. She was very professional and from what I can tell, Bandit enjoyed his time with her and the walks. Highly recommend Marian and will definitely be using her for future needs!”

About: I (Eren) have been a veterinary technician since 2023, working in a variety of settings including a clinic, shelter, and university research hospital caring for special-needs dogs. Through this experience, I’m comfortable with medical care, senior pets, administering medications, recognizing early signs of illness, and handling animals with unique behavioral needs. I’ve also had animals my entire life, from cats and dogs to exotics, so I understand how different every species (and every personality!) can be. I’m patient, gentle, and confident with shy or anxious animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. My partner Luca is also part of our Rover profile and shares this same passion for animal care. We have multiple pets together and work as a team to provide attentive, reliable care. Luca previously worked at the same clinic I’m at as a receptionist and veterinary assistant, and now works in a science lab where he also helps care for lab animals. His experience makes him calm, capable, and very comfortable handling a wide range of animals. What sets us apart is that we combine professional veterinary experience with genuine, everyday love for animals. Between the two of us, your pets will always have attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care. We currently have cats, ferrets, mice and 1 bearded dragon of our own, and we hold ourselves to the same high standard of care that we would want for them. Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine because animals have always been a huge part of our lives. I work full-time, but I schedule my Rover services around my work hours so that every visit gets my full attention. I’m typically available before or after work for drop-ins, walks, and evening check-ins, and I always communicate clearly about my availability. My partner Luca helps provide additional flexibility. He is a full-time student and works part-time in a lab, with a schedule that tends to stay consistent for longer periods. Because our schedules often complement each other, one of us is usually available when the other is not. This allows us to offer more consistent and reliable care throughout the day. Even with busy schedules, caring for animals is something we both genuinely enjoy and make time for, and we never take on more than we can fully commit to. We primarily care for pets in our clients’ homes, where they feel safest and most comfortable. As a veterinary technician, safety is always my first priority. We follow your pet’s normal routines closely, including feeding, medications, walks, and playtime, while also keeping an eye out for any early signs of stress or illness. We’re respectful of your home, trustworthy with your space, and committed to creating a calm, clean environment for your pets while you’re away. We provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how your pet is doing.

“If you have a large dog Wydia is the person for you. Kiato misses me and hubby something awful when we travel and Wydia went above and beyond. We also had the storm Debbie come through while we were on vacation and she modified walks around the storm. She even did some longer walks to let him really get some exercise and walk with a dog friend. She even brushed his coat several times as it is blow out season. I will be using Wydia again!! If I could give 10 stars I would.”

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Edenburg. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
