About: I have dogsat for around 3 years now both small dogs like mine and big australian shepards. I care for children as well. 💗 💗 I attend class 10-2 pm. About: Hi, I’m Darleen! I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Growing up, my family always had pets, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. On top of that, I’ve worked in caregiving for people and while doing that, I also helped care for my clients’ pets. That meant feeding, walking, cleaning up messes, giving meds when needed, and just making sure their animals felt safe and loved while their owners were away or nearby just needing extra assistance for their fur babies. So being patient, dependable, and detail-oriented is already second nature to me. I’m great with energetic dogs who need real playtime, shy or anxious pets who need reassurance, and older animals who need a gentler touch. I myself had a Chihuahua since childhood live to be 18 years old. She passed away a couple of years ago, so I know how it is to love and cherish them and watch your baby go through all the stages of life. That being said, I follow routines closely, respect your home, and I’ll always send photo updates so you know how your pet is doing. I truly treat pets like family and see them no other way. If you’re looking for someone reliable who genuinely cares about your animals, I’d love to help. Feel free to reach out for a meet & greet :) I’m currently unavailable on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can work with other needs on other days. At the moment pretty flexible just need communication, of course to work something out. I care for pets the same way I care for my own — with patience, attention, and respect for their routines. I currently have three cats and a really sweet husky at home, so I’m used to managing different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also cared for clients’ pets while working in human caregiving, which means I’m comfortable following instructions closely, giving meds if needed, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I can accommodate whatever kenneling or crate needs are required at the location care is taking place, as well as follow any potty routine your dog needs. I always respect your home, keep things tidy, and send photo updates so you know your pet is doing okay.

About: I always grew up with dogs and got in to the industry 6 years ago. I started at a doggy daycare and eventually got a job training protection dogs. Throughout my professional experience I managed multiple dogs in both a home and facility setting. Ensuring each dog in my care is fulfilled every day is my top priority! I am currently able to provide full-time care for the pets in my home. My life revolves around my dogs and any guest would fit right into my rotating schedule. I have a room dedicated to the pets I am sitting as well as a securely fenced backyard. I will crate and rotate guests with my dogs, unless explicitly friendly, to ensure the safety of all. Any pet in my home is treated as my own!
About: I have a gentle and loving spirit. I accept all animals into my world. The more the better! I have a lot of love to give. I work part time so I have plenty of extra time to spend with all the pets. I love being outside and going for walks and spending time with animals as much as I can. Whenever I'm with any pets, they have my full attention and care. I'm happy to sit with pets as long as needed and give them the love and care.
About: With over 4 years of pet care experience, I have developed a deep understanding of various breeds and their unique needs. Whether it's providing daily exercise, playtime, or administering medications, I ensure that every pet feels loved and safe. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where your furry friend can thrive while you're away! I currently work remotely, which allows me to be home all day and provide consistent care and attention to your dog. I dedicate quality time for play, companionship, and plenty of cuddles throughout the day. On weekends, I enjoy taking dogs on longer adventures, such as walks or trips to the park, to keep them active and engaged. I strive to create a fun, safe, and loving environment that keeps my routine lively and enjoyable—for both me and your pup! 🐶💚 I have a patio with a small fenced yard, providing a safe outdoor space for your dog to relax and play. I have one friendly Labradoodle who is 4 years old and gets along well with other dogs and children.

About: My mission is to give you peace of mind by making sure your animals feel safe and are loved and well cared for. I’ve always had a love for animals and a passion for caring for them. I have been a pet parent for the past 10 years and have been a part-time pet sitter for friends and family during that time. I have changed careers and am now a full-time pet sitter. I also volunteered at two animal shelters for 5 years. I offer personalized care for your pets based on their needs and routines—whether they’re energetic pups who love to play fetch, or more chill kitties who just need a lap to nap on, I’m happy to accommodate. What makes me stand out? I’m patient, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll send you regular updates, so you never have to worry, and I’m happy to follow any special instructions to ensure your pet feels right at home. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy for your pet and I take that responsibility seriously. I am a full-time pet sitter, so I have lots of time to devote to your fur babies. I am available for drop-ins, overnight visits and boarding all throughout the week. I have a fenced in yard with pet turf for your fur babies to run and play. I treat your dogs as if they were my own, providing lots of love and attention. The dogs have free roam of the house including my bed for lots of cuddling.
About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally. Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked with pets of all kinds—playful pups, independent cats, curious bunnies, and even the occasional lizard. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s a quick visit, a long walk, or just keeping them company, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to easily incorporate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. My schedule allows me to plan visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. This means I can provide consistent, timely care and adjust to each pet’s specific needs—whether that’s a morning walk, a midday visit, or evening playtime. Being remote also allows me to stay nearby in case any last-minute needs come up. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my focus is always on creating a safe, clean, and low-stress environment. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide—so they feel secure and comfortable in their familiar space. I make sure your home is respected and left just as I found it. If pets are staying in my home, they’ll have a cozy, quiet space with plenty of attention, play, and supervised care throughout the day. In both cases, I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ector. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
