About: I specialize in training your dog or cat, i also know how to take care of animals who are deaf, blind, or need a little bit of extra care I’m available anytime or the day or night for anyone who needs help with their pet. I know how sometimes a work schedule can get crazy and you need more time with your animals. I can do that for you! About: Hi, my name is Jena and my husband Trent and I live on 2 acres out in Wetumpka. Before moving to Alabama I lived in Texas for 4 years where I was also a professional dog sitter. Prior to living in Texas, I worked full time at a dog boarding kennel in Wisconsin, which gave me a ton of different experiences; in addition to the 8 years I have been working with Rover! I have a deaf, senior dog, Simba, and have experience in dealing with seniors and with with special needs dogs. I also have experience in working with dogs that have severe separation anxiety and that struggle with being boarded in a kennel environment. I can also handle dogs that may be considered "difficult", i.e. little/no recall, poor leash manners, poor obedience skills, resource guarding issues, and crate/kennel anxiety. I am willing to meet your dog where they are and help them thrive while they're with me! **I do not introduce my dogs to other dogs with owners present. My dogs are not allowed to meet anybody (human or dog) when they are overly aroused, so intros are done slowly, after everybody calms down. It may take all day, it may not happen at all on the first stay.** Dog Sitting is my full time job which means I am able to there all day for your pup. That also gives me a flexible schedule for drop-off and pick-up times, as well as handling your last minute dog emergencies that come up unexpectedly! I can also travel to Maxwell AFB and Gunter AFB if needed. I separated from the military 9 years ago, and my husband is still active duty. We have two dogs; one 11 year old Boxer, Simba; and one 8 year old Mountain Cur, Daisy. Because Simba is a senior dog, I will only be taking one client (up to 2 dogs from the same family) at a time for boarding at my house. My backyard is fully fenced in and inside the house I can easily separate dogs if needed. I have a dog room with its own air conditioning unit if your dog needs space, or if my dogs need space it can be fully closed off or separated with a gate. I have 3 permanent crates set up at all times in my home, as well as several others that I can set up so there is no need to bring your own. My house is set up for a crate-and-rotate system if needed for the safety and comfort of all dogs. Dogs will be separated if any of them show signs of high stress or anxiety. ** For the health & safety of all dogs, "free feeding" is NOT allowed. ** Females that are in heat will be carefully monitored and crated at night to avoid any potential accidents. My male dog is neutered but there are other dogs in the neighborhood that may be attracted by the scent of a female in heat and I do not want to take any risks. Dogs that display dog aggression will be handled with care and will be kept separate from my own dogs. I have the ability to keep boarded dogs separate from my own even in the yard so if your dog struggles with being social, I can definitely work around that!

About: I grew up on a small farm so I have always taken care of various pets. We currently have our own dog, Charlie. He is a 2 year old Golden retriever, he loves people and gets along well with all animals. He is beyond spoiled, so your dog would be spoiled too. We also have 2 Nigerian dwarf goats, they are friendly as can be and my dog absolutely loves them. I am currently out of work due to an injury, (I am an RN )so I am at home all the time. I take Charlie on 2 walks a day and let him play outside. He likes to play fetch for the ball in the pool or he walks around the 11 acre property with me while I work. The dogs can also play in a fenced in area, but I will keep your dog on leash outside at all times if that is preferred! We have a fenced in huge arena for your dog to play with ours outside without fear of them getting out. We also have 11 acre property that we like to let our dog play around in, supervised. If they are crate trained, we have no problem continuing this at night, or if your dog is not crate trained, and friendly, they can come upstairs and sleep on the dog bed on the floor next to our dog :) We treat other dogs like family.

Right now we have one small inside dogs that absolutely loves all other dogs and humans. I am currently unemployed, so I have open availability all 7 days of the week.
