About: I have taken care of my own and others pets for 50+ years. I have 3 indoor dogs of my own and have become the official ball thrower to the smallest of my pets because she loves to play fetch. I also care for the Hummingbirds yearly that visit my yard from March till September. I have a full time job but can feed, walk and care for your pets needs after 5 on weekdays and all weekend beginning at 5 on Friday evening. I will care for your pets with as much love as I do my own. Pets are our family and need to be treated and loved as we would our own. I will honor all likes, food choices and instructions given regarding the animals in your home.

About: I've taken care of pets for around 16 years as an adult, for others and myself! I would say I have worked with dogs/puppies for about of those years off and on. This included some basics of beginner training for a puppy. My background is in human services, so I love people and pets :) It would be my pleasure to help support with your pet in your home, either drop ins, for a certain number of hours, or overnight, including house sitting. I do best with small to medium dogs, or some larger dogs who do not jump, pull on the lease, etc. I work from home, remotely at this time, so I have a lot of flexibility, and some weeks I can stay in home, and even drive a ways for these situations. Locally, Kerrville, Ingram, and within about a 10-15 miles radius, I can work in some regular daytime stays or drop-in. When caring for pets in my client's home, I focus on following the schedule and engagement in ways the pets do well with. I know some pets are more particular than others about schedules, so this is important. Regular movement is also important to me, so dogs will not be in crates longer than needed/requested. I aim to be available to engage regularly for longer stays as well!

About: I grew up in a pet living home. Experience with all types of breeds and behaviors. Let me care for you pet just how you want it. I work from home and have plenty of extra time for walking, pet care and playing with your pet. They won't even realize you are gone until you return. My care is individually created based on owners preferences and wishes. If medications are needed I have years of experience with giving meds to cats, dogs and exotic pets.

About: I’ve loved dogs and taking care of them since I was very young. I currently work at an animal shelter where I regularly give meds, feed, clean living areas, walk, and handle dogs who may be a little more quirky and need more time to feel comfortable with their people/handlers. I know a little training skills, like working with dogs to set before going through doorways and positive reinforcement, but am hoping to broaden my knowledge as time goes on. I have great attention to detail and can keep track of things very well. I work full time typically but my job is flexible, on my days I do work 9-5 I have the ability to leave during my lunch and I have two days off a week. I will take care of a clients dog just the way they would! I know what it is like to worry about who’s care you’re leaving your beloved pets in so I would do everything to ensure that everybody is happy and comfortable!

“We were nervous about having to leave for a last minute international travel and it would actually be the longest time (2 weeks) we would have to spend away from our three loved ones (we have a larger dog, a little dog and a cat). We scheduled a meet and greet and all 3 felt very comfortable around Cheri, so we decided to proceed. It can be scary and uncomfortable to leave your pets with someone you don’t know but meeting Cheri made us more comfortable. She really put a lot of time and effort to send frequent updates with lots of pictures. We really appreciated that she took her time to get to know each of them and clearly put effort into bonding with our fur-babies; we knew it from the accurate reports she shared about their personalities, traits and habits. Her love for animals is impressive and our little ones definitely loved her back. We will certainly be reaching out to Cheri in the future and we highly recommend her.”

About: I am a biomedical science major at TAMU with sights set on vet school. I have been around animals my whole life and have been taking care of neighbors and friends dogs since I was around 12 years old. I understand the great care and attention that is needed for each individual dog when taking care of them and I love doing it. Dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since I remember, and they are what inspired me to pursue the career path that I am currently on. I am a full time student as well as a part time worker, so my schedule is pretty busy. However whenever I do have free time I am more than willing to spend it playing with dogs. I have a dog of my own right now who is very friendly and loves when he gets the chance to play with other dogs. He is not neutered as of right now so I cannot house any girl dogs that have not had their procedure. We have a large backyard that is fenced in all around, except where our driveway enters into it. I live in a quiet neighborhood right beside 2 large parks that are great for walking the pups.

I am 47 years old and have a rewarding career in plastic/reconstructive surgery, but also realize that caring for fur babies is yet another true passion in which I truly enjoy! Fur babies need lots of love and attention as well as activity through play dates, park time, hiking, walking swimming etc. Additional Services Include: Groomer drop off and pick up, vet visit transportation and attendance, medication administration and bathing are also offered. I am also available for meet and greets preceding scheduled services. I am available on nights, weekends and holidays. I DO NOT board more than one family’s dogs at a time. Therefore, you do not have to worry about safety. It is in the best interest of your fur baby to not be exposed to others in which could result in physical injury and or harm and or contagious illnesses. Rest assured, your fur babies are completely safe with me. Pictures and reports of your fur babies are sent to you on a daily basis! Fur babies should feel loved and cared for in the absence of their owners much like a doggie vaca! An experienced pet sitter that you can get to know, trust and feel comfortable with whom is much like family is a necessity! I work in the medical field and have the ability to adjust my flexible schedule to accommodate my pet clients needs and or requests on a client to client basis. At the present time-I am not offering boarding services in my home. I believe pets feel more comfortable and at ease in their own homes where they are familiar with their surroundings and specific care instructions will vary per client request which is discussed during our meet and greet session.
