“Sydney was a great dog walker and was wonderful with my dog. She was thorough, detailed, very easy to communicate with, and on time every day. I would highly recommend Sydney for any and all questions of your pet’s needs. Thank you again!”

About: I have been a dog owner for more than 18 years and I've been around cats and dogs my whole life. My partner and I, along with our 4-year-old Pyrenees mix, provide a safe, loving space with tons of room to run, and heaps of belly rubs. I'm currently working part time as a property manager on a 50 acre estate. My partner works from home. So one or both of us is around. We both take our dog for a long hike/bike/one wheel ride every evening that we would love to take your buddy with us. If I have take your dog to work I have a Tacoma with a camper shell that I bring Stevie in. It's safe and lockable so you can be assured that your fur baby is safe. We live in a single family home with two floors outside the Meyers roundabout. We allow dogs on couches, beds and have indoor and outdoor dog beds. We are a block away from miles of trails down to the Truckee river. Also I love running my dog Stevie with my one wheel around paradise park. Which is around 4 miles round trip. So if your dog needs lots of running and is safe on or off leash Ive got the toy for them. When not walking or riding we have a large fenced backyard (especially for Tahoe). So they won't be couped up inside. Please let us know what your best friend needs and we'll do our best to accommodate.

About: I have extensive years of pet care. I’ve always had pets as a child and identify and understand their needs and wants (Cats & Dogs). I can house sit during the day but sorry no over night stays. If you call or text me early am I can book same day. Thank you. I have a cat and he comes first, so I do not do overnights stays but can do in home sitting for dogs or cats.

About: I have had animals my whole life. I currently have dogs, cats, and horses. Responsible for caring for multiple neighbors' pets. References available upon request. I am a dog person through and through. I love to take the dogs for walks. My life already fits around dogs very well. My goal is 2- 3 short walks per day. I have a large fenced back yard. I have beds around the house for the dogs. I have a crate available. I feed at 7am and 5pm.

About: I have been caring for pets since I was 8 years old. From then to now I have done overnights, dog walks, and even potty breaks. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to keep their pets company, take them on walks/get them outside, feed them on a consistent schedule, be available for potty breaks, stay over night, and bathe when needed. I love being a helping hand just as much as I love the furry companions! I just got back from a long trip away and I am not working. Allowing me full time to take care of and attend to your pets. I will follow any and all instructions given on how to care for your pets. For example, having them in leash when letting them into the backyard, putting them in the crate when needed, keeping food high out of reach, etc.

“Alexis was great with my rambunctious doodles! They jumped all over her and she handled them just fine. She took them to the dog park, sent me a nice report and pics. Alexis was very kind and gentle with my pets. I’ll definitely reach out again for more services.”

About: I've been a dog mom for over 15 years. I most recently lost my best friend Izzy, a big Loverador, after 12 years in 2020, and have since missed the joy a dog brings into the home. While I am not quite ready to adopt again, I am excited to take this time to help you in caring for your best friend the same way I would expect for anyone watching my own. I work full time from home and am pretty flexible in my daily routine. Breaks often include walks to either one of the nearby parks or open space USFS land; all within less than a mile of the property. I have a large unfenced yard with a comfortable lead for a bit of off-leash fun. I do have an older cat (15) who was raised by labs and is very comfortable around other dogs - not cats. Please no known aggresive dogs to cats.

“Melissa was exceptional! She helped me while I was injured and couldn’t walk my pup for a weekend. She was so timely, communicative and professional! Jojo loved every time her car pulled up and greeting her and it’s clear it was mutual from Melissa. She listened to all of my crazy dog mom requests and worries as I never have someone else walk him and was a breeze to work with. She brought her sweet golden Obi along for one of the walks and Jojo was thrilled! So thankful to be able to trust someone else with my pup.”

“Angelique was awesome. She took very good care of our senior dogs and checked in whenever there was a question. We would definitely recommend her to any pet owners out there.”

About: I have watched dogs since I was young, both at my house and at the owners house. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time 😅 but prefer to keep it to 2-3 total. I have a dog of my own, a long hair-dachshund, that loves to play with all dogs. I make sure the dogs I watch get to play outside each day as I know how important it is for their health and happiness. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I often watch dogs at my house but can drive to check on dogs if it’s nearby. Most weekends I’m outside either hiking or playing the snow and love to take the dogs with me. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access to the upper deck. During the day I often take a morning walk and evening walk in my backyard ranging from 30 minutes to an hour depending on my work schedule that day. I have tons of dog toys and treats that keep the dogs occupied.

“Kelly took the dogs on walks over two days. She was just awesome. Sent photos and a walk card letting us know where and how long the dogs went on their walk. Really terrific. Thanks Kelly!!!”

She is very reliable and patient with my boys and when she’s available during the week she takes them for four hours on some mornings. “There are a lot of dog lovers out there, but Courtney is by far one of the best. She loves dogs dearly and takes care of them with as much care, responsibility and kindness as anyone I've known. She is our FIRST choice for watching our little Golden Retriever knowing he will get the best possible care and be treated as if he was her own dog. Courtney has years of experience lovingly raising her own dogs - big and small, taking them on walks, playing with them, minding their safety at all times and providing all kinds of emotional support. John M.
“Hello, I want to share my experience with John. My family and I were going out of town and found out that our beloved dog, Teddy, was not allowed to stay with us at the hotel. We contacted John asking for help. Without any hesitation, John was happy to help us with Teddy over the weekend. He took great care of him, and Teddy had a wonderful time. John even notified us when Teddy didn't finish his entire breakfast- which is normal for Teddy, but John wanted to make sure we knew! We will definitely be going back to him. Thanks!”
