“Adam really came through for me when I was in a pinch and I'm so very grateful. He was accommodating for a last minute daycare situation and super compassionate for what I was going through. My pup obviously had a great time playing with his dogs and gave Adam kisses when they said goodbye. Highly recommend!”

About: Larissa: They have spent their entire life caring for animals of many kinds, and have been pet-sitting for friends and family for almost 3 decades. They are the primary caregiver for the dogs when they are on Rover stays, and every dog gets specialized, individualized attention. They have handled dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and pride themself on being a calm and steady space for them to receive comfort when they are anxious at being away from their owners. For pet-sitting, Larissa is also available to care for large animals (especially horses) and birds, for an extra fee. Valerie: She has spent her entire life being obsessed with dogs, and has handled hundreds of dogs, of every type and temperament. She has almost 20 years of experience in dog rescue, having founded two successful non-profits in Tri-Cities, Washington (Mikey's Chance and HART). Now retired from full-time rescue, she still volunteers as a consultant, transport and foster home. When it comes to dogs, there is not much she hasn't seen or isn't able to deal with, and her support, knowledge and experience are vitally important to our Rover operation. Boarding/day-care: Larissa and Valerie both work on the property full time and there is almost always someone home with the animals. Very occasionally, the dogs may be left for an hour or two, during which time they are crated or otherwise confined for their safety (inside or outside, depending on weather and the specific needs of the dogs). House-sitting: Larissa is available to stay with the animals almost all the time, barring the need to run a few errands. They will never be gone for more than an hour or two, and if your animals absolutely require 100% presence, that is open to discussion. Boarding/day-care: The dogs have free access to a large, grass back yard when weather permits and supervised access to the rest of the property, including daily pack-walks in our 1.5 acre pasture. There are horses and chickens on the property, and most dogs are not permitted in with them, nor will pet owners be held liable if a chicken comes over the fence and gets grabbed. There is one indoor cat, who usually does not interact with the dogs. There are approximately 10 barn cats, who know to avoid dogs, but we need to know if dogs are likely to chase cats, so we can control their movements. We use crates for feeding and sleeping (when necessary). Most of the time, the dogs are out and lounging about the house on a variety of sleeping surfaces. House-sitting: The owners and the animals dictate the routine, and it will be followed to the letter!
“Alexis was great with my 7yr border collie! I was working in the Pendleton area, staying in a hotel and in need of a place for my dog to hang out during the day. Alexis was kind enough to offer to pick up and drop off from my hotel while I was at work. She has a nice big yard and other dogs for socialization. I'm so happy I found Alexis. Will be booking again!”

About: I have experience with pets big and small and of all ages. I have 5 animals (3 cats, 2 dogs) and plenty of room for all to roam. I have cared for animals ever since I was a little kid and have years of experience in house sitting for neighbors who had chickens, lizards, cats, dogs, quail, fish, and various rodents too. I have experience in providing medication and other various needs your pet may require. I also love taking photos and can provide photos often! There will be someone home with your pet at all times of the day and we are always able to be contacted. I am currently unemployed so I am home most of the time with my fur-babies and I am never gone for more than 4 hours at a time so that means more time to care for your animals and give them the attention they deserve! My husband and I both provide amazing care to our animals and would love to give your fur-baby a safe home when you’re away. We have a fenced yard, friendly animals, keep our cats inside, and will follow any and all routines you may have with your pet.
About: I would take care of your furry family member the same way i would my own. i will follow any feeding/ supplement or RX instructions and then from there we will try to have fun so that u can have fun while u are away. I can promise u that if ur dog is not indoors and he is outside playing then someone will be with him or watching. We have always had dogs and cats and I have had the opportunity to work with different populations of dogs and special needs dogs it has been interesting and gratifying. We play catch and walk to the river most of the time and when it is the hottest part of the time we try to relax. Dogs are a constant in my daily life that's what makes an addition of others so simple. I am lucky enough to have a good house and set up for having dogs and watching other people's where dogs can be separated and still be inside with plenty of opportunities to be outside. I would care for dogs the same as I would for my own dogs and let me tell uy⁹After doing this for a while and you learned that the dogs are sometimes the easy part dealing with the owners can be more challenging so I just operate as if there are always always watching and it seems like if you take lots of pictures and or videos that goes a long way in making the owners feel better about the experience
