About: I have over 300 volunteer hours with NOAH Center as a dog walker, cat kennel tech, and foster parent. I grew up with 5 dogs (2 Whippets, 2 Chihuahuas, 1 Boston Terrier) and 2 cats. I ride horses in my free time so there is no dog too big for me! I am currently in between jobs and out of school for the summer so my schedule is wide open for pet sitting and dog walking! My first jobs have been dog sitting at other homes, which I believe is the ideal situation as the animals are always most comfortable in a familiar space. I love to take dogs on frequent walks and breaks outside, they are easiest to manage when tuckered out.

About: I've watched cared and watched dogs & pets of friend's, family's, coworker's, & even a wrong number for 15 years. I feel keeping animals in their homes and where they are comfortable when owners are away is important. As an animal lover I enjoy being able to give love and attention to as many animals I can since I am not able to have one or more of my own at this moment. I enjoy being outside and getting some exercise and would love to have a fur companion join me! I love to go hiking and would provide forest frollics for your dog! My schedule at the moment is extremely flexible. I am available to hang out with your pets all day if needed to ensure they keep their routine and have a stress free stay. I would treat your home like I was a guest there and make sure the pets routine is kept the entirety of my stay. Making sure your house is clean and tidy before your return.

About: I've had many family pets growing up. But, now that I'm the sole caretaker of my own pet, I have a deeper understanding of what goes in to pet care. So, I'm open to help take care of other pets as well! I want to make this my main job so, I have plenty of flexibility. Therefore, I'll be able to easily work around the clock and take care of pets. Since this is my main job, I can spend lots of quality time with your furry buds to make sure that they are comfortable while you're away. So, worry not!

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I've always had a deep love and understanding for animals. Growing up with dogs and a cat, I learned the importance of providing compassion, patience, and amazing care. My experience extends beyond my own pets, I have frequently cared for family and friends' pets, often stepping in as their trusted sitter or walker when they needed help. While also providing bathes and medication as needed. I pride myself on being a reliable caregiver who treats every pet as if they were my own, ensuring their happiness and well-being at all times! I’m currently available any day of the week/weekends. This schedule allows me to give pet care my full attention! Morning walks, midday breaks or walks, evening playtime and walks. I am available to provide the love and attention and pet needs. I have a sweet 6yr old Yorkie Poodle (Luna) who has grown up around cats and dogs, friendly with kids! She can be a great friend for your furry animal. She gets to go on daily walks, even small hikes or play at dog parks and the beach. Caring for others pets and their specific needs is absolutely possible for me to do! They will always get the care and attention needed!

About: I grew up always having a dog, we had a golden retriever for most of my childhood who was sweet and sneaky! I always had to have my eye on him or he would wander off! That being said I had the best time taking him to the beach, walking with him and snuggling with him! My family now has an Australian shepherd who is quite the opposite as my golden, loads of energy and never leaves my side. He is a swimmer so I often take him to the beach for long stretches of time to get his energy out or to the field to play fetch! I am reliable and love to give dogs the special attention they deserve! When we got the Aussie as a puppy I was 17 and helped train and take care of him, he was a handful but the best handful! I love the puppy stage, although sometimes you have to be firm which I am comfortable doing they are also so cute in their own ways and I am up for the challenge! I am currently a senior at Western Washington University, earning a degree in News Editorial Journalism. I am in Bellingham for the summer and have loads of extra time and looking to earn a little money while also looking for a more full time job! I love dogs and I love getting outside, it gives me healthy balance and activity in my day. I am a very active person, I spend my winters snowboarding and during the summer love to go on hikes, walks, to the beach and boating! I handle instruction very well and take it very seriously. I am fully capable and committed to learning the routines of these dogs and family’s and can adapt my methods and days to fit best with the customer. I do like to give dogs lots of love and think it is very important they get good physical exercise and consistency in eating, pee breaks and all the little things that go along with having a job! I am very clean and organized, as far as overnight pet sitting I am very low maintenance and trust worthy, mostly likely I will be reading or watching a show in the evenings and spending as much time outside during the day as possible! I am happy to send photos/give updates of the dog to the dog owners and am reliable and available for communication whenever is necessary.

About: I love all kinds of dogs and pets! I have watched and taken care of both my own and friends pets for years. I love hanging out with all different kinds of dogs and have experience with both big and small dogs. I have an open schedule at the moment! I am back in Anacortes this summer before starting grad school this fall. I am able to board pets at the moment. I will abide by your and your pet’s normal routine at home and follow any safety rules you have set in your home. I always have my full attention on every pet when taking care of them.

About: I have owned dogs, cats, chameleons, and rabbits throughout my life. I’ve always loved the companionship a pet provides and have enjoyed nurturing such loving animals. I am passionate about providing proper care to animals and have a calm and patient demeanor with them. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and I also enjoy hiking with dogs to keep more with their energy. I believe in the proper care and treatment of animals and will make sure that all of my effort goes into providing the best care possible. I’m very flexible and willing to pick up and drop of at the owners convenience to save them travel. I’m an outdoor educator so my availability is on the weekends, but I am free for early walks before 8am on week days and after 8pm. I have some flexibility around dinner time given notice. I am more than happy for overnight weekday visits knowing I’ll be gone from 8am-8pm. In my clients home I care for the pets the same way a family member would, my job is to make your pet as comfortable as I can while you are gone.

About: I grew up with dogs, and have cared for both small and large alike. I’ve done senior care and high medical needs with my own schnauzer and understand high energy breeds. I’m very energetic and ready to work with any dog. I’m currently working as physical therapist treating out of my home with a very flexible schedule. I love the opportunity to get outside and walk dogs! I’m able to work in various times with ease! I have a large yard (non-fenced), and a large fenced in deck if the dogs like to be outside! I live to be outside and can’t wait to play with your pet! I’ve got plenty of dog beds around my home for pets comfort!

About: I am available for in house visits and overnight stays through the winter months. I have experience with kittens and cats of all ages and health issues, as well as with small and medium sized dogs from 1.5 to 16 years of age. I can administer medication, provide exercise and stimulation, and make pets feel at ease in their own environment- as opposed to the overwhelming smells and noises at a traditional kennel. My work schedule is somewhat fluid during the winter months, so I should be able to reach an arrangement that suits just about any situation. Feel free to reach out even if our schedules don’t align perfectly, I may be able to switch other jobs around to accommodate your needs. I can care for your pets in the comfort and safety of their own space. It is far less stressful for the animal to remain in their home, with the sounds, scents, and sights they are used to. They will miss you while you’re away, but they’ll know you’ll be coming back to the home they share with you. I think it’s the perfect arrangement. I am happy to send photos and videos of your pets while you’re away to give you peace of mind that they are happy and healthy in your absence.
