“Mikaela was amazing! Flexible with our changing schedule. She sent us updates and photos multiple times throughout the day which made us feel more comfortable about leaving our fur baby behind. The kennels were spotless and the run area was large and well kept. We would definitely use her again.”

“Super grateful to have found Alexandra while we were passing through Taccoa! She was very flexible with our schedule and patient with Canela! We would book with her again!”

“Discovering Dogwood has been life changing for us and for our dog. Not only has it given us the freedom to travel and move about with peace of mind knowing our “only child” is in such great hands, but our dog is happier and more socialized thanks to all the new playmates he has met there. Giselle and Jeff are so professional and caring and it shows in every aspect of their business. I have lost count of the number of 5 star stays our dog has enjoyed there, but each time we drive away I feel compelled to sing their praises in this forum in hopes it might encourage someone who has never felt comfortable leaving their dog with a stranger to give Dogwood a try. This is an experience like no other thanks to Jeff and Giselle. It truly does not get any better!”

“I highly recommend Kimi! My dog Maisie stayed with her family for two nights. She gave me frequent updates and sent pictures, which was appreciated and put me at ease knowing Maisie was happy and getting regular walks. Thanks so much and we look forward to booking with Kimi again soon :)”

“My pup has at doggie day care with Hannah and Co. for a while now. Hannah is so caring and Penny has such a good time. She used to run to the fence when I left but now she just runs after Liam. Kudos to Hannah!!”

“Laura and her family took amazing care of Kiki! We loved the photos and the updates, and we could tell that Kiki had lots of love and companionship with Laura. It was particularly helpful to know that she has experience with loose leash walking. We would highly recommend Laura to anyone!”

“Chayna has kept my pup several times now. I am very happy with her and have no worries when Freyja is in her care! Chayna’s love for animals is obvious upon speaking with her. She has been very responsive and sends pictures as well. Chayna also has a nice fenced in area for Freyja to play. If I need to leave my dog in someone else’s care, Chayna is my first choice!”

“Cassandra has watched our pup twice now and we are very thankful we found her. Not only am I confident she is treating me baby like her own, I know she is safe and happy. She always sends me pics and videos throughout the stay and she plays really well with her pups!”

“This was my frost time using Rover and I was really nervous leaving my puppy. Donna was the best she took great care off out baby, she even sent us pictures during his stay. I highly recommend Donna if you want the best for your fur baby ?”

“Great experience overall. They were very accommodating to my schedule, which I really appreciated. Responded to my messages quickly and they made the whole process convenient and stress-free. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole and team were exactly what we needed for our dog. The communication was great and the Daily photos were very much appreciated. We will be sure to contact her again the next time we are in need of pet sitting services.”

About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and have been dog-sitting for the past 4 years! I also have some experience with cat-sitting. I have a mini goldendoodle named Cody that I trained with my sister. I go to Clemson University, and we have a golden doodle living with us at our house!! We let her out every morning and I am home by 2pm every day to hang out with her! We have a fenced in yard. My dog sleeps in bed with me, which is fine if that’s how your dog sleeps best, but I will also be happy to crate your dog at my home or your home! I am very flexible and want to make sure I follow your regular routine as best as I can!
About: I have always lived in a house filled with animals inside and out. We primarily had dogs for pets and would usually at least have 2, from puppies to seniors I’ve loved and cared for all sizes and would love to care for your fur babies as well! There is no size too big or too small, I adore all very much and know how worrying it is to leave your pet in someone else’s care, I assure you they would be loved very much while in my hands! I work from home so I have plenty of time and availability to spend and care for your fur baby while you’re away! I do have my step children every other weekend so communication will be key if your pet is not child friendly and if your schedule will work for me, but I am open to working with you as much as I can! I currently have 2 indoor dogs, both crate and (mostly) potty trained. I have a mid sized boxer and a small mix breed, they are both girls that are dog and kid friendly and as sweet as can be. I have plenty of yard space(not fenced), a quiet road to walk them on, and a runner for solo outside/potty time. I do live in a dog neighborhood with lots of distractions so your fur baby would be kept on a leash at all times when outdoors
“Kristi goes the extra mile as a pet sitter. She updated me with fantastic pictures and positive comments. She is patient with my puppy Jasper and me. She's also very considerate. I will hire her again and keep in touch.”

“My two dogs loved it, they had plenty of space to roam & play fetch. They were so excited to see us, as if to say “we had a great time”. Such a great location, 2 fenced acres to run & play! Pepper sent pictures & video, great comfort. We were traveling to Greenville for a conference & had no idea what to expect. Very happy.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
