“Kate was wonderful with our dog Cricket. She took him on short notice, brought him on a hike and sent us cute pictures. Best of all is her majestic dog Cedar, who immediately made friends with our pup. Taking Cricket to Kate’s place felt like the best type of summer camp in gorgeous Vermont woods. We will absolutely be booking again soon. Cannot recommend Kate and Cedar enough!”

I have a small dog and a “small dog friendly” medium sized dog for playmates as well as a large fenced yard! I have years of experience with training dogs and knowledge of dog behaviors. I offer care specific to your dog’s needs and can provide drop in visits, walks or hikes and daycare or overnight stays in my home. We have a fully fenced yard in the woods.

“Zach is incredible!! A true dog whisperer. I have left my 4 month old puppy, Goose, with Zach a few times and he takes such wonderful care of him. My pup is a little nervous around people and other dogs but seems to absolutely thrive with Zach and Alfie. I received frequent updates, pictures and videos which made me feel so at ease. I’m so grateful for the care and affection that he gives Goose! Looking forward to more visits in the future! 🐶💕”

“Lorrie was fantastic! Jiminy had a great time and I he really loved her immediately! It was wonderful to have time to take a college tour and not worry about him. Definitely would use her again!”

“Where to begin? Everything was amazing from start to finish. It’s the most comforting feeling to have someone you love (our pup) being left in safe hands. Kasey truly loves what she does and absolutely loves taking care of our little furry ones. It truly shows. We most definitely will be back since we frequent Vermont bi-annually. Thank you for everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”

About: I work remotely for an international development organization based in DC. My schedule is flexible, leaving me plenty of time to spend outdoors with some new furry friends! I have always loved taking care of dogs and come from a large, dog-owning family. I have extensive experience dog walking and sitting both small and large breeds, from Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to Labs to Bernese Mountain Dogs! I currently own a 4 year old white shepherd named Storm who loves to walk and play with other dogs. I am open to taking our pups on walks together, on trail hikes, or to the dog park. Available for daily walks, drop in visits, and dog sitting. I look forward to meeting you! Also open to discussing boarding in our home, pending meet and greet with my dog Storm. I work remotely from home, so I am flexible when taking care of dogs. Happy to work with you on a recurring schedule, or for one-time walks/visits! I work remotely full-time from home and my schedule is flexible. I take my dog, Storm, out for short (less than 30 min) and longer walks (over 1 hour) 2-3 times a day. We also enjoy using nearby trails, as well as the trails on our property. I currently live in a farmhouse in Royalton. There is no fenced in area, but we have trails on our property for dogs to walk (on leash) or run (depending on your comfort and their recall).

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs for my entire life. Currently, I own a small 9lb rescue, who is 11 yrs old. In the past, I have owned medium and large dogs as well, including beagles, labs, retrievers. I have professionally and personally walked and fed dogs for neighbors and friends, our furry ones are the very best!! I am a self-employed yoga instructor, with a flexible schedule. With this flexibility, I can accommodate most days and times, both weekdays and weekends. I am organized, punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and communicative. I really enjoy walking every day and it's always better with a dog! My dog, Bodhi, fetches sticks in our backyard and stills plays like a puppy, even at 11yrs old! I take him hiking regularly, as well as to the surrounding parks, which are numerous and all within walking distance from where I live.

About: I’m a fur mama of one 85lb , 3 year old mush who is hyper, energetic , and very needy. I love taking him on walks, to the beach, and anywhere he can go to get his energy out. My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . I would love to give someone the opportunity to go on vacation without the Warriors of their pet being lonely or not getting the attention they deserve. I’m well experienced in dogs of all breeds and sizes and emotional/ physical needs. I am a teacher Monday- Friday but have weekends and summers off. I can be there before and after school, as well. Weekends I am free. I want to offer your pet lots of love, care and engagement while you are traveling. I try to keep them on their normally scheduled routine and work with the pet parent to make sure they are comfortable or have any special requests.

Laurie P.
“There are three things that set Laurie apart from other dog sitters: 1. She is reliably caring and understanding with our pet. She gets our dog, and loves her quirks. 2. Laurie is totally dependable. She trekked through 12’’ of snow up a steep driveway to visit our pet on a cold, winter morning. 3. Laurie is proactive about resolving problems whether they are behavioral, medical or something else. If your pet won’t take her medicine, she can handle it. If your pet needs some extra TLC, she can handle it. Laurie also walks our dog, sits with her and gives her much-needed attention and checks in with texts, photos and videos. I highly recommend her.”

Laura P.
“Laura was a fabulous cat sitter. When I first met Laura it was clear that she had a deep love of animals and it showed with the care of my cat. I have an older cat that needed special care while I was out of town. She made sure she got her meds daily, dry food and water. She also cleaned her litter box and kept the house clean and tidy. I can highly recommend Laura for any type of animal care.”

Dionna D.
“I am extremely impressed with Dionna! I asked her to watch my dog Sprinkles when I went on vacation. I gave her directions of how to take care of Sprinkles and she followed step by step. She updated me frequently and didn't hesitate to ask questions if unsure of something. Highly recommend!!”
