About: Since a young adult, I have loved having pets. At first I just had cats, and I love them! Later in life I became a dog mom too. Currently we have 1 big dog and 1 cat; we live in the forest and they are in and out all day long! They both get along well with other animals. I am a teacher and so will be off for summer! I will have plenty of time to give your pet the love it needs! We live in a quiet neighborhood in the forest; while we don’t have a fenced area, there are nice roads and paths to walk dogs. The area Down by our stream is quiet and private- we take our pets here regularly and let them run around. We also take long leash walks. I have a medium and large size kennels if your pet is used to crates.

With a natural affinity for animals, I enjoy working with many different critter personalities and always honor and meet any animal where they are at. I have experience with senior pets and I am comfortable administering medications with instructions. I firmly believe that you are the expert on your fur kids- I use a great attention to detail to do my very best to enrich any animal’s life with all of the information on hand, rather than taking a cookie cutter approach. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home,which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life. They are my favorite living being ever! I adore them so much and want to spend as much time with them as I can. I have a lot of experience with dog sitting, at least 5 years (in home). I don’t have as much experience with cats, but they’re growing on me! I’d be happy to watch your cat as well. I can do anything you may need me to do. I am a CNA, Medication Aide, and Medical Assistant, so I’m very familiar with small procedures your pet may need. For summer break, I am working a lot, but I’d still love to be considered even though our schedules may not align. There may be a break in mine for some reason allowing me to service you! Currently I’m working: Sunday: 4pm-11pm Monday: 7am-7pm Tuesday: 7am-7pm Wednesday: 7am-7pm Thursday: 4pm-10pm Friday: 12pm-11pm Saturday: 7am-3pm It’s a lot but I love working hard! That’s what summer break is all about :) I have the most experience in others’ homes, since I can’t have animals in my home. I am willing to do anything and everything you ask of me. With my schedule, a lower maintenance pet would probably be the best, but I can always mess around with my schedule a little if it can help you!

About: When I was born my mom and dad had 2 dogs, Petey and Jersey. A jack Russel and a Border Collie, I grew up with them and they grew up with me. There was never a time after them that we didn’t have at least 1 dog in the house at all times, most of the time it was 2 dogs and 2 cats. Sometimes it was more sometimes it was less. I’ve helped raise countless puppies and watched many dogs grow old. I’ve taught many puppies how to sit, potty correctly, I’ve bathed and dried. I’ve played with them for hours on end and most importantly gave them all the required attention. I love dogs so much, it is my genuine favorite thing to spend time with dogs. I currently work 4 am - 1 pm, so any time after 1 pm and on my lunches I am available for dog walking and drop ins. On Wednesday and Thursday I am off of work and am available for house sitting. I do not care for dogs in my home but with certain circumstances I may be able to care for your cat, if need be they would be in one of our 2 bedrooms.
