“Cassidy did an AMAZING job house sitting for our 2 kitties for the 10 days we were on vacation. She read all 9 pages of instructions even before our meet & greet and followed the intricate feeding requests for both kitties. Each needs different dry food for UTI prevention and weight management, 1 needs a probiotic, they get a different bedtime snack - Cassidy was a pro following everything and reached out when we needed to troubleshoot for one of the kitties. She played with their favorite toys, took the cutest photos, and really cared about them. Her kind and gentle demeanor made it so easy for them to get acclimated quickly. This was our longest time away from them, but I felt completely at peace and reassured they were in great hands. Cassidy also left the place looking immaculate when we got back. The trash was even clean and she put our mail on the counter. When we came back, the kitties looked completely content and came up to us like, ‘Who are you and where is Cassidy?’ lol. About: Ever since I was a kid, I've been an animal lover. I've taken care of animals (both for myself and for others) for over 15 years. I've dog-sat, cat-sat, and chicken-sat for many friends and family members in that time. Since many of the pets I grew up with have begun to leave my life due to old age, I've found myself wanting to spend time with critters more. I figured why not look here to see what people may need help ensuring their pets get the proper care and attention they deserve. I am naturally a cat person, but have also learned how to work with, train, and play with dogs as a result of being around them so often. I try to balance being fun + compassionate along with being a calm but stern presence when necessary. And I'm happy to offer any and all pets a little extra playtime or attention if they need it as well (: I work from home, and have a relatively flexible schedule at least half of the week most of the time. I have time to shift my schedule around to accommodate pet care throughout the week. My only limit is often how many days out of the week I can work, but not what specific days I can watch someone's pets. My weekends can happen whenever during the week! It's important to me to start slow and develop a connection with someone's pet before acting too comfortable around them. Having ample play time, walk time, relaxation time, and a healthy amount of treats help get that process in motion. Ideally I'd love to find people I could work with regularly, strictly because I value developing a solid relationship with people's pets more than just "showing up and doing my job" - though I am very capable of doing that as well!

About: I have several pets of my own. Over the years I have volunteered with shelters as well as taking care of my own animals. I have dealt with bigger dogs, small dogs, and lots of cats! I love animals and will do whatever I can to ensure a happy and healthy environment! I currently work part time over the summers in Pennsylvania and go to school in Ohio over the rest of the year. I can work in both places, it just depends on what time of year. My account will have my area provided for which one for whichever time of year. Normally I have a 8 hour shift, I do have a couple days off a week and still have plenty of time before and after work to take care of animals. I also have my lunch break. I will follow whatever instructions are provided by the client. I will stick to any dietary needs, exercise needs, and any attention needs the animal has. I am willing to clean litter boxes if it is a cat and obviously I will pick up after a dog on a walk. I keep a very close eye on the animal(s) and make it my primary focus when taking care of them.

FYI- I live 5 mins away from Hersheypark… bring your dog for to me for doggy daycare if you plan on taking a weekend/daytrip to Hershey or Hersheypark! I’m currently working full time. I pet sit and dog groom on the side of my full time job. Weekends is when I have the most time to spend with the dogs. During the week I still give them plenty of loving but it’s before work and after work due to my schedule. I will always make sure they are on a leash when outside if there is no fence.
