“We just returned home from a week long trip and used a house sitter for our dogs for the first time. We found Will on Rover.com and he was great! He was upfront about it being his first house sitting job and he came and met with me and the dogs twice before us leaving to let the dogs get used to him a bit. He checked in with us almost everyday to give an update, sent photos and videos of the boys playing, and reached out with any questions he had and to see if I had a preferences before he did something. I was really nervous about leaving my dogs and house with someone I didn’t know but Will attentiveness put me completely at ease. We will 100% use him again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors and families pets for extended periods (~7-10 days). I found a litter of feral kittens this past summer and cared for them until finding them homes. I’ve also watched many breeds of dogs from chihuahuas to mountain dogs. I’m available most days and hours as I don’t have much of a routine as this is my current source of income during my time of from college. My personal dogs are able to be off leash constantly as I am from a farm background which allows them to have a lot of space. The dogs I’ve watched often have fenced in yards that I’ll play with them in and let them outside on a schedule the owner has requested.

About: Life long, I grew up with cat's and dogs. Along with other animals in the household. Mainly growing up with two cat's and a herding dog but also two small lap dogs. I'm working Fridays and weekends. Along with heading to college in the second to last week of August so right now Monday - Thursday are my available days I have two pet Friendly dogs that love to play and I would take them to dog parks to be able to get energy out in a safe and monitored environment.

About: I’ve always had pets growing up. I’ve learned to care for pets responsibly and give them the love and attention they need everyday. I make sure I’m attentive and fun for all the pets I take care of. I’m in college and can do any job during my breaks and weekends work the best most of the time. Also the summer I am mostly free. I’ll always make sure that your pets are leashed while outside and will make sure your doors are locked in case of possible intruders. I will always keep an eye on your pet so they don’t get up to mischief.

“Rowan did a phenomenal job taking care of our sweet pup! She gave updates throughout the weekend with pictures, which we loved and appreciated. Our dog can sometimes be iffy with new people, but she took very well to Rowan off the bat and Rowan helped ease any worries or concerns we had.”

“We booked Whitney as we were traveling out of state for a wedding and the hotel did not allow dogs to be left unattended. This was the first time we’ve used a service like Rover and left our furbaby Wendy with someone who was not a family member. Whitney put us at ease and Wendy immediately took to her and her daughter. Whitney and her daughter were fantastic with our little girl Wendy! They listened to our concerns and followed our care instructions for Wendy. Whitney was so flexible and accommodating as she watched our furbaby in our hotel room as we were at family events for 2 days. She was in constant contact with us and sent pictures whenever we requested and often time she sent on her own. We plan on visiting Vermont in the future and using Whitney again. About: My parents bred our labs a couple of times when I was a kid, so puppies and dogs have always been in my life. In college I bought my own puppy and had her for a wonderful almost 10 years. She was my best friend and I talked to her and kissed her all of the time. She made me feel happy when my days were gray. Since then I’ve dog sat for multiple families and borrow my friends’ dogs to go for walks and adventures since I no longer have a pup of my own. I work three 12 hour shifts a week so I would love to spend my free days with dogs. I’ve watched my friends dogs even on work days because I work 7a-7 p so I can be there for breakfast and dinner. Most of the time I’ve stayed in their homes so that the dog feels most comfortable. I have no other pets in my home and your pup will get all the belly rubs and scratching they need. I love to go for walks and be active with the dogs (of course only if they’re capable)
