About: What sets me apart... 1. I bring the full pet parent experience... ... I've spent years caring for animals of all ages and energy levels—from spunky puppies to senior sweethearts with soulful eyes and slower strides. 2. I’ve been a foster mom, matchmaker, and canine translator... ... Many of the dogs I fostered found their forever homes within 48 hours. That experience taught me how to read dog body language, adapt quickly, and provide calm, confident care, no matter the dog’s temperament or background. 2. I don’t take chances with safety... ... Even the best-trained pups can get curious or spooked. That’s why I always use an AirTag when a dog is in my care. Just a little added peace of mind for us both. And, if you'd like... I would be more than happy to share our location with you too! 3. My old dog (whose name is apparently a Rover security risk) taught me everything I know... ... These days, I travel too much for a pup of my own, but I’ve still got all that dog parent energy, and nowhere to put it... except into caring for yours. 4. I’m up with the sun (and also cool with twilight strolls)... ... Whether you need a one night stay or a longer stretch of house sitting, I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to keep your routines rolling. 5. Sometimes, there’s bonus help... ... Depending on his schedule, my partner (a longtime shelter volunteer) may be able to join me. He’s calm, gentle, and no joke, every cat so far has liked him more than me. Think of it as bonus ear scratches and nose boops. But your comfort comes first... just let me know your preference. ***I am currently welcoming new clients through Rover in addition to the longtime private clients I’m lucky to work with. While I’m based in the Northeast Kingdom this summer, I’ve set my profile to Morristown to help broaden my booking radius. I regularly care for pets in the Waterbury/Stowe area and often travel to Charlotte, Jericho, and the Mad River Valley to support families I’ve built trusted relationships with.*** Here’s to belly rubs, tail wags, and all the joy our four-legged companions bring. I can’t wait to meet yours. I am working towards making animal care (dog/cat sitting and walking) my full time job... hence I have a flexible schedule and am available to care for your animals... be it on short notice or for extended periods. As a sincere pet lover with years of experience, you can trust that your four-legged ones will be in safe, capable, and loving hands. As a former innkeeper and park ranger, I bring a commitment to care and responsibility to every dog/kitty-sitting experience. I understand and appreciate how important your animal's routine is and will honor it to keep them feeling secure and happy while you’re away. I believe in the "leave no trace" philosophy, so when you return, the only sign of my visit will be a content, well cared for furry friend. Just as I took pride in leaving each space better than I found it in my previous roles, I’ll treat your home with the same respect and attention to detail. You can trust that your doggo/kitty's safety, comfort, and daily routine are my top priorities

About: My family and I are pet lovers and have 2 of our own. We live in the outskirts of town in a quiet old farm house with a backyard so plenty of space for activities. Walking, hiking, and fetch are our favorites. I have done house/ dog sitting for many friends and people in the past and now that my daughter is older I would love to get back to it. During your pet's stay, we will go for many walks as well as hikes on any of the surrounding trails. We live very close to the Rail Trail, our pup loves going for walks and jogs there. We have a nice backyard for outdoor play, we, unfortunately, do not have a fenced-in yard. Weekends are completely free for me, that's when I get free time to do fun outdoor activities with my daughter and our pup. Your fur baby will have 100% of my attention on weekends, During the week I have a full-time M-F job fairly close to home. I hope you consider our family for your fur babies' stay! “Maria did an excellent job with our pup Mango (a large male golden retriever), who was at that tough adolescent stage when she started working with him. Mango has noise anxiety, is still developing leash walking skills and lacks confidence when other dogs are around. She regularly walked him several times a week and it went so well. Maria developed a relationship with Mango and explored various options to see what would work best with him. She was able to get him engaged in activities that pushed his boundaries in positive ways, fostering growth and additional confidence. She integrated her own pup in walking to give Mango a positive model to follow when he felt nervous. By the end, Maria had Mango making successful trips to the dog park and exploring new trails and that would not have been possible without her caring efforts. Maria was extremely professional, reliable and a pleasure to engage with. I would highly recommend her.”

About: Hi, I’m Jess, I’ve had animals my entire life, currently have 2 pups of my own. I also have worked at an animal shelter for over 12 years, which included kennel care, dogs walks from puppy, easy walkers to harder walker that needed extra guidance. Also included socializing the dogs from super shy ones to clingy out going ones. Also have cat experience from shy timmed cats to also clingy out going ones. Have experience with having to give pets meds and recovery times if needed. I enjoy talking my pups for walks, hikes and play times, Hi, I’m currently a stay at home mom to my daughter who would need to come with me time to time. I would be able to do drop in visits or walks with your pets including photos and updates while we are there. I have a fenced yard for my pups, go on daily walks. And weekly hikes. Tons of love snuggles and playtime for them. I would make sure they get everything they needed rather it’s snuggling or getting the playtime zoomies out.

About: My parents bred our labs a couple of times when I was a kid, so puppies and dogs have always been in my life. In college I bought my own puppy and had her for a wonderful almost 10 years. She was my best friend and I talked to her and kissed her all of the time. She made me feel happy when my days were gray. Since then I’ve dog sat for multiple families and borrow my friends’ dogs to go for walks and adventures since I no longer have a pup of my own. I work three 12 hour shifts a week so I would love to spend my free days with dogs. I’ve watched my friends dogs even on work days because I work 7a-7 p so I can be there for breakfast and dinner. Most of the time I’ve stayed in their homes so that the dog feels most comfortable. I have no other pets in my home and your pup will get all the belly rubs and scratching they need. I love to go for walks and be active with the dogs (of course only if they’re capable)

About: From a young age, I've always loved being around pets, so caring for others' pets comes naturally to me. I adore animals, but unfortunately, I'm not able to have any of my own where I currently live. Pets are naturally drawn to me and feel safe in my care, and their owners are consistently pleased when they return home after I've looked after their beloved companions. I make sure to leave every home as clean and tidy as it was when I arrived, often going the extra mile to wash any bed linens and towels I've used. My clients greatly appreciate not having to worry about these details when they return from their travels. I'm also very discreet, respecting the privacy of the people, pets, and homes I care for, and I never share any private information about my clients. Thank you for the opportunity to share my love for animals and get my fill of puppy and kitty affection! I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to spend most of the day taking care of your furry friends in your home. When I stay in your home to care for your cherished furry friends, their safety is always my top priority. I have a spotless track record from all my previous stays, and I intend to maintain it.
