About: Hello, My name is Monique. I currently have 2 dogs of my own that, I only just realized have officially entered seniorhood. I currently work at a local vet clinic here in Ithaca so I am also up to date and knowledgable about different breeds, foods, treats, and everything cat and dog! Ive been pet sitting and walking since the age of 13 Which has helped me learn all about caring for animals at all ages. From 4 weeks up till seniority, I can do it all and love every minute of it. Taking care of animals is something im extremely passionate about. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry(or feathered or scaled) friend! I currently do work full time and have 2 kidsof my own; and my work schedule does change from week to week but with a little bit of planning, im able to make most things work! Never be afraid to ask if you dee something and are unsure if im the right fit for you! Rover inly lets me specify certain details. I take all safety precautions, double leashes, prong collars(if provided), harnessed walkes, anything that YOU say works best for your pet, I am doing. I dont like to take the risk!

About: I am great with animals, I'm also a big fan of animals in general. Many weekends you can find me at the zoo, and I know an unnecessary amount of animal fun facts. I grew up with a cat, dog, and my own tropical fish aquarium. I have plenty experience walking dogs, both my own, and dogs belonging to members of the community in NYC. I have a pampered pet cat, and know that they shouldn't be treated the same as dogs. Cats: - Experience with many cats - Cat sit for friends and family - Happy to clean litter boxes - Will bring cat toys - Understand that cats have complex emotions Dogs: - Used to tri-daily walking schedule - Happy to pick up poop - Listed as a trusted dog walker for BAIP - Know that dogs take time to trust people Other: - Won't overfeed fish - Just tell me how to care for your pet, and I'm on it As of right now, my schedule is completely open, and I am more than happy to work around whatever schedule works best for you. Just let me know! Each animal is unique to each household, and my philosophy when it comes to animal care, is trusting that the owners know best. In other words, I follow exactly what the owners tell me to do. If you tell me that your Great Dane will only go potty if I spin around in circles 3 times, then it looks like I'm spinning. When it comes to animals trusting me, I understand that trust isn't inherent. Generally it come from the correct tone, getting on their level, and as many pats and treats as necessary.

About: I would love to help out with your pet! I have years of experience caring for all types of animals. From walking, sitting, feeding, or just spending time with them. I would love to find a time that works best for you to help out your pet! I offer house-sitting, drop-in visits, and walking. I take the responsibility of caring for any animal seriously and will communicate with you directly. I can send photos and updates on how your pup or kitty are doing throughout the day.

“Vincent was amazing with my two pitties - he kept me updated throughout the day with photos and notes on how they were doing. I get a little anxious leaving them overnight, but he was great to work with and put my mind at ease. My dogs can be a little leash reactive and one of them gets a shot every other day on top of a few other medications, but he was able to handle all of that no problem. I definitely recommend him and will be booking with him in the future!”

Monique J.
“Monique is WONDERFUL! I actually met her at her job, Petland. I was shopping for a new collar and some toys for my boxer mix and I was going on about how I was trying to find someone to watch him for the weekend while I went away on business, and she mentioned that she actually did dog sitting and would love to do it. The next day I met with her and my little Billy got to see her house and meet her dogs, everyone immediately hit it off amd it was set! She sent me LOADS of pictures and videos of Billy having fun with her and her dogs, even ahowing me that she took him to the pool. It really helped reassure me, especially since this is the first time spending the weekend away from him. She really is the greatest and her love for dogs is evident.”

Ryan M.

Samuel S.Star Sitter
“I am happy to provide a testimonial for Sam for his love of animals and his responsible care of cats, dogs, fish, and a snake. Sam was a daily walker for Tinkerbell, a lab mix in New York city, and was incredibly responsible in making sure that "Bell" got her exercise and love - but was also kept safe from various distractions and dangers in the city. Sam also took care of my cats, and he showed the same amount of affection and deep connection to those fur babies as well. He is a responsible college student with his own transportation.”

Sometimes I have to travel out of state to see family and she does not like road trips so he will come over spend time with her, walk her and feed her. He is gentle and patient with her and plays with her when I can't be there with her. Highly recommend.”
