Initially, I was a bit nervous about dropping off my 8 month old pup, Blue, just because I wasn't entirely sure how he would do in a new environment without me and other dogs present. Blue settled in super fast and had the best day! Alex was reassuring and sent updates throughout the day with pictures and videos that were so appreciated. Blue was in awesome hands and I'm so grateful he had fun with new friends, lots of space to run around, and an awesome caregiver in Alex and his family. Blue can't wait to return and I feel so grateful to have a trusted and safe home for my pup when we need to be apart. Thank you, Alex!”

“We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

About: My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside. I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats. Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. I am flexible about scheduling, and I welcome long term stays. I am also happy to accept last minute requests. I own my home...I don't have a fenced yard, but will walk my dog guests frequently, as i do like to be outdoors...I enjoy having dogs in my home, and spending lots of time with them. They are welcome on the furniture and to sleep on the bed..

She sends frequent updates and is so patient! My puppy is still learning to be consistent with manners, and Charlene even helped by training her on the leash and doing tricks. The only reason I would not recommend is so that she would always be free for my Pebble! I cannot say enough good things. NEVER HESITATE TO BOOK WITH CHARLENE! About: I have been lucky enough to spend time with dogs of a range of ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups who need a slower pace and a gentle touch. I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs, just let me know! I take time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious dogs, and I always move at their pace. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can respond quickly if something seem off. But most importantly, I make sure that they're safe and happy, while waiting for their favorite person to come back to them. Caring for the fluffy angels is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize in my daily life. My schedule is flexible and I can work from home, which means I can dedicate quality time to walks, play, feeding, and companionship without rushing. Whether I'm welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in their own space, I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a quiet apartment surrounded by forest and green space, with very little car traffic in the neighborhood, which is perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor sniff time. At my place, I maintain a clean and cozy space with plenty of room for your doggie or kitty to lounge, play, or nap. In your home, I'll respect the privacy and cleaness of your space. I will follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules and favorite toys, because I know how important familiarity and consistency is to their happiness.

About: I have been around all sorts of animals since I was young, especially cats and dogs. I have since grown my experience into hedgehogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and snakes. I have a wide variety of knowledge, and plan on expanding that throughout my life. I currently have a beautiful friendly nanny dog who has cancer and has had to take oral medication so I’ve gotten familiar with administering oral medication. I can care for puppies and elderly dogs that are deaf or blind. My open schedule makes me a perfect fit for animals that have separation anxiety as someone is always home. I’m open to taking other animals as well, birds, hamsters, snakes, hedgies as long as their enclosures and food were provided I’d be delighted to care for your little furry, scaled or spiked friend. I am a stay at home mom of three children (2 school aged), who love and respect animals as much as I do. I have a very open schedule to entertain and care for your pet as I do my own. My open schedule works well for animals with separation anxiety. I live in an old historical home, with a large clean yard for bathroom visits, we often take walks as a family and include of four legged member as long as she’s up for it. We do a morning and night feeding routine, lots of potty breaks and enrichment. We also have access to a local dog park, and little treats for our furry friends. I’d also like to address that I have small children, 5,4 and 2 who each love and care for animals. They have learned young to always respect animals however I’d never put your animal in a position that they were alone or unsupervised with the children for accident prevention.

About: I've had dogs my entire life, but really started taking a lot of responsibility for their care around 12. From small breeds to large, I've loved them all! I have experience with behavioral issues, medication administration, seizures, and other medical issues. I'm a stay at home mom of two beautiful disabled children. We have one cat and one dog. I'm always home and available during the day for boarding. We have nice, big yards and we live in a very friendly neighborhood! I'd also love to help take care of your babes on the weekends, evenings, and occasionally during the week! I have an unfenced but spacious yard. Our home has the capacity to keep everyone separated if needed, but lots of room to be together, too! We have plenty of room for a crate, if that's how your sweet babe thrives, but we also support snuggles during sleep, too!

About: My parents and I used to breed and raise black labs for years during my childhood, so I am very experienced and easy going with just about any animal. I Currently driver Uber and run an online business so I am all around pretty flexible since I have no set work schedule for either! I have a large house with a very open backyard perfect for animals to run around and get their energy out. The yard is not fenced in, but I have a close line with a leash and hook that allows dogs to move freely throughout the yard.
