About: I have experience with cats, smaller dogs and large dogs from growing up with chihuahua’s, labradors and yorkies. I currently own a mini golden doodle named Thor and a Corgi named Bryn who I trained myself. As well as two indoor cats, Squirt and Athena. I am currently a stay at home dog mom so I plan to make this my main focus. I have the time needed to properly care for your animals. I will make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible. Any schedule you may have is welcome and I will follow it to the best of my abilities. For house sitting, I can also do simple tasks such as water plants and bring the mail. I am more than willing to do a meet and greet before said appointments to ensure all parties get familiar and are comfortable.

About: We have raised small and large dogs from puppies to senior dogs. Both of us have experience with potty training and special needs, including post-surgery rehabilitation and assisting dogs with toileting when they are unable to stand on their own. We are also available for drop-in visits and dog walking. Pet taxi services are available upon request. My husband Ronnie and I have 50+ years of experience raising and caring for various dog breeds. We have two small dogs that live in our home and one outside dog. My husband is off every Tuesday and Wednesday, and I have a flexible schedule. We will make time for you and your pet. Your pet can expect plenty of belly rubs, hugs, kisses, and cuddles while they are with us. If they like going for a ride, they'll love our golf cart rides. There might be an occasional pup cup. We have plenty of room for your dog to run and play outside, but the yard is not fenced. We monitor the dogs while outside. We live on three acres of land in the country with a tank on the back part of our land. Your dog will be inside/outside, just like our dogs. We also have plenty of playtime in our house. Please let us know if your pet has any allergies, dietary or medication needs. Crating is available as well. We have three crates here to support your dog's needs. You can expect plenty of updates and pictures of your pet having a dog gone good time!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was very young. I have two of my own fur babies who I adore. I have taken care of many family and friends animals and would love to continue helping! I am currently a college student on break who is looking for a job to do now and when I come back for thanksgiving and Christmas break! I am almost completely free right now. I live on land and have 5 dogs. All ranging from a Doberman to a chihuahua! They all get a lot of playtime and have a huge space to run around and have a scheduled feeding time. I hope to help your pet have a schedule and have a fun time with me:)

About: While growing up, I’ve had many animals such as hermit crabs, birds, dogs, cats, and fishes. I was always helping to feed them, take them on walks, and make sure they were in a loving environment. I am currently in school at a university but I have only two in person classes so my schedule is very open! Most days and nights work for me. I will make sure to feed them and love them the whole time I am with your pets. I will also get to know you and what specific needs you have for your pets

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
