“Evelyn is a wonderful and responsible walker and sitter and takes great care of my dog Freckles. She always spends a full 30 minutes with her (and often longer) and makes sure she has lots of love and attention while I’m away at work. When it’s very hot she pays special attention to Freckles’ comfort and will take her back inside to cool off if she needs it, but still makes sure the visit is the full length of time. I always receive detailed follow-up and adorable photos when the walk is done. Evelyn has had to deal with a couple accidents and has been gracious in cleaning them up before putting Freckles back in her crate. I (and Freckles) highly recommend Evelyn!”

About: I’m a volunteer for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and help train service animals. I’ve worked with all ages of dogs and get to know each of them for who they really are. I’ve worked with 8 week old puppies and 10 year old dogs too! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty time to walk and watch over pups! I’m pretty active so I love to go on adventures and play around! I have a semi fenced in yard and 3 playful dogs! My personal pets aren’t crated but I have plenty of experience housing pups that are! I have a spacious backyard for lots of running and playing too!

About: I am a 26 year old who has always had a love for caring for animals. I have owned dogs all my life. A springer spaniel named Kramer, a black lab named Bernie and currently have a 7 year old yellow lab named Larry. I have watched many family members dogs of all sizes while they have gone away age ranging from puppies to older dogs, so I have experience with all kinds. I love being around any kind of dog whether it is walking them, or just hanging out with them all day. I have grown up with dogs and have owned them at all ages so I am comfortable with dogs of any age and size. I am very responsible and will care for your dog as if it is my own! I work 8:30-5 Monday through Friday but am free after 5 and on weekends. i currently work an 8:30am - 5pm job monday - friday. i’m available weekdays after five and on the weekends i am free for check ins i live in an apartment complex and also owns. cat who doesn’t get along well with dogs so i wouldnt be able to take dogs in

About: I have always been an animal lover and grew up with dogs. I'm a former full time dog walker. I loved working with dogs but got overworked and had to take a break. I'm ready to return to the work I love!! I have a talent for winning over even the most antisocial pets. I pay great attention to each dog's individual needs. I love hanging out with low energy senior pets just as much as energetic puppies. I take great photos. I'm good at communicating if I run into issues that require notifying a pet parent. I am currently looking for a day job an an apartment in the area. Dog walking is a nice way to familiarize myself with the area and brighten my days :) I'm always very focused on the pet I'm taking care of and less so on what kind of stuff is in your apartment or if it's a little messy. I'm never showing up to judge! I do clean up when I see a mess that's been caused by a pet or hazardous to their health. I have a lot of experience entering different types of buildings from my time as a dog walker in 2020! I know how to confidently talk to the front desk of a luxury building or how to navigate an older building. I have experience with caring for dogs after a walk, making sure they have water and giving them dinner or a treat.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s dogs for many years. I make sure to walk them every day with a balanced meal. I will bathe your dog if requested or as needed. I’m a recent college graduate so I’m available most of the week. I’m ready to devote myself to giving care to animals and I love spending time with them. I live in an apartment with my partner and our two cats so, I’ll only be able to provide services at the client’s house. I will take the dog on leash if there is no fence. I have worked in animal clinic in the kennel so I experience with crating dogs at night. I additionally love spending time with cats and will play with them. I like to meet cats where they are at and not push their boundaries.

About: I've had dogs in my family for over 30 years and cats for over 10 years! Animals should be treated with kindness and love because that's what they give us. I understand the time and attention that new pets require as well as the gentle and caring touch that all pets deserve. I've always been my friend's dog sitter and own two cats of my own. I'm a teacher so I will be free for most of the summer during the week. I enjoy the outdoors so would love to take your dog for a walk and also care for your cat or dog indoors. I've never had a fish but would happily check in on those water babies as well! At this time, I am not able to board your cat or dog in my apartment as I have two cats of my own. Thanks.

About: My love for animals began early on once I rescued my first childhood pet. Throughout my life I have walked and taken care of animals however, my love grew insurmountably when I rescued my first dog (Gordy) myself. Gordy and I loved walking, hiking, going on adventures, and snuggling. Unfortunately, in November 2024 he was diagnosed with a variety of complicated health problems and passed away in April 2025. That journey led me have experience in handling diabetic dogs (giving insulin, being aware of behavioral changes, and giving medication). I also have some experience/knowledge in dog training as Gordy was a canine good citizen. I am acutely aware of how to successfully walk and handle hyperactive pups and love to provide other enriching activities. I am communicative and love interacting with both dogs and humans and I find it important to gain the trust of you as I know all too well how much your pup means to you. I am a licensed mental health counselor who currently works primarily at home. I have a flexible schedule allowing plenty time for a good walk and enrichment while also providing appropriate downtime and attention. While I do live in an apartment, I have access to a number of parks in the Troy area while also willing to travel to surrounding areas for more fun.

About: I am a high energy pawsitive walker and patient kind trainer. Dog instantly bond with me and have fun in my presence. Let's have fun. Currently taking full time clients and pets in all homes, weather conditions, and health conditions or ageing dogs. Happy to walk at all times of day. I am I am only pet sitting in clients homes and offering walks your neighborhood at your direction ie length, specific routes and your prefrences or needs.

About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I only work mornings and part time so that I have time for my cat as well because he needs to be watched. After my morning shifts I have all day to spend time outside to walk the dogs and get them their daily exercise. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

About: I’ve owned animals my whole life, but didn’t get into professional animal care till about 2 years ago. Since then I have worked at several daycares and been the Assistant Manager at one! I’ve been around all types of pups from your most nervous dogs to your ultra reactive barkers. I’m always willing to work with you and your dogs! I have plenty of time to see your pups as I work primarily in the morning. I am also very flexible with drop-ins and can do most last minute appointments. DISCLAIMER: I do not stay overnight for my house-sitting requests. I have 5 dogs of my own that while I’d love to bring them with me, I cannot. I am able to be there first thing in the AM and as late as needed in the afternoon. My own pup loves other dogs so if you’re comfortable with your pup having a doggy friend, she is able to tag along! I am comfortable with any necessary oral medication administering, normal feedings, and normal play time with the pups! I am also able to do light training if interested. If needed, I can also do nail trims for an additional price.
