About: My family has a border collie of our own at home and he has always needed tons of care. As a herding dog, he’s always been an energetic and high maintenance guy. I am no stranger to the patience and care that goes into teaching and taking care of little humans, and that extends to animals as well. While I am home for the summer, I would love to look after your furry friends (and they’re free to help me with my school work for summer classes, too)! I am home for a short time this summer, before I move into a house in Bellingham with some of my peers. Because I am taking classes remotely this summer quarter, I will be able to care for your pets whenever I am needed! I am able to do potty breaks, walks, feeding, anything your pet needs. I will do my very best to ensure they have the care they require to make them comfortable.

This experience has given me a lot of patience and understanding of the consistency puppies need to thrive. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors, and always pay close attention to each pet’s unique routines and personalities. Whether it’s reinforcing positive behaviors, keeping an energetic puppy engaged, or providing a calm environment for an older dog, I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. About: 2 Story Home, fully fenced & very safe back yard. I am married with a dog (Lab) of my own. I take pride in our home and would do the same with yours, I don't mind helping with chores if needed as well. Dogs are family to us; we wouldn't want it any other way. Your dog would be treated as one of our own. You can rest easy knowing your dog or cat is being very well taken care of. I am responsible, reliable and honest. I do not do Rover pet sitting for the money, I do it to help others and because I absolute love all animals and truly enjoy being around them and caring for them, all ages and breeds! I started Rover after we took a vacation and found out firsthand how hard it is to find truly reliable people to pet sit. It was an awful experience and I wanted to change that for others. We need more passionate & responsible people offering pet sitting and I figured I would be part of that change. I want to contribute to our community and also reduce the number of animals which end up in rescues or shelters. Sometimes this happens due to lack of available care. We have a fully fenced yard (actually double fenced), your dog can go out or come in as needed. If you prefer to have your dog crated, just let me know your preference and adjustments can be made. Whatever makes your baby feel at home.

Sierra R.
“Sierra has sat for me on multiple occasions at my house for the past 4 years, we have one elderly dog and two energetic dogs who have needed pills and special treatment in the past. She is very punctual, easy to communicate with, and has her own way of interacting with each dog to make them feel comfortable. When we first met, she was polite, and respectful with me and ours dogs. She seemed to know her stuff - which has paid off greatly whenever we wanted to go out for longer periods of time, but worried about our older pups health. Thank you Sierra, you are much appreciated!”

Ashlee J.
“Ashlee took amazing care of my two cats while I was out of town for a week visiting family! She kept the litter box clean, made sure my cats were fed and fresh water, and she made sure to give them extra love since I was gone! I would highly recommend Ashlee for any pet sitting needs!”
