About: I grew up with cats (5 to be exact) and a dog. Since that time, I have lived with a dog for the past two year. I have been cat and dog sitting for three years in Durango and in my previous home in Salt Lake City. I love most animals and have a lot of patience and love! I work remotely 9-5 from Monday-Thursday, so I can be home with your pet all day! I can walk them before and after work, and let them out to use the bathroom anytime during the day. My only requirement is a quiet space to work and good internet. I will be patient and loving with your pet. I know it takes time for pets to warm up to new people. I am good at approaching animals slowly and calmly so that they feel safe with me!

“Haruko was amazing! She was very kind and caring to our new puppy, and went above and beyond to send photos and updates throughout the day. If you're looking for a someone to watch your pet, Haruko is the best!”

“Samatha was amazing! She fed Winter on schedule and didn’t miss any meals. She texted me each day with an update and sent a pic of Winter with it. I really appreciated that. My house was left nice and clean. It was raining and my backyard can get muddy so she was wiping my dogs feet. Winter had an accident on her bed so Samantha washed her bed for her. She was really great so I’d recommend her to everyone! She is a really sweet person!”

About: I have several years of experience pet and house sitting, including overnight and extended stays. I’ve cared for a wide range of animals—from playful puppies and senior pets with special needs to exotic pets like reptiles and birds, as well as farm animals such as goats and chickens. I’m confident handling feedings, medication, and basic training, especially for young dogs. I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their home environment, and I treat every home with respect and care while owners are away. My career is very flexible allowing freedom to live a nomadic life. I travel for work, but my home is in the San Juan Mountains. My scheduling is usually pretty flexible. Please reach out to further discuss availability. As I offer in home services and dog walking only. I will give your pets love and care in the environments that they are comfortable in. I will listen to and honor any of the owner’s requests as to the care of their furry family members. Your home and pets will be taken care of as if they were my own.

“Wren was amazing with my dogs. They took my psycho doggo out for a 4 mile run and took a bunch of photos. Also they were super flexible with my changing schedule. Would book again!”

“Ashley went above and beyond watching my elderly pup for the weekend taking her on long walks and spending tons of time with her outside. She sent tons of photos and kept me updated too. I highly recommend! Thank you so much!”

“Suede arrived on time and kept in touch with us about our dogs. The pictures she sent really helped us know they were happy dogs. I’m sure they missed us but it was much better for them to stay at home. The house was cleaned and tidy. Unfortunately for Suede she had to deal with the battery in the smoke detector chirping. Neighbor tried to fix it but it kept chirping. We arrived back on the schedule we said we would. Suede left a few hrs before we got home but she let us know she was leaving and the dogs were ok and the plants were watered. She asked I let her know as soon as we returned. Great to have good reliable help.”

“Leanna rocked it! Super responsible. Communication was on point with her from the littlest things to critical information that I would want to know. She took care of Miles like he was her own. I 100% will be using her again!”

About: I grew up on a small hobby farm where I learned to care for household pets and basic livestock. I've cared for anxious/medicated dogs before, raised baby goats who lost their mother, and cared for many senior animals making them as comfortable as possible in their old age. I currently do not have pets as I travel far too often, so Rover is also a fantastic outlet for me to get to experience the pleasantries of animals without the full-time commitment. I currently run my own business so I have the privilege of creating my own hours. My schedule is incredible flexible, and can easily cater to your needs. When staying in my clients homes, I always make sure to leave the place cleaner than when I found it. I'm always quick with my responses when clients check in with how things are going. I love the outdoors and your pup would accompany me on hiking excursions or long walks if desired! For all my feline friends, as much as I love to stay active, I also enjoy my down time where I can curl up with a good book. So whether it be a day of play, or maintaining your home while you're out of town, I got you covered! I live in a converted school bus, so days where I take your furry friends into my care will mostly consist of playing fetch at the park, long walks and hikes, and basically being out in the fresh air every minute we get! Thank you for considering my services, I can't wait to hear from you!

About: I have 2 Bernese mountain Dogs and a grey cat. We like to go for hikes and frequent trips to the river. I’ve watched friends, family and neighbors pets and would love to play with yours! Our daily schedule includes a walk in the morning, evening and before bed. Meals at breakfast and dinner. My schedule is flexible. I often take hosted pets with me wherever I go. My partner and I work as a team to take care of the animals, please consider both us as primary care-givers. Our pets are with someone at all times. Our house is small and lived in. We like to spend majority of our time outside and out of the house. We have plenty of toys and training treat to spare. We have easy access to trails, golf course and open field steps from our door. We have two friendly dogs and a cat, when house sitting our pets stay in our home, if our pets do not get a long we alternatives for watching them and hosting our guest animals. Care is dependent on the animal and/or the house we are sitting.

About: Hello there! My name is Alistair, and I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by dogs throughout my entire life. Growing up, I had the incredible bond with my childhood dog, Maxamus the Cockerspaniel. Together, we embarked on an exciting journey from South Africa to the United States at the beginning of last year. Sadly, Maxamus recently passed away at 16, leaving a void in my heart. However, this experience has motivated me to share the love and care I have for dogs with other furry companions. Being a devoted dog sitter, you can trust me to provide exceptional care for your pup. I have a wealth of experience in handling various situations, including medication administration, managing separation anxiety, and providing specialized care for dogs with joint issues or arthritis. It's my utmost priority to ensure that every dog I care for receives the attention, affection, and support they need. One thing that sets me apart is my genuine passion for snuggling up and going on thrilling adventures with dogs. I believe in creating a deep connection with each dog, understanding their unique needs, and tailoring my care to suit their individual personalities. By entrusting your furry friend to me, you can rest assured knowing that they will receive the utmost love, compassion, and companionship they deserve. I can't wait to embark on this exciting journey of caring for your dog and creating unforgettable memories together! I currently own a small business in South Africa that I am able to run remotely from home here in Denver. I am fortunate enough to have plenty of time to spend with doggos! I have a comfortable apartment that is no stranger to doggos. I am used to taking my dog out 3/4 times a day depending, but can accommodate more potty and walk breaks if needed. Doggos are allowed on the furniture ❤️

About: I’ve had a variety of pets (dogs, cats, lizards, fish, tarantulas) my entire life. I thoroughly enjoy taking care of our best buddies. I love going outdoors with our furry friends for some fun and exercise. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule! I am available with full access to transportation to meet your pet caring needs anytime anyplace. Our pet’s well being is first and foremost. I treat my animals just like one of the “pack”, they are family members, and just like family, their needs are just as important as anyone else’s in the house.

About: Dogs that come visit usually have a blast being part of the pack and end up learning some desirable behaviors with my 2 service animals Bellie and Lola. I am a retired veteran so i am free to work with dogs all day everyday, its very rewarding and works great with my schedule. I have a couple of runners set up and shade structures. When it is hot I let the dogs inside. I take the dogs out to play with my pack often. We will go on walks, throw frizbee, play tag, practice tricks, etc. I like to take the dogs swimming too if thats permitted by the owners before hand ( I have doggy life jackets).

About: I’ve taken care of every sort of critter since I was a little kid and have always been passionate about making animals a part of my life. This includes puppies, dogs with disabilities, blind cats, animals needing medication, and lots of animals with big personalities-I even have one my self (Australian blue healer). I have volunteered all over the country at different shelters while traveling and have worked for shelters and animal ranches. You could say I know a thing or two about animals. My dogs are essentially my kids and come on almost every adventure with me. With clients, I treat their dog exactly how I expect others to treat my furry ones when I’m out of town. If there is anything special that you’d like to let me know, then I am all ears. I spend most of my free time rock climbing and adventuring outdoors. I also love to read and paint, so if your dog isn’t as active, I will certainly lounge around with them :) All of my pets get better care than I think most dogs ever get and your dog will be treated just the same! My dogs are always involved in every activity and never feel left out. They all love to learn, play, walk, adventure and of course get snacks! Just let me know how you normally take care of your dog and we can make it work!

“Alistair is the biggest animal lover I know. He treats all pets with respect and tenderness. He will play endlessly with your rambunctious puppy, and he will also comfort, carry and clean your sick, elderly baby. He’s been a dog dad for 16 years and has so much empathy for animals. Your fur baby will be in great hands with Alistair.”

Jon M.
“Jon Michael J McCroskey is one of the upmost standing citizens of the valley I know. He is an expert forager, master bartender and a sensei of animal husbandry. I once thought that lizards were mentally incapable of showing and expressing emotion. Through the work of Mr. McCroskey, I have realized that lizards are only somewhat mentally incapable of showing and expressing emotion. Jon's lizard Muddy Joe Dirt Waters has shown me that anything is possible with love and some meal worms.”
