âJenny was amazing with our 6-month-old golden retriever, Winnie! Our puppy has tons of energy, and Jenny handled her with so much patience and care. Winnie had an absolute blast playing with Jennyâs dog, Remy; they were the perfect duo! We got plenty of photo updates and could tell Winnie was having the best time. We felt totally at ease knowing she was in such great hands. Highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!â

âKaylee and Nick were fantastic. Our pups were well taken care of and wore out when I picked them up. They communicated with me throughout the week and even sent a couple pics. Highly recommend and we will for sure be back.â
âThey were very good to communicate with. They were very good with my dogs. They sent me photos to let me know how my dogs were doing just super easy to get a hold of and my dogs really enjoyed being there and wasnât cooped up the whole time and they made sure to watch my dogs carefully and kept them busy so they didnât get depressedâ

âLindsay was terrific. Jason immediately felt comfortable in her home, climbing up on the coach and rolling around happily. She did a great job providing food and snuggles and walks.â

âEric was great with our girls! They were so happy and had such a good time while we were gone! Also 10 stars for his flexibility for drop off/pick up! It was a huge help when our flights were delayed coming back home! Will definitely be a repeating client!â

âTyler did a fantastic job! Jason had a blast supervising workouts and taking naps on couches. Tyler even helped Jason stay calm during a stormy evening. I will definitely use Tyler again.â

âI don't even know where to begin! This was the absolute best discovery for myself and Sammy Sue. Everything about Nicole's care was top notch. My dog has never come home so well adjusted and behaved from me being gone. Her fenced in back yard was an absolute life saver and Nicole's loving nature made Sammy feel right at home instantly. If you want your pet to receive %100 loving care while you are away then this is the place to take them! 5 stars all the way!!!!!!! We will be back for sure, as I will never board my baby girl again! So glad we found you Nicole!!!â

âJennifer was A++! This was the first time leaving our pup as he's only 6 months old. She sent us daily updates of him, videos of him playing with her dog, and he came home tired. We didn't worry about our pup for one minute while we were away. We would definitely book her again to care for our little Rowdy â¤ď¸ Can't thank her enough for taking such good care of him!â

âChelsey was a fantastic caretaker for Hawkeye while we were out of town! He loved her fenced in yard and all the walks she took him on. I loved that she sent photos and updates while we were away. She has a lovely home with a nice, fenced in backyard. We will definitely ask Chelsey to take care of our boy again!!â

Many sitters in IA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
