Travis 🐾 I have had the pleasure of growing up on a farm surrounded by around animals my entire life. My family has owned many gorgeous retrievers that I fell in love with and took care of. I’d be in charge of walking, letting them out or dog sat for the weekend once I was older. Growing up this way has been a positive learning experience that lead me to be a great dog owner. 10 years ago I adopted Sadie, my first baby. She’s a beautiful lab mix. I have learned so much in the last decade about training dogs. I’ve taken puppy training class and still use a lot of that knowledge till this day. Sadie is extremely well trained and if I could I would 100% be a dog trainer. I’m not a dog whisperer but I definitely have a good understanding of how to handle pups and adult dogs. Dogs are easily my main love, but all animals have a special place in my heart. I value the connection and constant love they show towards their owners. I treat my dog like my daughter and would love to have have more one day. It would be a pleasure to care after your family member. I work full time M-F, with the ability to stop at home during the day. Also my wife is home most Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. So we work together to let the dogs out at appropriate time and keep them on their feeding schedule. Weekends are fun times with plenty walking, hikes, swimming, and dog parks if the owner is comfortable with us doing so. We go for two to 3 walks a day with our playful lab pups. We always have dogs on leash, and we have multiple kennels for our dogs if needed.

About: I have a deep love and understanding of pets coming from a lifetime of pet ownership and a "pet family" background. About: I currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats of my own which is why I know how important and nerve wracking it can be to find a sitter you can trust. However, there are some basics things I ensure I do because it’s made a difference in my dogs’ lives. • Car safety is key, you dog will wear a harness and seatbelt in the car. • Your dog will always be leashed whether it be on a walking leash, long lead, tie out, or tandem leash to my dog who has amazing recall. If your dog is off leash trained, that is something we can discuss one on one. • They will always have access to water • They will never be left alone in cars on hot days • They will always get some kind of exercise.

A little story to illustrate my point - when we first got our puppy, my fiance wanted him to stay home in a playpen while we were working and I insisted we hire a sitter. Now every time we take Noodle outside, he tries to take himself on a walk! It is obvious he loves his time with Jessica and she is great at communicating with us and reinforcing the training techniques we're working on. Filling their water dishes, giving them their food on time. Making sure they are getting the proper exercise they need. Monthly nail trimmings. Daily exercise inside and outside of my house. Keeping their indoor and outdoor areas clean of 💩 and anything that could be potentially harmful to all pets. I always make sure there is accessible water for all the pets in my home. I also keep feeding schedules logged into my calendar on my phone so that no one ever misses a feeding. Pups go outside at least once an hour unless they show that they need to go out more frequently. Also provide play time, with running around the fenced in yard, playing with toys and tons of snuggles on the couches!

I also was a Vet tech for 2.5 years at a vet clinic so I have a lot of knowledge from that as well. I currently have two cats, sully and salami and two dogs, Cyrus who is a lab mix and Soybean who is a corgi!
