About: With many years of experience with pets of all kinds, loving and caring for animals is a passion of mine and always has been. I’ve grown up with a house full of pets my entire life. My experience has given me a natural level of comfort with animals and trust is established quickly. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, seamlessly blending into my lifestyle. Here’s how it typically fits in: 1. **Morning Care**: I start my day early to attend to the pets. This includes feeding them breakfast, refreshing their water, and taking dogs for a morning walk or play session. For cats, I ensure they have fresh food and engage them with some interactive play. 2. **Regular Check-ins**: Throughout the day, I take breaks to check on the pets, ensuring they are comfortable and have access to their essentials. This includes monitoring their behavior, providing companionship, and offering short play sessions. 3. **Afternoon Activities**: In the afternoon, I dedicate time for more structured play or training sessions, especially for dogs. 4. **Evening Routine**: As the day winds down, I prepare dinner for the pets, ensuring they receive the appropriate portions. After dinner, I spend quality time with them, offering affection and playtime before settling down for the night. By integrating pet care into my daily and weekly schedule, I ensure that each pet receives the attention, love, and care they need, while also maintaining a balanced and fulfilling routine for myself. Caring for pets, whether in my home or a client's home, involves a comprehensive approach tailored to each animal's specific needs. Here’s how I typically manage pet care: 1. **Daily Routine**: Establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial. This includes scheduled feeding times, regular potty breaks, and exercise sessions. For dogs, I ensure they get walks or playtime, while for cats, I provide opportunities for interactive play and exploration. 2. **Feeding**: I follow specific dietary guidelines based on the pet’s age, size, and health requirements. This involves measuring out portions, offering fresh water, and accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. 3. **Health and Hygiene**: Regular grooming is essential, especially for dogs with longer coats. I brush them to prevent matting and reduce shedding. 4. **Exercise and Enrichment**: Physical and mental stimulation is vital for pets. For dogs, I incorporate walks, fetch, and playdates, while for cats, I provide toys, scratching posts, and climbing structures. 5. **Safe Environment**: I ensure that the living space is safe and comfortable. This includes removing any hazardous items, providing cozy resting areas, and ensuring that pets have access to safe spaces where they can retreat when they need. 6. **Communication with Clients**: If caring for a client's pet, I maintain open communication, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns they may have. This includes sharing daily logs of activities, behavior changes, and any observations regarding their pet's health. By combining these elements, I create a nurturing and safe environment that promotes the well-being of pets in my care, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-loved.

“We are so happy to have found Jenny to care for our dogs while we’re away! She is very punctual and communicative. We loved receiving pictures of our fur babies from her every time she visited. She is very friendly and warm. Our dogs, who are normally wary of new people, both fell in love with her instantly. She didn’t even seem to mind that they are a little naughty and like to jump up on people when they first come in. We will definitely be requesting Jenny again in the future. Even when her whole neighborhood flooded while we were gone, she was putting on her boots and ready to WALK to our house to check in on our doggos. So even in a natural disaster, you can depend on Jenny to be there for your animals while you’re away.”

About: If your smaller non-shedding dog (up to 40 lbs) does not like other pets, I'm your sitter! There are no other pets in the house, and I specialize in dogs who do not like other animals. Have owned and loved dogs my entire adult life. In retirement I've chosen not to own one, but I miss those little guys so much and would love to love on your precious pet. I am retired and can fully care for your smaller (up to 40#), potty-trained, non-shedding dog. On weekends in the summer I may talk to you about your friend joining me at my camper. I will provide care for your smaller non-shedding dog without other animals in my home. Perfect for those cuddlers who would rather not have competition for my attention!

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and I can’t imagine a home without one! Growing up, I helped care for our family dog whether it was walking, feeding, playing, or giving them all the love and belly rubs they needed. Whenever my parents were away, I was the one they trusted to take over completely. Over the years, I’ve also looked after dogs for my relatives and neighbors who trusted me to care for their dogs just like my own. Whether it’s a quick walk, some playtime, or keeping up with a routine while you’re away, I treat every dog like family. I’m happy to offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs! I’m free weekdays for walks and drop-in visits. I’m willing to work with you for what you and your pet’s specific needs are. In a client’s home, I always aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, potty breaks, walk times, or playtime. I know pets feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings, so I take the time to follow your instructions carefully and give your pet the attention, affection, and structure they are used to. I always make sure pets are safe, hydrated, and never left unattended for too long.

“Jennifer was great! She was excellent at communicating and asking the right questions to get at the best care for our two senior cats. She sent updates and photos, and we felt confident our kitties were getting the best care possible while we were gone!”

About: I love to walk, so active dogs who also love it are perfect for me! I am adventurous and am up for longer walks if the weather is favorable for the pup. Learning a pets personality means a lot to me, so that I am able to tend to their wants and needs. I am very patient with young, adult, or senior pets. Enrichment is very important to their happiness and I am happy to provide that for them. Although i’m not a professional trainer. I am capable of teaching simple commands and will encourage commands that are taught. I have plenty of time to spare, given I just got back from a month long trip and need some time to settle back in to my daily life. For the next while I will have plenty of availability. What better way to spend my time? I always carry treats on me for play, learning time, or just being the best pup/kitty. In a clients home I am more than repectful of said requirements. I will always make sure your baby gets their meal on time, and always has water. I will always clean up after them. They will never get bored, all of my attention will be focused on them to ensure they are always engaged while you’re gone. My goal is to make you and most importantly your babies happy, because then I am too!

“Madeaya was great! She came over before my vacation to meet me and my cats, and I was able to show her what needed to be done. What was most impressive was when Madeaya couldn’t find one of my cats during her visit, she went back again later in the afternoon to make sure my Ragdoll was ok ((Sofi came out of hiding in the afternoon to greet her). I am so thankful to have found a friendly, caring, and responsible caregiver for my “fur babies” when I am out of town.”

“Aisha was great with my girls. Took them for walks, played, and kept me updated on how they were doing. My one is a very fussy eater and she took the time to make sure she ate. She stayed in home and left my house in good shape. Will look forward to using her sevices again.”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8 years old, when my family adopted a miniature schnauzer. Even before then, we had everything from hamsters to fish and the like, kid pets, ya know? Following our dog’s passing, I’ve helped care for a senior cat that my parents had and also three different orange cats that my wife and I have shared over the last three years! Being a cat owner, there isn’t too much of my non-work daily or weekly schedule that isn’t taking care of them: cleaning the litter box, keeping their automatic feeder and water filled, giving them wet food and playing with them! Caring for your cats animals as I have in the past will fight right in with my schedule, and I can’t wait to work with you! I always make sure to take myself on a walk daily, and I’d love to take your best friend with me! I get in 1-2 miles daily, but I am willing to adjust this to fit your pets needs. In your home I’d love to feed, spend time and play with, and care for your pet.

“Kyla did a great job taking care of our senior puggle, Toby, on her drop-in visits. She consistently used the check-in and visit ended features on the Rover app and sent several pictures of our boy during his care.”

About: Hello! I am Cortlynne and I love pets of all shapes and sizes! I have a substantial amount of experience from my time at a pet daycare where I worked with many different dogs on a regular basis. In my free-time I volunteer at my favorite local dog and cat rescue where I love to exercise and photograph the pets. I am knowledgable about medication dispersal, dog/cat handling, and dog/cat body language. All my life I have had dogs who ranged from sizes as small as a king charles spaniel, to as large as a great dane! Beyond dogs, I have experience with farm animals, rabbits, cats, rodents, fish, and so much more. Animals are my passion, and I take their care very seriously. I have two fur-babies of my own who I have invested hours in training and exercising to ensure they are as healthy and happy as possible. My three-year-old golden retriever, Ryder, has traveled with me across the country on vacations and was sort of an unofficial campus mascot at my college. My other girl, Kida, is a rough collie puppy who helps me practice my dog grooming skills every day! In other words, my experience and knowledge makes me well-equipped to handle various pet-related situations, and I am compassionate towards ALL types of dogs! I am currently available for hire whenever I am needed! I am open to house sitting bookings, though I would like to build a relationship with the pet and owner prior to scheduling. Feel free to contact me for discussion! I take safety very seriously on walks, thus I will bring along clean water for your pup for those hot summer days. I keep all dogs well-secured, and I am willing to advocate for any pups who are not too fond of strangers or other animals. If permitted by you AND your pup, I have an exceptionally friendly golden retriever girl who can attend the walking sessions. I am very patient for those pullers or "I like to sniff everything" pups! While working at a doggy daycare and volunteering at an animal rescue, I have gathered a plethora of experience in handling animals with specific personality requirements. I understand dog body language, and I know how to respect an animal's boundaries. Do not be afraid to message me about any concerns or questions!
