About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life—since I was 5 years old. My mom is a dog groomer, and I worked with her for years, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I currently have three of my own, ranging from 40 to 190 lbs, so I’m very comfortable handling large breeds and high-energy pups. I’m confident with everything from basic care to reading dog body language and managing senior or anxious dogs with patience and calm energy. I work from home, so I’m home all day and able to give your pet plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks. My flexible schedule means I can easily stick to your dog’s routine and be available for walks, feedings, and cuddle time throughout the day. About: Hello, my name is Alex! Animals have always been an interest of mine (fun fact: my favorite animal is the grizzly bear) and I love caring for them! I've been taking care of my family dogs for the last 5 years and recently adopted my kitty a little over a year ago. Outside of that, I volunteer at my local shelter and have been hired to walk dogs by neighbors as well as dog/ house sit from time to time. I may be new to Rover but I am not new to being dependable and responsible! I am currently a Junior in college and do not work a job during the academic year. My main constraint is classes when school is in session, but other than that I will work diligently to fit into whatever schedule is needed of me! About: I have stayed in homes for several days caring for three dogs, ensuring they received attention, exercise, and routine care. I’ve also provided traditional pet sitting services, checking in on dogs, feeding them, and taking them for walks. I am extremely detail-oriented and committed to following all instructions exactly as given to ensure pets remain comfortable, safe, and happy whether they are in their home environment or mine. I am a college student home for the summer and I am working a part time job 20 hours per week at Lake Forest Racquet Club. Therefore, I have a very flexible schedule as I usually only work from 7 A.M. to 12 P.M. four days a week. About: I love watching animals more than anything! Always know that your animal is loved and in great hands when I am in charge and responsible for them I am a full time student at The University of Alabama. This is my first year so I am still getting used to everything! I only have 2 classes max a day so have plenty of free time!! I know how to crate animals, as I have a puppy back home that is crate trained. If your yard is not fenced I will at all times keep your dog on a leash!!

About: My passion for pets and their mental well-being started early. Since 2019, my dad and I have volunteered at animal shelters, walking dogs and house training them to help them find loving homes. Now, as a college freshman, I’m continuing my mission to give back to the community and support animals as they grow. With two dogs of my own I trained and experience raising a litter of puppies, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and engaged. I am currently a fully time student, along with involved into on campus clubs and volunteers at the Hospital, but, I still make time to take care of animals at my local animal shelter. About: I love animals! I worked part-time at a local animal shelter. As a result, I have gained ample experience in handling animals. I can also provide references if needed. I'm a part-time student (I take online classes), but I can always make time to do things I enjoy, and hanging out with the creatures is one! Taking long walks with the puppies is one of the many things I liked when working at the Shelter. Here are some basic rules I go by: Don't let your pet outside without a leash if the yard doesn't have a fence, don't step outside without locking the doors, and always do a little extra for the owner as a courtesy! :)

About: I used to work at the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter where I took care of both cats and dogs. I love both, and I own two cats and a dog. I do not currently have any other job, but I will update this if that changes! As of now, I am available every day at any time. I do want it made aware that I must meet a dog before I care for it due to poor past experiences. My home is not suited for anyone’s pets, as my dog is not friendly to other dogs, and my cats are not fond of other cats. However, I will have no problems going to your place.

About: I had a Tibetan Terrier who lived to be 14 years old, so I've had plenty of senior pet care experience, as well as administering medications. I currently have a golden retriever who is about little over 1 year old who I got at 8 weeks so plenty of puppy experience as well. I've trained both of my dogs to do many tricks. I've never owned a cat but I've pet sit for plenty. I'm taking classes at the University of Alabama so whenver I'm not in class or taking care of my own dog, I'm free. Especially weekends, afternoons, and evening. I can take your dog on walks or if you have a fenced in yard I can go hang out with them in the backyard.

About: I have always had a huge spot in my heart for animals and I wish I could help every single one in bad situations. I have always known I wanted to work in Veterinary Medicine so currently I work at a clinic as a Veterinary assistant training to be a licensed Veterinary Technician !! I have so much experience with animals from puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats including their different needs and type of care and can’t wait to learn even more!! *If possible, I do request proof of up to date vaccinations and preventions (flea, tick, heartworm and worm)* Since moving to Tuscaloosa, I’ve gotten a job at a vet clinic and my boyfriend (Mason) attends UA. He loves animals just as much as I do and we will always have them in our home! Our schedules are very flexible and someone is almost always home:) My dog Tug is a GSP (German shorthair pointer) and is absolutely rotten! He loves going to the dog park and is very friendly and loves meeting new people and friends!! With that being said we can always take them to the dog park if allowed and play with them in the backyard and definitely go get pup cups! I will not be alone any of the time for my safety and the animals safety, I will always have help and support!

About: My animal and pet sitting experience is very extensive from having at most 4 dogs in my house growing up and farm sitting, cat/dog/lizard/fish sitting since I was 13. I love all animals and their health, safety, and happiness is my number one priority. Currently I’m a student in Alabama, originally I’m from South Carolina and have done pet sitting there for awhile. Although I do have class Monday-Friday I am available in the afternoons as my classes are all in the morning for the most part. I am also almost always available on the weekends! Personally, I have a female English Pointer mix who is very friendly with other dogs and people… she is easy going to say the least. Depending on your pups and the environment River could possibly be a good playmate if your fur babies are lonely. Safety is number one so I wouldn’t ever do anything without owners permission.

About: Since I was little, I was around animals all the time. My mom‘s cat lady gene was very strong, because I have six very special cats myself: Ruby (an orange tabby with three legs), Freya (a long-haired dilute torbie), Luna (a silly calico), Phoebe (a tortie with white socks), Callisto (a gray teddybear who came to us as a yard stray) and Poe (void cat who was born in our house). Although I do not want the commitment of adding a dog to the mix full-time, I also love taking care and playing with all puppers! I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible work times. I can schedule walks and check-ups early in the mornings and starting after 5 pm in the afternoon. I am available most weekends, both Saturday and Sunday. I will familiarize myself with your space and where your pets are allowed. It is important to me to understand if your pet will try to test limits and rules with me that might apply in your home. Both cats and dogs react differently to strangers, so it is important for me to not force them to interact if they want their space.

About: I have been an avid pet lover, owner, and caregiver my entire life! Throughout my teenage years I worked, and rode, for many top equestrian facilities in Georgia providing weekend barn care such as stall cleaning, feeding, and turnout. I have provided farm/pet sitting for numerous clients, friends, and families over the years, being solely responsible for up to 30 horses, as well as their pets, at one time. Most recently, I have 5 years of experience working in the veterinary industry. I currently have 2 dogs! A 4 year old Golden Retriever and a 7 year old Shepsky who both are my best friends! About: I grew up owning pets of all kinds and played a significant role in the care and education of them from an early age.
