I have a very flexible work schedule and I’m happy to help on evenings, weekends and early mornings . I don’t mind walking long distances for dogs that need the extra exercise I follow directions on how you want your dog taken care of in your home. I currently have a rabbit, so I’m unable to have a dog or cat in my home.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals my entire life from dogs all the way to alpacas! I grew up riding and taking care of horses since I was 6 which came with learning about how different animals communicate. I also grew up with 2 Jack Russell’s who were both my best friends until they passed from old age. I am luckily the only member of my family who isn’t allergic to cats, I think it’s because my grandmother had 20+ cats when I was a kid, and I made it my personal goal to befriend every single one. I love animals and I promise I will love your dog, cat, fish, snake, etc just as much! If you do happen to have a pet that is not a dog that needs to be watched let me know, and we can work something out! I currently work full time at a fishing pier Monday through Friday and work part time as a server, and do kayak tours on the side, so this is also a part time gig. I want as much time hanging out with your fluffy friend as you do, so please request at least a week before your visit to the Outer Banks or if you live full time here. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for long walks on leash, and I live with my boyfriends 4 year old golden retriever named Axel (the boyfriend too) and often bring him on many adventures with my rover returnees.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since i was 8 years old. I’ve worked at vet clinics, hospitals, and kennels for 8 years and have an arsenal of animal welfare knowledge. I am comfortable handling cats, dogs, and exotic animals of all shapes and sizes! As a recent college grad, I am filling my time off before grad school pet sitting. This is my only focus at the moment so my availability is completely open every day. Preferably I am available after 10 AM because I have my own animals to take care of. I have a large fenced in yard and an extremely friendly dog to keep yours company, as well as a happy cat! I also have a large car that can easily transport your pet(s) if needed. I make sure to take care of my animals, and others, by providing lots of love, affection, and mental stimulation to provide the best experience possible for the animals I work with.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life! My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play! She can be rambunctious so if your dog is mellow, she will get on their nerves. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. Nothing phases me - I can administer medication and subcutaneous fluids and can follow complicated feeding instructions - some of our furry friends are finicky! I love the bond formed when walking dogs - it's very special. My home is pet-friendly, with a small fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have a lovely time and I will be thrilled to take care of them! I am a realtor with a very flexible work schedule so there will be a lot of 1:1 time with your pet. We have sidewalks everywhere and a dog park within walking distance (only if you give the ok). I set an alarm and feed them breakfast and dinner consistently at the same time - it typically provides a calming effect when staying in a new place. I can let them out first AM in the backyard and after that it will be walks in and outside of Bermuda Bay, with lots of great sniffs!

About: Foster mom of 1! Most of my free time is spent walking dogs at the shelter so I have lots of experience with every type of dog! My parents run a pet care business and I often help them with daily walks as well as overnight stays. I live on a horse farm and have extensive experience caring for livestock as well as household pets. I work at one of our local mountains Saturday- Tuesday. I’m happy to drop in after work if your pup needs, but I’m also available all day Wednesday-Friday! My pup is a recent foster who prefers some space when he’s outside so I often let him out first thing in the morning, then we do a 20-30 minute walk before having breakfast and often lounging around the house until we go outside to get some exercise in the early afternoon.

I am a very active retiree who enjoys walking, I would love the opportunity to care for your dog. I have had many breeds of dogs my whole life. Small dogs and a St. Bernard! I love all dogs. I am also a very satisfied Rover client. I have found it gives my peace of mind knowing my dogs get individualized attention when going to a Rover sitter. I have a fenced in yard and a good sized home with a porch. So lots of room, for playing or quiet time. I have 3 dogs that are all very friendly and playful with other dogs.

Making your animal feel loved and cared for is my number one priority. I grew up with a lab, golden retriever, and an Alaskan Malamute in my house. I have the maturity, energy levels and personality to provide the absolute best possible care for your beloved while you’re away. I also have references for you if you’d be interested. As I mentioned, I do school from home so I have plenty of time to give your pet exactly what it needs. For the most part, they will rarely be left alone since I’m currently a full time student. They will have plenty of walks, exercise, affection, cuddles and belly rubs etc while you’re away! I can accomadate your dog’s usual walk schedule and also furniture, food, exercise, play, affection and temperament needs. I will also communicate and send pictures and videos to reassure you, unless you don’t want to get them frequently just let me know! I’m very present and affectionate with the dogs who stay with me. They can cuddle and sleep on my bed with me or the couch if that’s what they’re used to at home with you. There’s plenty of room for their doggy bed and toys.❤️ Lastly, I will only have other dogs at the same time as yours if it’s with prior permission. I am currently doing college online which means I have a lot of free time during the day so I would definitely be walking and playing with your dog plenty!❤️ Let me know if you have any special requests for your pet and I will be more than happy to accommodate!
