“Mikayla did a wonderful job taking care of my dog while I was away. She was very prompt with replies and kept me updated on how things were going. Thanks to her I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was well cared for!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. I grew up with two small dogs—Sam (a Japanese Chin–Poodle mix) and Liz (a Shih-Tzu)—and I currently own two mixed-breed dogs with my husband, Alan, in Newburg, PA. I work part-time at the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter Monday through Friday from 7AM to 11AM. My schedule for any services outside of my home are as follows: -Before Work: 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM (drop-ins/walks if needed) -After Work: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM (drop-ins, walks, or overnight starts) **Saturday – Sunday Flexible all day! For any doggy daycare or boarding - My husband, Alan, works from home and is able to provide care while I am at my other job in the mornings. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Our home is a one-story rancher with a fenced backyard, giving dogs plenty of space to explore and play. All dogs are introduced slowly and positively, and playtime is always supervised with breed-appropriate toys and treats. Feedings are separated to prevent stress, and baby gates or closed doors are used to keep dogs in safe, supervised areas. At night, dogs can sleep in bed with us, on the floor in their own bed, or in a crate in our room—whatever makes them most comfortable. Walks are done around our quiet neighborhood or at nearby Hopewell Township Park, with harnesses and leashes checked for safety before every outing. For car rides, dogs are secured with a seatbelt or dog hammock, and we’re happy to use your dog’s own car seat if needed. Your contact and veterinarian information are always on hand in case of emergency. Cats receive the same high standard of care in their own home, with all instructions followed carefully. They get pets, playtime, and plenty of treats, and I pay close attention to their comfort and safety at all times.
“Lindsay stayed at our house for a few days while we were out of town. She watched our fur babies like they're her own. Will definitely use her services again - actually, we already have her booked for an October trip we're taking!”

About: Dogs, cats, bird, lizards and fish have all been apart of my family at different stages of my life. I have had dogs from young pups to seniors. I am currently self employed as a doula and am a retired veteran. I have flexibility and freedom to plan my schedule. I love animals and working with them. I have had dogs and other pets my entire life. The dog that is currently apart of my family has been in a lot of trainings and is current on shots. In the past I have volunteered to foster litters of kittens and sometimes fostered puppies for small periods of time.
About: I have experience caring for dogs from puppies to seniors. Most of my experience with cats is with adult cats. I have been a shelter employee and am not afraid of 'difficult' animals. I work full time, but I work overnight, so am generally free during the day to provide walks and other care. I am off Friday and Saturday nights. I do not provide care in my home, but am respectful of others' homes, property, and beloved animals. I strive to leave a home and pet well cared-for.
“Barbara took care of my senior dog while I camped overnight. My pup gets a little stressed when I’m away. I can tell that Barbara took great care of her because she wasn’t anxious when I got home, just happy! She was very friendly and you can tell she really cares for animals. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”
“Tessa was fabulous. Our 2 dogs were very comfortable with her and she took great care of them over an entire weekend. She is a great communicator, prompt and a pleasure to work with. We will be happy to book her again.”

About: I've cared for not only my own pets but I've been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors since I was about 12yrs old. I currently care for my own dogs, fish, and several reptiles. I know what I'm doing and if you choose to book with me, rest assured your pets are in great, caring and knowledgeable hands. I currently work full time as a dog trainer, and part time as a pet caretaker for a few friends. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and would be happy to do drop ins or take your fur babies out for a walk when needed. My days where I have full availability are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I ask plenty of questions about the animals ahead of time, if any meds need administered, any routines to stick to, ect. I don't ever wanna put stress on a pet or throw off any routines. I've worked with just about every dog breed imaginable, and am always up for a challenge.

“Emily was a perfect fit for my liberty! She sent me lots of photos!! When I arrived home Liberty was very happy to see us, but after the excitement of her greeting us she was running around the house looking for Emily! I will use Emily again and recommend her to anyone who wants there pets to receive lots of love ❤️”

“We happily give Pam 5 Stars, and we would give her more if we could! Pam is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! She is very affectionate with our 3 fur babies, all of whom really love her! That is no small task, as our dog, Rufus isn't particularly friendly with strangers. She graciously traveled an hour to meet him ahead of time and to see if we were all a good fit. She worked her magic, and Rufus found a new friend. Our very shy cat, Honey even came out to say 'Hello', and she usually hides from people. Our kitten, Yoshi truly is, as Pam described him "a hot mess ... and he should have his own TicTok channel" Yoshi really is quite a hoot, and a bit of a handful, but super sweet. All 3 of our furbabies really took to Pam, and we were all very comfortable leaving them and our home in her kind and responsible care. We also felt like we made a new friend! My husband was having surgery 2 hours from home, which was extremely stressful for us. Pam helped ease our minds by sending us regular pictures and updates. She was also very kind in checking in on us to see how things were going with his surgery. She did everything possible to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She didn't even complain when I handed her a 5 page handwrtten set of information. So, we highly recommend Pam as a wonderful pet & home sitter. We really hope we will have another opportunity to have her take care of our fur babies and our home in the future, hopefully for a fun reason next time. She will always be our first choice! Thank You, Pam! We couldn't have gotten thru all of this without you! We are forever grateful! Sherri, Pete, Rufus, Honey & Yoshi”
