I have grown up with dogs from the age of 7 and have seen dogs at all stages of life, from puppy to senior. I have cared for family and friends' dogs while they were out of town or at work. I work from home full time and work East Coast hours so the afternoon and evenings are typically free for me. I have two dogs of my own that I care for daily as well. Our furry friends are family. If your dog needs extra attention, please provide detailed instructions and I would be happy to follow them. Otherwise, I will care for your pet as I would my own.

My place has a fenced in yard, but my dog can be reactive and is not cat friendly. If you’d like to have your dog stay with me, I’d prefer to do a slow introduction with them before a long stay. When I’m at your place, I will care for it as my own. Before our first walk, I’d love to learn as much about your pet’s needs as possible to ensure I’m providing the best care while you’re away!

About: Hi! My name is Komo, and I am an energetic animal-lover excited to care for your dog, cat, fish, snake or even plant! I’ve enjoyed caring for friends’ pets for much of my life. I grew up helping feral kittens and watching Cesar Milan Dog training shows until I finally got my sweet rottweiler at age 12. Through raising my pup and over a decade of pet-sitting, I’ve come to understand how to care for and entertain dogs of any breed, age, and energy level. As the mom of a now senior (& very healthy) rottie, I am especially skilled at caring for puppies, high energy dogs, and senior pups. I currently have a pretty open schedule! I can be booked on weekdays morning and evenings and can accommodate any time on the weekends. I know that dogs each have their own personalities and will accommodate care to fit what makes them comfortable. We watch only one dog at a time so your dog will have our undivided attention. I am a part-time teacher that is home by 11:00am. My husband is home in the morning. The rest of the day is spent in my art studio. In the evening I usually go for a long walk. Most weekends are spent at home relaxing with family. We have a cozy condo that is dog friendly and a sunny deck for warm naps. We live close to Alameda Creek Trail which is where we take frequent walks. I will try and follow the routine that your dog is used to as close as possible. If you're doggie is staying with us overnight, I will send lots of updates and daily pictures. We don't have any other pets or small children so, the home is quiet and calm. I only sit one dog at a time so your dog will receive our undivided attention while visiting.

We will walk the dog 3 times a day and 1 park time (if the dog can be recalled, if not then will be on-leash)

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for a many years now. Any time a friend or family member needs someone to watch their pets I am the person they go to. I’ve watched puppies, foster animals, and all kinds of pets. I also interned at a pet hospital for dogs and cats while I was in high school. About: I have pet sit two cute poodle mixes for 10 days recently and also pet sit a medium sized dog for the weekend. My sister has two large dogs with whom I have spent a lot of time! I am also available on weekends and weekday evenings. So, I have a pretty flexible schedule. I live in an apartment complex with place to walk dogs. It is a 2 bedroom apartment. About: I have Lived with 2 Black labs in my life one was an older dog that we picked up later in life and the other we raised from young. I have experience walking playing and picking up after them at the moment I'm on winter brake and my coerces allow me to be flexible with my schedule. additionally, I walk my own dog regularly. I feed, provide water, playing ball with them and pick up after my own pets. I often enjoy their company and have fun playing with them.

About: Before Rover: In 2018, I started house/dogsitting a Labrador over the holidays, house sat with a cat for a duration of 4 months when her owner was out of the country. Between 2020 to 2022, via in-network, I've looked after an additional 5 dogs and 1 cat for various households. Now with Rover, I've met many more pets and learned more of their quirks. I'm not a trainer and do not have any special certification, but have provided care services for pets ranging from super active (walks, runs, routine play-time), special diet, administered oral medication and injection, and attended to various special needs. I am employed full-time (and remote), so please understand I am providing pet care on Rover as a side gig. Preferred to drop-in/out before 9am, during lunch, or after 5pm for most bookings. Preferred one-off bookings (if you're going on vacation) over consistent bookings due to unexpected out-of-town trips. Recently moved to San Jose from Sacramento. I will require Sacramento clients to book at least 3 days. For San Jose clients, I won't be able to be booked more than 1.5 months ahead, in the case of required travelling to Sacramento or out of town (for my full time job). *I have been vaccinated with the flu and COVID shots. I required a meet n greet with all new bookings to make sure a) acquaint myself with you and the pets, b) walk through quirks of the environment that I will provide my care services. I'd appreciate details regarding safety procedures and owners’ expectations. I follow owners’ instructions when it comes to pet care. The goal is to maintain the pets' normal routine as much as possible when you're not home with them. In the case of an emergency, I can take the pet to their veterinarian. I keep owners updated, even if it’s just cute pictures, but let me know if you prefer not to be bombarded!
