“Amanda and her family took such good care of our two boys! I have never left them alone this long (5 days) with someone they have never met. She sent updates and pictures everyday, and in each picture/video they looked happier than ever! I love that she lets them make themselves comfortable in her home, and let them cuddle with her in her bed, as my dogs are big cuddlers! 😂 we will absolutely book with her again for future trips! Thank you for everything Amanda! 🤍”

“Louis and June are just amazing! Brie took to them almost immediately! Their home is beautiful with an amazing backyard with plenty of room to run. Their dog Hunter is very friendly and became fast friends with Brie! Highly recommend and would use again in a heartbeat!”

“Yvonne was amazing with our dogs. She spoiled them and treated them as if they were her own. She updated us with pictures and description of their day. She took the time to get to know them and their personalities. She took them to the park for walks and play time. She is definitely trustworthy and caring .”

“Jessika is a saint and we are so so grateful for her and her care for our Appa. Jessika on Christmas of all days, drove across town and picked up our puppy from another sitter when my fiancé and I were more than 2,000 miles away. That alone helped save us so much stress and anxiety and we couldn’t be more thankful. We got constant update and videos from her throughout our pups stay and have never felt more comfortable with a rover sitter. Jessika is the best and we will absolutely be trusting her with our pup in the future!!”

About: I am a born and raised Country girl and animal lover. I love caring for dogs and being outside with them. I am energetic, easy going and fun loving. I love going for long walks around the neighborhood. I am willing to work with multiple dogs if needed. I am hard working, very trustworthy and dependable and can provide references when asked. I have experience working with a variety of types and sizes of dogs from Chihuahuas and dachshunds, to Akitas and Pitbull breeds. I am able to record and report any changes in your dog behavior as well as any physical problems with the dog to you and am able to transport to the veterinarian if needed. I can provide a daily log to track time actively spent with your pet. I am a full time single Momma who is currently in between jobs, so my schedule for the most part is fairly open and flexible I have a fenced in yard where the dogs can run around during the day and play. I also have a large outside kennel with a dog house that your fur baby is welcome to stay in to get some fresh air if the yard is not a good fit for some reason, for overnight stays they would be allowed to stay inside with me. I live about 10 minutes away from Janesville park would be more than happy to take them to the park to play and burn off any energy, work on getting them social with other dogs, and just get them out and about in general. If I am asked to do home visits for your fur baby, I will make sure I spend a good amount of time with them in between visits.
About: I have had dogs in my house since before I was born and have never gone a day with out dogs living at home. I love to take my own two dogs on walks and would love to help out others that don’t have the time or ability to take their own out on walks all the time. I currently have my two dogs, two cats and a little zoo made up of different types of pets. I typically work early mornings and I am off by noon most days so a quick afternoon walk is ideal for me. My services are available almost everyday from noon to five in the afternoon. Since I have so many of my own pets I prefer to pet sit at the clients house. I mainly offer dog walking but for any quick day trip over overnighter I am able to stop by to care for your pet and meet their needs.
“Absolutely the nicest people ever! Took incredible care of my dog and kept me updated and communicated with me while I was away! I literally wont use anyone else after my dog stayed with them!!! 1000% will use again!”

“Tim was an excellent with Luna. I went on vacation for 12 days and was very responsive when it came to updates and pictures. Luna looked like she had a great time with all of the outdoor adventures Tim took her on. Most definitely a reliable dog sitter.”

“I’m so grateful to Katie and her family for taking such wonderful care of Ozzie! From the moment I dropped him off, I felt comfortable knowing he was in loving and caring hands. Katie was amazing about following Ozzie’s diet and making sure he stayed on his normal routine. She also kept me updated as needed and sent me photos of her and Ozzie playing together, which was so reassuring and made me happy to see that he was having a great time. ❤️🐾 I also really appreciated how flexible Katie was with my pickup time. Her kindness, communication, and willingness to accommodate made the whole experience completely stress-free. It was clear that Ozzie was happy, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. I truly appreciate all the love and attention Katie and her family gave him. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and loving home for their dog. Ozzie will definitely be staying with them again! ❤️”

“Julio did a great job with my little guy. He was responsive when I'd reach out and always very positive and polite. My dog took to him right away. I'd definitely recommend Julio and would book with him again in the future.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Doyle home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Doyle.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Doyle sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
