About: I have had dogs since for my entire life, so I have cared for all ages of dogs from puppies to seniors. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, spending time cuddling with senior dogs, and playing with puppies! I am currently a full time student at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. I have a few hours during the weekdays for potty breaks and feeding, and I am available on the weekends. I am willing to pet sit overnight in your home on weeknights, as well as weekends. My apartment is not pet-friendly, so I am not allowed to bring your pets to me, but I will drive to your home to care for your pets there. I will ensure to keep your pets safe, active, and content while you are away.

Otherwise, I get my schedule for the next week on Friday afternoons, which means I can book one-times about a week out. Every pet in my care is treated like family - with kindness, attention, and genuine love. Whether I’m on a walk or watching them at home, I follow their routines closely and make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood. I’m big on cuddles, playtime, and keeping their environment clean and calm. I pay attention to each pet’s personality and needs, always making sure they’re comfortable and cared for like they’re my own.

About: I’ve loved dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I’ve had both small and large dogs (all rescues!) and one cat, and caring for them has always brought me joy. I helped care for my senior dog through lymphoma, so I understand the extra attention aging pets need. For check-ins, I make sure your pet feels safe and cared for by spending quality time with them, not just doing the basics. I’ll follow your instructions closely, whether that’s feeding, playtime, meds, or just giving them some love and attention while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: I have been the go-to neighborhood dog sitter ever since I was in junior high. Now I live in Iowa City with my husband and field retriever, Oakley, and am ready to continue opening my home to your pets! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I work from home, so I am here all day for your pet. My typical routine with Oakley includes a lunch time walk and a post work hike at Hickory Hill. I’d love to bring your pup along for these adventures but can also cater to your pups individual needs/preferences and adjust as needed! We have a fenced in yard as well for the pups to run around in. I work full time from home, so I am able to attend to your dog throughout the day as needed. I typically play fetch or tug or something or the sort with my pup in the morning, take her for a walk ~1 mi walk over lunch, and for a 1-2 hour hike after work. I can adjust the level of activity as needed to match what you’re looking for! I have a fenced in yard (standard chain link so not suited for high jumpers) and an active pup for your dog to play with! I am comfortable crating your dog or leaving free roaming, whatever is your preference and your routine!

About: I started pet sitting when I was 11 years old. I cared for my neighbors dogs for many years along with many other neighborhood dogs. Recently, I went to a professional canine training school where I learned to train competition obedience, scent detection, tracking, agility, and many other things. Obviously, I have a passion for animals that has consumed me since I was a young child. I’m currently working full time but I generally have the weekends free so I’d be happy to check on your pet while you’re out enjoying life! I have a fenced in yard and a pet dog. I work full time and dual as a k9 trainer so I have experience as a dog handler and trainer-I care for all dogs like they are my own. I have very clear rules and boundaries with any dogs I care for. About: I bring almost three years of experience from working at a dog training, daycare, and boarding facility. During this time, I gained valuable insights into various dog behaviors and care techniques. Most importantly, it deepened my already strong bond and love for dogs! I’m currently a full-time college student at the University of Iowa with a structured class schedule and plenty of open weekends. My flexible routine allows me to provide pet care on weekends and during my shorter class days. I have three dogs at home, ranging from a Pug to two Great Danes, so I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes. Whether it’s one pup or a pack, I can handle it all! About: I have dog sat all types of dogs biggest being a Great Dane and the smallest a Chihuahua. I am very open to dog sitting any dog! I am currently working full time at the college of dentistry but I get off work at 5 everyday and have weekends and holidays off. I live in an apartment so I wouldn’t be able to board your dogs but I am very respectful of someone’s home and will take great care of your dogs.

About: I grew up on a farm and have had pets of all kinds like German Shepherd dogs abd many cats. I currently own 2 feisty Japanese Chin, who are treated like royalty. I currently working weekdays from 6am until 2pm so im available to do drop in visits and walks on evenings and weekends and happy to board small abd medium sized dogs or cats in my home. I have a 6 foot privacy fence in my back yard and two dogs who have their own playroom that they like to spend their time in. I like to take dogs for walks. I also do caregiving for humans so I well versed in medication giving and personal cares.
