2. Saterra G.
About: Hi I am a student at Arizona State University studying Sustainability. I grew up around many different animals. From taking care of small fish to riding horses. I have a cat that has been with me for 8 years. In high school I also had two dogs Isis and Dooley. My dad and I would take our dogs on walks everyday in the evening. Walking them I have learned how to take control when other dogs walk by. They were good with people but not other dogs. I know how to make sure nothing happens that would affect the people or animals in negative ways in those kind of situations. I am also familiar with dogs running around farms as I used to talk care of my friends farm that had horses, geese, chickens, and goats on it while they would be out of town. Overall, I am an animal lover and believe pets make people's lives better. Taking care of my pet brings me joy and strengthens the bond we share. Feeding, grooming, and playtime are essential tasks that I make time for every day. I work part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet. Caring for pets in my home or a client's home involves ensuring their basic needs are met. This includes providing food, water, exercise, and companionship. Establishing a routine and providing a safe environment. Care for my client's pets will require lots of communication to make sure all your pets needs are being met while you are away.
3. Camille T.
About: Hi! I’m Camille, a certified vet assistant since May 2023, currently studying at Wichita State University. I split my time between Wichita and my hometown, Norman, Oklahoma, where I work at Boomer Veterinary Hospital during breaks. I also volunteer on weekends (usually from 11 am to 2 pm, but I’m flexible!). I’m Fear Free certified, which means I use gentle techniques to reduce pets’ anxiety and stress during care. I have personal experience with anxious pets—my own dog, Basco, is a great example, and you can see his cute face on my profile! I also have experience with ferrets, cockatiels, and guinea pigs, having grown up with two as pets and from boarding at Boomer on the weekends. I generally have classes from 8 am to 2 pm, but I’m happy to clarify availability when you contact me. I always leave homes clean and follow instructions, no matter how specific. Whether it’s cats, dogs, or even more exotic pets, I’m here to care for your furry friends, including those with more anxious personalities that may take a little more time and patience. I generally have class from 8 am-2 pm during the week, as mentioned in my profile, and I volunteer from 11 am-2 pm on weekends, though I’m flexible with these times. I’m happy to work with the owner’s schedule as much as I can, whenever needed, to ensure the best care for your pets. When checking on pets, I always announce my presence and greet the animals warmly. I prioritize following owners’ directions and ensure to leave the space better than I found it.

“Lauren was fantastic! Our Remy is very apprehensive of new people, but during our meet and greet she knew exactly how to ease his anxiety. She sent lots of pictures during the check in, including one of them playing tug - which is not something Remy is usually comfortable enough to do on an early meeting. Very good communication throughout the process. We’re glad we found her to check on our pup!”
