About: We have experience with puppies, seniors, and everything in-between! We have cared for dogs with special needs, behavioral concerns, and anxiety issues. We are ready to help your pup feel loved in our home or yours! We work full-time, but we are around most weekends and evenings. We spend most of our evenings taking care of and spending time with our pets. We call work hours "nap time" in our house since our dogs LOVE to nap, and they would love to have your pup join them! We have a fenced-in yard and a large crate (if needed). Our home has plenty of room, and there's always space for your dog to pile into bed with us for bedtime!

“Madison and her family were great with Thor. Will gladly book again in the future. She was worried about his non eating- as he does when I'm not around. I received great photo updates on him. She seemed to understand Thor and his personality. Thank you again:-)”

About: I've had dogs for most of my life. I've adopted from rescues and love making my pets feel safe and loved. My current dog is a senior male who's very sweet. About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of all kinds—chickens, ponies, cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards—you name it, I’ve probably cared for it! That experience gave me a natural comfort and confidence with animals from a young age, and it taught me how to read their behavior, understand their needs, and treat them with gentleness and respect. I’ve looked after everything from snuggly lap cats to high-energy dogs who need lots of play and exercise. I enjoy taking active dogs to parks and getting them the movement they need, while also knowing how to slow things down for older pets or animals who need extra care. I’ve also cared for pets who were mildly sick or healing, giving them special attention, gentle handling, and keeping a close eye on their needs. What sets me apart is my calm, steady presence and my ability to adjust to each animal’s unique personality. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, affectionate, or a little quirky—I meet them where they’re at and care for them like they’re my own. Right now, I’m in a season of life where I’m home full-time and have plenty of availability to care for pets. I love being around animals, and with my flexible schedule, I can give them the time, attention, and consistency they need throughout the day. If this turns into something steady, I’d love to make pet care my full-time focus! For now, my days are wide open, and I’m excited to spend them keeping your pets happy, safe, and loved. When caring for pets in my home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. For in-home boarding, I’m currently only able to host quiet pets due to both my living situation and the peaceful nature of our neighborhood. This includes animals like cats, hamsters, reptiles, and even spiders like tarantulas — all of which tend to be low-noise and easygoing. I share my home with my spouse, who is a light sleeper and highly sensitive to sound, so it’s important that any pets I host are calm and relatively quiet. While I generally don’t board dogs at this time, I may make exceptions for certain small, quiet breeds — such as older Shih Tzus — who are known for their gentle, quiet temperament and cuddly nature. Please note that other small breeds like dachshunds or beagles, which tend to be more vocal, unfortunately wouldn’t be a good fit for our environment. Of course, I understand that every animal has its own personality, so if you believe your pet is especially calm, feel free to reach out and we can discuss! I live near a walking path that’s perfect for regular walks and potty breaks. I’m happy to provide exercise and fresh air as part of their daily routine. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as much as possible, and I’ll communicate closely with you to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for in my home or yours.

“Susan was absolutely amazing from start to finish! I never used Rovee before so I was really cautious and overall pretty scared but Susan assured me she'd take great care of Char while I was traveling. I received pictures and videos daily of char as well as text updates. In the videos alone I could tell my dog was not only happy but he felt safe and loved. I would highly recommend Susan!”
