Doggy Day Care in Double Shoals

About: We have always had animals and do all we can to provide a safe and fun environment for them and give them the best lives possible. Whether it's cats or dogs, I welcome them all. I work from home in a non demanding role, so I can provide care all day with no issues. Typical work hours of 8 am to 5 pm. I have 2 friendly dogs and a cat that is used to dogs. I also have a fenced in yard with a dog door for easy access. I also have a larger yard outside of the fence I walk my dogs around during lunch and after work hours.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up surrounded by pups and has always had dogs as part of my family. Currently, I have an Australian Shepherd and a Lab, so I’m very familiar with both high-energy playtime and laid-back cuddle sessions. I’ve also worked at pet boarding facilities, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. From feeding routines to playtime and keeping pups comfortable while their owners are away, I truly understand what it takes to provide safe, loving care. About: I’ve around dogs since I was little. We have a 3.2 acre and we been taking care of my sister in law aussies every time she was traveling. I take a lot of care on everything I do. I also take care of holland lop bunnies. I currently work 4 days a week and have weekend free. I have a big fern yard for dog to play and enjoy their time while in care I would dedicate my time to them to make sure all their need are met. I’ll treat them as I would love they care for mine. I would make my best to care for them and play.

About: Hi! We are Nia and Miguel and would love to welcome your pet to their vacation home! We both have experience with many different sizes, breeds and temperaments! We live in a very quiet area with a large fenced in backyard for lots of running and playing. We both have over 10 years of experience working with cats and dogs and have always had pets in our homes.We look forward to speaking with you and spending time with your fur family! Nia works from home and has the ability to provide extra care and attention to those who need it. Between both of our schedules, we are able to provide day services and overnight boarding if needed. I have a large fenced in backyard with 3 very friendly adult/elderly mixed breed dogs to keep them company. All 3 of our dogs have been around other dogs and cats for many years have no bite history.

About: To say that we are dog lovers is a bit of an understatement. I have worked in veterinary medicine and been involved in dog rescuing for over 25 years. I live on a 30 acre horse farm and work from home so your dog won't be left alone all day. Your dog will be treated like family! My dogs, Biscuit, Bolt, Aspen and Bentley sleep in our bed and are treated like our kids. Our dogs will keep your dog busy! Your dog will have so much fun they won't want to go home! Bring your pets to our farm for the day or for the week, they will feel right at home and will be treated like they are part of the family. I work from home, so your pet will always have supervision. Dogs have access to a fenced yard and spend several hours outside playing together If your dog feels more comfortable in a crate they can sleep in the crate or in my room. Each dog is different. My goal is to do what makes them most comfortable.

About: I have had all sorts of pets all my life but dogs have always had my heart. Dogs are so sweet, goofy, and caring and I like to think that is my personality as well. I will do my absolute best to provide a fun and loving environment for any pet that comes into my home! I work from home so will be able to keep a close eye on any pet. They say that dogs are one of the best judges of character and I have no doubt that YOUR fur baby will be happy to stay with me. So.. let me give your pet a second home! I am excited to get this started and love away! I work from home! This makes it easy for me to keep an eye on your babies through out the day! I also live in a neighborhood good for walks and have a fenced backyard for exercise! I will care for your pets as if they are my own. I love to give animals love and cuddles. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, and some other animals. Taking care of animals makes me happy and being able to help others while doing something I enjoy is always a plus! I’m currently I a college graduate from Gardner-Webb University and am located in the Huntersville area. I am able to go feed, walk, and play with the animals whenever is needed or if they have a scheduled routine I will fit my schedule to those times as best I can. I have a terrier mix at home with me inside, a few chickens outside but they stay in the coup with the ducks! So I feed and take care of my animals around twice to three times a day, but I let my dog out every time I an home and in the morning before I leave and if I stay with someone else’s dog I’ll adapt to their schedule!

About: Being a Pet Parent myself, I know firsthand what it means to building a lasting relationship with someone whom not only you and your pet trust but someone who will give your pet(s) the same love, care and attention as you would. I’m comfortable handling most breeds of dogs 🐶 from puppies up to 70lbs. I also care for cats 🐈 and all the farm 🐓🐥🐷🦆🐐 animals too! I’m home during the day & have plenty of love 💕 to give your pup or kitty while you are away. You’ll be updated twice a day throughout their stay with pics and videos at 11am and 8pm. I have a large fenced in yard that has plenty of room for fun and exercise with a surplus of toys. It is well lighted and equipped with security cameras for your pet(s) comfort and safety during their stay.

About: Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone for long periods of time. I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and energy levels... from a senior dog who became blind and deaf, which taught me patience and gentle, consistent care, to my current puppy, where I focus on training, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement for high-energy needs. I also have two cats with very different personalities, so I am very attentive to body language and always respect each pet’s comfort level, allowing them to warm up at their own pace. I work remotely and am home throughout the day. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship without dogs being left alone for long periods. My mornings usually start with feeding and a walk or outdoor time. Throughout the day, I schedule additional walks, play sessions, and enrichment based on each dog’s energy level and needs. Because I’m home, I can easily adjust my schedule for puppies, senior dogs, or dogs who need extra attention or routine. I make sure routines stay consistent from day to day so dogs feel comfortable, secure, and at home. Dog care isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s part of my everyday life. My goal is always to provide a safe, attentive, and loving environment where dogs feel happy and well cared for. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously and always care for pets as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine while providing a calm, secure environment. In my home, pets are closely supervised and never left unattended for long periods of time. Because I work remotely, I’m able to be present throughout the day to monitor behavior, provide regular potty breaks, walks, and attention, and ensure pets are comfortable and relaxed. I keep my space clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards, and I’m careful to follow any household rules provided by owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. I make sure doors and gates are secure, food and medications are given as directed, and pets receive the level of interaction and exercise they’re used to. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and communicate updates promptly. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where pets feel secure and owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.
