About: I had a dog when I was younger and I loved him and taught him tricks. I also have 7 cats who I love so much. I work during the week. I have a big yard, however it's not fenced in. I could take your dog out on a leash so they are safe from other animals and the road. I also live in walking distance to the Harmony Trail in Shelby, NC.

I work 4 days week and will have plenty of time to spend with your pups so they get that personal care regularly in the comfort of a home setting verses a boarding facility. I also have a dog that loves to play with others. When I am home dogs are free range through out the house and play time with my pup or snoozing on the couch. About: I have had cats as a child and then for the past 30 years, I have had my own cats. One of the cats I have now is 18 years old. There are three cats living in my home at the time. In addition to the “old lady”, I have a rescue who is super sweet and my son’s cat who doesn’t like other cats and can only be petted a certain way. About: We both grew up on farms and have been surrounded by animals of all kinds—from livestock to household pets—for our entire lives. Caring for animals is second nature to us. I personally trained our 10-month-old Golden Retriever, Charlie, using positive reinforcement techniques, so we are very familiar with dog behavior, setting healthy routines, and maintaining positive play etiquette. We are also fully comfortable administering oral or topical medications on strict schedules. We welcome friendly, house-trained dogs looking for a safe, active, and experienced home-away-from-home! One of us works full-time from home while the other works short 4-hour shifts, meaning your dog will enjoy near-constant human presence, regular bathroom breaks, and constant supervision. While someone is home the vast majority of the time, we may occasionally step out for short errands or dinner (1 to 3 hours). During these brief periods, guest dogs are kept safe and comfortable indoors alongside Charlie. We live in a quiet, planned community with a 4-foot fully fenced backyard where dogs can run freely and play fetch safely in shaded grass. Guest dogs are treated like family and are welcome to relax on our covered couches for post-play naps. We take daily 15-20 minute neighborhood walks and often visit local spots like Martha Rivers Park on weekends. To ensure complete safety, we always require a Meet & Greet prior to booking to confirm temperaments align smoothly.

Through this experience I have worked with various breeds as well as pets with different temperaments. I am very comfortable with any breed, big or small. I am home full time because I work from home, so your pet will never be put in their kennel or left for any amount of time. If you prefer your dog to sleep in a kennel at night, I will be more than happy to accommodate that, although they are more than welcome to sleep on my bed or with my dogs. I have two dogs, one is a 6 year old large gentle giant who is very calm, named Sasha. She is a small Great Pyrenees, and is very friendly and good at making new doggy guests feel at home! I also have a small, friendly indoor cat - so any pet that will stay with us needs to be cat friendly, or atleast non-aggressive towards cats. As an experienced pet owner, I understand the worries that come with leaving your loved one with someone else. You can rest assured they are in good hands with me. I offer meet and greets before you schedule your booking so that you can meet me and verify if you feel comfortable, and I am always available via message to answer any questions. I send daily pictures and updates multiple times a day during the duration of your pet’s stay with me, and keep you up to date on all the fun your dog is having! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible! I am able to accommodate any needs including medication administration. I am also available for home visits. I have a fenced in yard and I can walk your pup multiple times a day - as well as providing playtime! Cats or other species are also welcome.

Every night he lays on my lap and makes biscuits and I enjoy every minute of it. I’ve decided to pet sit full time and enjoy loving on as many animals as long as I can. I do prefer dogs to be crate trained if possible. I have a fenced in yard with 2 dogs... Bella she's half Mastiff/German Shepherd. Bella & Bear are both create trained. Bear is a Pomeranian that belongs to my daughter. 1 cat "Sparky" Tabby that thinks he's King!!! Currently I do my own schedule, and . So my time will hopefully be available when your furr babies need. I do have other side jobs I do. So I can work around most things for care of your furr baby.
