About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time outside of these times. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

I normally don’t accept boarding at my house, since my cats aren’t really fond of dogs. But I’d be more than welcome to stay at your house if that makes you feel comfortable! I have an older dog and a cat at home, so I’m used to giving pets lots of love, attention, and the extra care seniors need. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I am currently a full time student at Lewis and Clark Community College so I have plenty of time to care for animals on the side! When I’m caring for pets on walks or in your home, I always make sure they feel comfortable and safe. On walks, I’ll go at their pace, make sure they stay hydrated, and give them plenty of time to sniff and explore. In your home, I’ll stick to their normal routine, give them lots of love and attention, and keep things clean and calm so they feel right at home even while you’re away.

About: I have a canine first aid training and 13 years of experience working at boarding kennels and agility competitions. Dog walking and canicross competition. . I am currently stay at home mom setting up my veterinary physiotherapy business. I am very outdoorsy and active person. But I can also switch off and relax. Whatever energy your pet needs. I am more than happy to provide it. I am very flexible and willing to work out whatever suits you and your pet the best. We have fenced yard and one friendly spayed female dog Willow. We also have two cats and a baby. Dogs have to be friendly. Our yard is 0.5 acre, loads of room to roam. Recently we removed our old swimming pool so now there is even more space for the animals to run. Your pet will be always supervised. If your pet stays at my house you need to provide their food. I would also recommend to bring their blanket or a favourite toy to help with the transition. If your pet is used to sleeping in a crate please bring your crate too or let me know ahead so I can make sure my crate is available. I can provide treats, blankets, bowls and toys. All pets sleep inside the home.

About: I work 8-4:30pm Monday through Friday, I can do before work and after work depending on the time and area pretty much always available on weekends feel free to reach out 😃. I have been around animals my whole life. As a child we had three American Bull dogs. I have taken care of animals for friends when they were out of town until they return home. I personally have a dog named Simba, he’s very loving and loves attention. We go on walks and play fetch, he gets spoiled with toys weekly. Pet care fits into my schedule because I can drop in before and after work. Weekends I’m free all through out the day so plenty of time for extra attention! I work from home three days out of the week Monday - Friday and go in twice a week. I follow all owner rules and like to send pictures and videos of their happy fur babies. I care for Simba by taking him potty regularly making sure he has plenty of food and water. We go for walks when the weather lets us.

I’m currently working Mon-Thurs from 8:15am-4:30pm and Friday from 8:15am-12:30pm and I get an hour lunch! So if you ever need me to check in on your fur babies, I can do that! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.

I have several fur babies of my own, so I certainly understand the importance of having someone take care of your pets who will love them just as much as you do! I have experience with caring for pets for most of my life, but most recently, I have been doing drop in visits to feed and take care of family pets, as well as some pet sitting for friends who are out of town. I am also familiar with dealing with anxious dogs as both of my boys have some pretty serious storm anxiety. About: I have several years experience in animal care. I have worked at two different doggy daycare/boarding facilities and two animal hospitals. I can care for pets that need medications and special instructions. From walking, playing, bathing, and cuddling, I can handle cats/kittens, dogs/puppies and if requested can care for horses as well. Usually when I dog sit for a family friend or just anyone in general I stay at their house with the dog(s) so they feel comfortable in their own environment. My work hours are as followed; Monday & Thursday: 7-4pm (lunch 12-1pm) Tuesday 8-6pm (lunch 1-2 or 2-3pm) and Wednesday 7-1pm. I am a reliable and a caring person to watch your fur babies! I usually stay at the clients house so the pet is in a familiar environment and won’t get over stimulated.
