Samantha has been an absolute lifesaver! She walks my dog Cooper once a day during the week while I’m at work, and I couldn’t ask for someone more reliable. She is always consistent and right on time, which gives me total peace of mind. What really stands out is how attentive she is—she always lets me know if anything seems off with Cooper and keeps me updated after each walk. She’s also very responsive whenever I reach out, which I really appreciate. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. I highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable dog walker!

About: I am sometimes referred to as the crazy dog lady, and I proudly accept that title :) I have experience with caring for a pack of 6 of my own, while caring for others. Doing it in a way that each one of the dogs needs was met. With that many pups, I have a great deal of experience caring for pups who may have dog aggression, anxiety, excessive energy, and/or medical needs. Through experiencing some of these issues with my own dogs, I am confident that I can give you ease of mind by helping your pup with any of the above while theyre in my care. I have completed a dog behavior course and am a certified Level 1 Reiki practitioner. Meaning, while your pup is in my care I am able to recognize signals on how they are feeling, and am able to respond in ways that will help them to calm, and feel safe. I will ensure that your fur child will get a great amount of exercise, play, and love. Currently, I am working under a professional dog trainer to better learn how to care appropriately for your pups. I’m happy to help with some positive training as well, or follow the commands you’ve been using to make sure they have consistency. We’ll have a grand time. I look forward to meeting you and loving on your pup! Health & Happines! Brittany

About: I have always had a love for animals. Growing up, I always had pets, mostly dogs and cats but also rodents, snakes, and frogs. I have also volunteered for 2 animal shelters in the past and still actively volunteer at one with walking dogs. I am currently in school and working part time but somehow still have plenty of free time! I love helping out people especially when it comes to caring for their pets when they cannot, whether that be at work or on vacation. I will always keep any animals on leashes or in the house. I will keep the same principles as my own dogs and will always keep them safe and keep their boundaries granted.

About: My name is Allison and I’m a certified Canine Specialist with a passion for dog training. As a dedicated pet owner myself, I understand the importance of providing personalized and attentive care to each and every animal I work with. Growing up on a farm, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of animals, including dogs. Through my experience with Rover, I have further developed my skills in animal care, allowing me to confidently handle a range of pet needs, such as administering medication or caring for sick, elderly, or anxious animals. Use this code out checkout for $20 off your first booking: ALLISO59417. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. For pets under my care, for drop-in visits, I can provide them with food, water, walks, and attention, while ensuring they are happy and healthy Your dogs are welcome to relax on the couches and beds, and they will have access to plenty of toys, frozen treats, and chews. We take walks/runs on a nearby trail, and can adjust the length of the walk to accommodate your dog's energy levels. I'll always have your pup on a leash unless you specify otherwise

About: I have experience with cats with health issues and giving medications. My 18 yr old has CKD and a few other issues he gets supplements for that keep him going. I have volunteered with cats at an animal shelter and helped with dog adoption events as a dog handler. My schedule is very open at the moment so I'm available for whatever is needed. I have 3 cats so I do need to be home several times a day to care for them. My cats are indoor only but I take my 18 year old out on a leash on walks around the yard, but he mostly prefers to be carried. I'm happy to take other cats on walks if they are harness trained, or just play with them indoors. Dogs I will walk of course and play with as needed.

About: Hello my name is Angela and I'm a huge animal enthusiast. I live not to far from most shore towns where people visit including Ocean City, Sea Isle, Avalon, and Stone Harbor. I own a home on a medium sized lot,so your dog has somewhere to safely play. The backyard is fenced off while the front is not. I also live in a relatively small neighborhood (2x3) blocks that's perfect for going on walks with the pups! I will take really good care of your family member as I would my own. I also don't mind sending frequent check ins and I'm guilty of taking to many pictures because they are just so dang cute! Please feel free to contact me anytime, looking forward to hearing from you! I own my own pet transportation company called Angie's Puppy Shuttle. My husband and I have owned dogs out entire life and since we don't have children, our dogs are a willing substitute, we will both be caring for your loved one while they stay with us. They will be welcome to the middle of the bed every night 🤣 Sometimes I am away, traveling cross country to introduce a family to their new puppy. The rest of that time I enjoy doing crafts, playing with the dogs outside and inside, playing pool and making a new snuggle buddy. I have dealt with the escape artist routine and don't want to pose that risk to your pet. We have a backyard with a fence and will remain on a leash no matter what. I just don't feel comfortable trusting them without it. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

About: Hi, my name is Kayley. I am 26 years old, and I worked at South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter. I had worked with this company for over four years, and love working with all animals. I spend most of my time with dogs and I enjoy taking care of them. Most of my duties at the shelter include feedings, giving meds, cleaning after them, socializing, playgroups with other dogs, and loving ever single baby! I have had two dogs of my own, and am experienced in caring for and walking dogs. Because I have been working with animals for so long, I am skilled in knowing the ins and outs of dogs, and their needs. Can’t wait to be working with you and your baby! Because I do not work full-time, my schedule is completely free and flexible to focus entirely on whatever your pet needs. I am fully available to accommodate everything from quick daily drop-in visits and midday walks to dedicated, overnight in-home house sitting. Since my time is wide open, I can easily maintain your pet's exact daily routine, provide constant companionship, and handle last-minute schedule changes or extended care with ease. Personally prefer not to take care of someone’s pet in my home. Just cause meeting someone new can be stressful for an animal otherwise being in a environment they are already familiar and comfortable in!

About: I have grown up with dogs almost all of my life and they are great! I drive around for work as a speech therapist, so if you need someone to pop in and let your dog out, maybe we can work something out! I also enjoy taking dogs for walks, too. In the pictures is my dog Georgia, who passed away several years ago, unexpectedly. I can’t bare to delete them! I currently am working from home, trying to build my own business, so my schedule is currently flexible. I walk my dog 2x a day. I am not offering in home care for dogs due to having my own dog and family in the house, but in your house, I will follow instructions to care for them and/or play with them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
